A Final Farewell to the Chapman Campaign
We even had some fun on this blog coming up with campaign theme songs for Gene, and came up with a variety of choices, from "Pardon Me" by Incubus to "Flagpole Sitta" by Harvey Danger.
However, I saved the best for last.
In memory of his campaign and all the laughs he gave us, and in the hopes he will finally realize what good singing actually sounds like, I dedicate the following as the perfect song to describe Gene and his presidential campaign.
So, without further ado, I present to you "River of Deceit" by Mad Season, featuring the late great Layne Staley on vocals.
Why Did Gene Abandon His Campaign?
Those comments were posted on other blogs as well. I deleted them from this one, simply because they cannot be substantiated and were highly inflammatory to the point that, if untrue, they could be actionable. At the same time, it was a hard decision because there was one item in there that someone probably wouldn't know unless they actually knew Gene. That information is not available on the internet except in a lone audioblog from years ago, and even there it didn't go into detail.
Is it possible that Gene suddenly dropped out of the presidential race due to these accusations? It's an awfully big coincidence that he was just talking about how he was to participate in an LP conference call for presidential candidates today, and yesterday he dropped out of the race and deleted all of his blogs, with no warning whatsoever.
It's possible those two things are related and, if so, I just feel bad that Gene didn't listen to me back when he first started his campaign, even before I started this blog, when I warned him in no uncertain terms that anything he had ever done will come back to bite him in a presidential campaign. I don't know if this is some of the stuff that he thought would never come to light, but I do find his sudden disapparance - in less than 24 hours after those comments were posted in multiple blogs - to be a very, very strange coincidence.
GENE ENDS PRESIDENTIAL RUN
Thursday, March 29, 2007
Posted 3/29/2007 08:34:00 PM by Gene
Greetings,
I've carried the ball as far down field as I can. With 4 jobs and school starting in June, along with not having a truck to carry me to presidential debates, I see no way to continue the campaign.
I've withdrawn from the race and have my sights on the Class Action Materials and operating under the redar toward the Tribulation Period. I've deleted all the websites relating to the campaign.
If there were a following for our ideas, it would have already show itself in the form of a donation.
God Bless you,
Gene Chapman
genechapman@hotmail.com
So apparently he didn't get even one donation.
Gene's campaign website is indeed gone, and has been replaced by a filler page advertising "Plainfield Role Slave" (whatever the heck that is). In fact, as he said, all the campaign pages are gone.
That includes a blog maintained solely by his 15-year-old "Intelligent Design Advisor", which had absolutely nothing to do with Gene's campaign. It was basically a religious blog. I didn't agree with anything that kid said, and truthfully read it for laughs, but at the same time that kid put a LOT of work into that blog. It was a lot better blog than Gene's would ever have been.
Gene shouldn't have deleted the kid's blog. That wasn't right. Gene didn't write that blog, he didn't maintain that blog, and precious little on that blog had anything to do with Gene.
Yet to be seen is if he will try to make a comeback into the presidential race, or if he will instead bill himself forever as "Former US Presidential Candidate Gene Chapman".

Gene's "Campaign Facts On The Ground"
Entire families live on far less than that. After all, he's effectively demanding a tax-free minimum salary of 37K so he can play make-believe presidential candidate. He seems to be threatening to quit his campaign if he doesn't get the money, not ever realizing that no one cares if he runs or not, and that no one is ever going to send him that kind of money.
I'm not sure why he needs to be supported for 21 months, though. The party nominations will be done long before then, unless of course he plans to waste .... er, I mean, spend money as an independent candidate even if all the parties ignore him as expected.
Campaign facts on The Ground
To wage a credible road-based campaign, I will need a minimum of $100 per day or $3,100 per month thru the next 21 months.
A bus ticket to Orlando, Florida for the LP events of March 17, 18 and 19 will cost me somewhere around $200, plus food and shelter. I expect about the same cost for a bus ticket to Tennessee for the march 31st events.
On the CP events in April, I expect we will need $400 plus food and shelter for the 21st and 22nd.
Beyond this, I am forced to seek employment in Texas, and I don't know what will be allowed for campaigning, if I get a job. I'm checking into technical school tomorrow, as my life experience tells me that tons of money just doesn't show up on your doorstep in this world for campaigns. If it did, I'd already be pushing full time in the presidential campaign.
The biggest development is the Class Action Materials under "B2" of the "Platform Writings" on the left side of ChapmanForPresident08.com being examined by the Southern Baptist Convention for a possible change to their Confession of Faith. WOW!
Gene Chapman
ChapmanForPresident08.com
Of course, Gene's right when he says money doesn't just show up on your doorstep. You have to actually walk out into the backyard and pick it off the money tree when you want to waste a lot of money on foolishness .... er, I meant, live off other people rather than working .... er, I meant, run a losing political campaign .... er, well, you all know what I'm trying to say. LOL
Okay, let's talk about where he's really going to get this money. Gene basically wants his supporters to provide 100% of his personal expenses so he doesn't have to work, plus the campaign expenses. I think that much is clear, especially since he makes it clear that if he doesn't get the money, he might have to get a job (or go to tech school) and then won't have time to campaign. However, his supporters are all deadbeats who, like him, can't hold onto a job because they're running from the IRS (except Doug, who is busy paying off an outstanding tax bill, so he doesn't have any money either).
Of course, it would normally be possible for a candidate to raise needed funds by getting small donations from a large number of supporters. Since Gene only has a handful of supporters (if that many, if you don't count his campaign staff) he doesn't have that option.
I'm also curious about Gene attending tech school. While I think it's a wonderful thing to further one's education no matter what one chooses to study, I'm not sure he can enroll in any school without a social security number (well, technically he has one, but he "turned it in" so he pretends like he doesn't have one). I'm also not quite clear on how he plans to pay for it. He can't get a student loan or an educational grant without a social security number, and he apparently has no savings since he just announced that he's down to his last $800.
Incidentally, he read the letter from the Southern Baptist Convention on an audioblog. What's strange is that, where he reads it as a "WOW!" letter, suggesting that he is changing the face of Christianity, everyone else thinks it sounds like either a form letter, or a letter telling him politely not to bother the guy anymore.
That is, everyone except one person commenting to Gene's blog. That person thinks there's not a letter at all, and that Gene's just making up the entire thing.
I honestly don't think Gene is making up the letter. I think he's just misinterpreting it, because his "life experience" has not even come close to preparing him for the real world. Gene seems to think it can't be a form letter because it was signed in ink, and he claims that the letter suggests the President of the Southern Baptist Convention was "impressed" with his Class Action Material even though in reality it says no such thing.
In far less amusing news, Gene continues making veiled suicide threats. He previously said he was going to walk out into the desert without water. Now, he says that he is going to get onto a raft and float out into the ocean.

Gene Dropping Out of Presidential Race?
IRS Finds Chapman
Well, the IRS has sent a letter to my employer to take my checks, down to $168 per week, so I'm off to new adventures. I'm praying about a walk in the desert to visit with God on the matter. Being a homeless man is attractive to me in the world we live in. Lots of homeless people come from IRS issues, I've found.
I'll attend LP and CP events, as I can, but God has clearly opened up a new direction for me, and His priorities are gonna be #1.
Gene Chapman
Libertarian Man
ChapmanForPresident08.com
Honestly, I'm not surprised the IRS found him. They always do. Gene owes a lot of back taxes (he filed false returns saying he had zero income), and he tells people that if they follow his plan they can avoid paying taxes too. The fact that he reveals his work information on the internet probably didn't help.
Of course, people do live on $168/week, and even support kids on that much money (or less). Gene doesn't maintain a residence, and he has no dependents. He just doesn't want to pay money to the IRS, so he quit his job. It's kind of hard to feel sorry for him or anybody else in his position, to be honest, since he does have the option of working.
I would hate to see him homeless again, but of course he would be homeless by choice since he has the option of not quitting his job, and apparently the option of staying with his mother (in an audioblog, Gene said he's having boxes shipped to her home). I'm sure most homeless people wish they had the luxury of those choices.
I say "homeless again" because it wouldn't be the first time Gene was homeless by choice due to his tax problems. The last time, he was living in his very small dilapidated RV in a state park, and eating in homeless shelters and soup kitchens. While living under those conditions, he decided to set himself on fire at an IRS building.
Who knows what he'll do this time, but he will definitely do something nutty because that's his modus operandi whenever the IRS slaps a lien on his paycheck. It won't surprise me at all if he ends up in another psychiatric hospital due to attempting to off himself in some bizarre manner.
All in all, the news brings me no pleasure whatsoever, and I can find no humor in it. I'm torn between feeling sorry for him, and thinking he made his own bed and now must lie in it. I guess I feel a little of both.
Either way, it will be difficult if not impossible for him to continue his campaign while homeless or wandering the desert. As Gene says, "We will see".

Gene's Traffic Troubles
Doug blew it out of proportion as he is wont to do, and said Gene lost his Commercial Drivers License. Gene did NOT lose his CDL over a single ticket, and in fact has not lost his CDL at all. While Gene seems to think that people like me will further this untrue rumor which Doug started, obviously he is wrong.
Gene said his employer's insurance won't cover him as of June, so he might be out of trucking as of that time. He was upset that Doug brought up the situation on an audioblog, because he hadn't planned to discuss it until he had time to make a written blog. Gene thinks his enemies (I guess I fall into that category) will say that he is a loser for losing his career.
For the record .... even I wouldn't say that this makes him a loser. It's a fact of life that truckers do speed (c'mon, we've all seen it), and they sometimes get tickets for it (although they probably aren't ticketed as often as they should be for it, I really don't think they should lose their careers unless they get ticketed a lot). Losing a traffic speeding case doesn't make Gene a loser.
If indeed Gene loses his career over one speeding ticket, it's unfortunate and even unfair, and I take no pleasure in it at all. I just thought I should state my stance on this clearly and unequivocally.

Gene's Newest Banishment Spree
If anybody reading this blog got banned, let me know who you are and whether you posted any of those messages, or if you got banned for some other reason. (NOTE: After I wrote this, I got word that Jon Heaberlin had been banned, although he had not participated in any way shape or form in the fake emails sent to that site, and he had ALWAYS posted under his real name. He said the only thing he has posted at all on Gene's blog recently was a comment today that Doug was posting under other people's names again. He's right, Doug was quite obviously posting as "Anon" while calling tax protesters "great patriots").
Gene got an interesting reader comment, from somebody called "John Doe" - I wonder if Gene will think that John Doe is someone's true name? LOL
Good for you Gene for banning folks from the reader comments for claiming to be people they were not.Ouch! That was actually rather painful. It's also rather true.
For example, people claiming to be from Fox and Friends and unable to email or call you, when your phone number and email are right here on the blog.
I mean, what kinda moron would actually think that was a real Fox and Friends producer?
Oh wait. You did. So did Doug E. Not-So-Fresh here.
You two are not the sharpest knives in the drawer, are ya?
Is this the intellectual prowess we can expect from a Chapman Presidency? Outsmarted by a blog post?
But then again what is the basis for your claim of intellectual grandness? The fact that in the podunk town you grew up in, you could play chess just a tad bit better than the rest of the locals?
That certainly is the basis for a Presidency I'll tell ya. Why, everyone knows Grant only made President because he was able to use the Queen's Gambit to perfection.
But that's ok Gene. Keep thinking Fox and ABC and CBS and all the rest want to talk to you on the air.
Your delusions of grandeur coupled with your obvious suicidal tendencies and dysthymic disorder spells electoral landslide for sure come 2008.
Conning a gullible imbecile like you and Doug into thinking Fox & Friends wanted to really talk to you was perhaps not the nicest thing to do. After all, one should not take advantage of another person's obvious mental weaknesses.
But it sure as hell was a lot of fun and I commend whoever did it for showing you to be the utter buffoon you really are.

More Reader Comment Fun; Gene's Newest Crazy Audioblog
People are still having fun with the fake "Fox and Friends" interview request. He has gotten interview requests from both Steven Spielberg and (apparently very famous in his galaxy) Morvo the Devourer.
First, Spielberg:
Mr. Chapman, Steve Spielberg here. Executive Producer of well, everything. Now, let's hear from Morvo the Devourer:
I have been following your rise and how the TV people are just fawning over you. Take my advice, forget them. A big story and big amount of self-absoprtion like yours requires the big screen.
I am seeing a biopic- sorta Ghandi meets One Flew Over The Cookoo's Nest. The story of one man's courageous fight to hold fake death fasts and real psychotic attempts at suicide by torch. At the end it focuses on the challenges of a man who claims to be running for President but spends almost his entire time griping about site meters. (By the way, neither Bush nor Kerry nor anyone who ran for President in 2004 had site meters on their websites. Did that make them fake candidates? Talk to the script doctor, maybe we can work that in.) It concludes with him losing, claiming a variety of conspiracies keeping him out of debates and what not.
The take away message: Every fart that fights the ventilation system thinks its Don Quixote (or in your case, Ghandi). It isn't (and you aren't).
Tentative title: The Insane and the Flammable.
Early casting idea for you: I can get the E.T. suit out of mothballs and slap on a toga. I think it will work perfectly.
Have your people or, and let’s be honest PERSON (hi Doug), call my people.
Best,
Steve

I am the Morvo the Devourer. I am infuriated that your mammal words translate poorly for my purposes except for the squealings of the wild boar. I host the morning show known as Breakfast of Worlds known far as the superior news and talk show on this arm of my galaxy. I want to add you to the menu of my show. No need for self roasting for petroleum caused flatulence. Puny humans must be impressed by this invitation for your campaign. We can chew the fats as is said in States. You will contact me with mind gravitation waves if you accept this offer of publicities on many worlds. The Morvo comment is killer. It sounds like a character from "Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy", LOL

Today Gene posted the words to his song "Missed the Gist of Jesus's Promised Land" and says he's going to market it (he admits in his audioblog that he stole the tune from Merle Haggard, but that's okay, because God told him it was okay to steal the tune). Who allegedly responded with a recording offer? None other than P Diddy (formerly Puff Daddy, formerly Sean Combs):
You Chap-man. Whad up, yo?Then, Gene announced that he is the "Founder and Chancellor" of "American Libertarian University" (which only exists in his mind and on a free blogger account). Guess who allegedly wants to be a professor?
Dude, read your dope lines here and just knew you were Bad Boy Records material. Rhyming hand with with land? Genius. Word.
We could hook you up with a duet with Faith Evans on, now heard me out dog, a new song entitled "Can't Be No Playa If You Ain't Got No SiteMeter".
We can work it out in the demos, but straight up, if you sign a contract with us youse gots to read the attachment on setting fire to yourself in the studios. Equipment costs, man.
Save if for the tour. Light yourself on stage every night, or well I guess the first night. Doing in the toga would be DOPE.
Peace out, I'll text up my digits.

Mr. Chapman:Yet, people say on some political blogs, when they find this one, that I have too much time on my hands. Even I don't have the time to come up with stuff like that, LOL. :-)
Yours is such a wonderful notion that I, founder of the original Academy for teaching, have come back from the beyond to teach in it.
If you are not too busy with fake Fox and Friends interviews, please let me know where I apply to start as a professor in this wonderful place.
By the way, I have my own toga and am a BIG fan of yours. But, do I have to ask a question.
Do I have to light myself on fire for tenure? I mean, can't I just drink some hemlock? This is sorta a deal breaker.

Now, for the audioblog update:
Gene made another of his insanely boring audioblogs today. Honestly, I wouldn't have listened to it, except that someone in my reader comments suggested I do so since Doug had a meltdown. So, I spent an hour listening to the two of them spewing both hatred and generalized stupidity.
Gene started talking about how Christine Smith's campaign is about sex toys. That's stupid. She mentioned in one blog how the government needs to stay out of people's sex lives, and mentioned sex toys in that context. That's it, but Gene is obsessed with it (probably because he couldn't get laid in a Phillipine whorehouse). Gene said Christine Smith's bedroom "must be an amazing place", and even said something about her "sticking something up her boyfriend's rear end".
:-O
Then, it was Doug's turn to be weird. Boy, did he ever have a meltdown. At one point he was ranting so much that he actually seemed to be out of breath for about five minutes.
Doug went on some bizarro rant - and kept coming back to it - about Jake Porter saying it is the law to file a 1040 form with the IRS. Well, hate to tell you guys, but it is the law whether you like it or not. At one point, Doug was on such a bizarre rant that Gene asked Doug if he was bipolar. Doug asked Gene if he tried to set himself on fire in front of an IRS building and, when Gene said he did, Doug told him he had no room to talk about other people being bipolar. I had to laugh about that one, since I don't disagree that they're both nuttier than squirrel crap.
It appears that the reader comments are really getting under Doug's skin, much more than they are affecting Gene. In fact, they don't seem to bother Gene at all - it appears Gene has a sense of humor about it - but Doug's going off the proverbial deep end about "sock puppets" in the reader comments. He says he's not going to participate on Gene's blog anymore, but that's a threat he makes on a regular basis so I'm not sure we should take it seriously. What Doug doesn't seem to understand is that most of the problems in the reader comments of Gene's blog were caused by Doug being a smartass. Plus, Doug's upset that Gene told him not to cuss so much on the blog. I guess Doug can't win a debate, so he resorts to profanity and ad hominem attacks, which are of course the last bastion of a failed argument (and a small mind).
He also said that, once he gets his current income tax problems resolved, he's going to become a tax denier again. Hmmmm ..... it's ruined his life, he bitches constantly about how his life has been ruined, and he's going to do the same thing again? That's the definition of stupidity.
Gene thinks Doug should make a theological argument for not paying taxes. Gene claims his theological argument is why he hasn't been prosecuted. Gene and Doug got into a bit of an argument - almost a yelling match - and Doug pointed out that if Gene made that argument in court, he'd go to prison. Doug was all upset about it, but at least he understands that Gene's theological argument will not work in actual practice.
However, for some odd reason, Doug blames Gene's eventually going to prison for tax evasion on Jake Porter, the same 18-year-old Phillies volunteer Doug (for no apparent reason) threatened to kill earlier this week in a rant so bizarre I'm still scratching my head. Honestly, I'm beginning to get a little concerned about Doug's very angry obsession with young Jake, especially considering that Jake has been nothing but polite to Doug, and hasn't even done or said any of what Doug is attributing to him. It's almost like Doug is focusing all his anger on this one young man, yet no one understands why he's doing so.
Anyway .... Doug, if you evade taxes again, they'll send you to prison. They're just not going to play this game with you twice, nor should they. If the feds don't come after you, the state will. So you'd better think it through.
Last but not least, Gene wants to start banning people. Doug doesn't. He told Gene to ban people if he wants. Doug also said that Gene is afraid to do anything without him. He wants Gene to call other candidates out of the blue, and record the conversation and put it on the internet. Um, guys, I'm not sure that's completely legal.
When the audioblog cut off due to time restrictions, Doug was still ranting on and on about poor young Jake Porter. Who knows what he said after that point. Considering that he threatened to kill the kid just a few days ago, I'm afraid to ask.
I will say this, though. Doug is damn good and lucky it's not my 19-year-old son he's threatening. Take that any way you want.

Gene's "Fox and Friends" Interview Invitation
Mr. Chapman,Okay, let's review. That email address is the address for show suggestions, not to anyone in particular affiliated with that show. The telephone number is real, but it is there for the same purpose.
My name is Janice Harvey, and I am a producer for the television show "FOX and Friends" on the FOX News Channel. Our senior producer, Matt Singerman, would be interested in speaking with you about appearing on our show.
I am sorry to communicate with you via this format, but I have been unable to find your email address or phone number on your website. If you are interested, then please contact me at your earliest convenience at the number or email below.
Thank you,

Janice Harvey | Homepage | 01.11.07 - 10:55 pm | #
Most tellingly, Matt Singerman hasn't been with Fox & Friends since October 2005, according to press releases. He now works for TV Guide Channel. He also wasn't senior producer even when he was with Fox & Friends, he was Executive Producer.
A real television producer, journalist, etc would never leave a blog comment asking someone to contact them for an interview. This is for several reasons, not the least of which is that they would have no way of confirming that the caller really was Gene Chapman. Furthermore, Gene's phone number and email are on his blog, for anyone who cares to look, and Doug's phone number is there too.
However, Gene and Doug don't bother to research, preferring instead to leave blog comments with asinine and easily answered questions. It's therefore no surprise that Gene and Doug would assume that other "important people" also don't take the time to do basic research. It's also telling that Doug has taken to responding to commenters by saying "We report. You decide". That just happens to be the slogan for Fox News.
Clearly, somebody is messing with Gene. There can be no doubt about it. It's actually a pretty good practical joke, especially since Gene and Doug both jumped at the alleged opportunity. Accordingly, the following responses to "Janice" were left on Gene's blog comments section:

Chapman Invited On Fox and FriendsAfter that, somebody (or maybe several people, acting either individually or in concert) decided to have even more fun with Gene. I had no hand in this, incidentally; I just sat back and watched the show. First, he heard from somebody pretending to be from Good Morning America:
I've just been invited to be on "Fox and Friends." I'll keep you all updated.

Mr. ChapmanThen, he heard from somebody allegedly representing several CBS News programs:

Hi Gene. Jeff Ross here with Late Night with Conan O'Brien.I personally think Gene's weirdness would be better suited for David Letterman, but I'm a Letterman fan from back in the "Guy Under The Seats" and "Monkey Cam" days, so I'm probably not completely unbiased.
It looks like you have some tought choices to make on who you are going with in the morning. But for evening/late night this should be a no brainer, even for a guy diagnosed with Dysthymic Disorder.
Come to us Gene, we'll cheer you up! You may have to, you know, sign some waivers that if you decide to commit suicide by self-immolation your estate will not hold Conan, the show, NBC Universal or our parent GE liable.
Plus, if you do decide to ignite yourself, you'll have to do it outside in Rockefeller Center, as NYC has a strick no smoking policy in workplaces and offices.
And there may be a pre-taping psych screening, but we make everyone do that. Really, everyone. Seriously, it is not just you.

Finally, even The Ghost of Edward R. Murrow had to get in on the act:
Mr. Chapman:I have to say, this practical joke is diabolical. It is also some of the funniest stuff I have seen, hands down. You can't buy this kind of comedy. Stay tuned, I'll update the blog if there's any must-see additional interview bids, or fallout from the Chapman campaign.
So serious is your campaign I have personally come back from the dead to have a special from beyond the grave edition of See It Now to interview you.
CBS News has changed a great deal since I was alive and on air, so there is a matter of you agreeing, in writing before hand, not to light yourself on fire on air.
However, in something they are calling the "Janet Jackson exception" you are permitted to show your nipples. Well, one.
Since I am dead, I have no, what do you call it, email? So please post your reply.
Respectfully,

Doug Threatens To Kill Jake Porter
Unfortunately, it has gotten far, far worse. Doug is now threatening to kill people. No, I'm not kidding.
This problem started out with Doug Kenline insulting young Jake Phillies, who is a very intelligent and mature 18-year-old Phillies volunteer, and who also comments on Gene's blog occasionally. Jake's a nice guy, and he doesn't give Gene and Doug nearly the level of hell that most do. Still, since he's about the only Phillies volunteer who gives Gene and Doug the time of day, they go out of their way to insult him. It all came to to a head with this (which is absolutely NOT true - Jake NEVER said Gene should be in jail, he just pointed out that there really is a law which requires people to file and pay federal income taxes).
Jake Porter Believes Gene Chapman Belongs In A Prison Cell Yet Refuses To Face Gene Like A Man On His Radio ShowOkey-dokey. So, Doug wants to have a schoolyard fight with Jake, but he wants to have it from behind the safety of his cell phone and his computer screen. Jake may be young, but I think it's a safe bet to say that he's a lot less sissified than Doug. Not surprisingly, Jake's also not stupid enough to walk into a trap. So he predictably and politely declined, over and over again even before Doug posted the above.
Let us know when you can be on the show Jake. We look forward to talking with you.

Other readers of Gene's blog became upset with hearing Doug pick on an 18-year-old incessantly (hey, most people posting there probably have sons that age, since I do and I figure they're about my age), and started making comments about how Doug is picking on a kid.
Here's a sampling:
Oh, for the love of God. Enough is enough. Jake acts older than the two of you combined, and he's only 18. Both of you are nothing but an overgrown schoolyard bully hiding behind a computer screen and yelling out nasty names at people you're secretly afraid of. I hope picking on a teenage kid makes you feel like a big important man, because it makes you look petty and stupid. Real presidential, Gene. Grow the hell up.Ouch! Even Gene chimed in to tell Doug to cut the crap.

I agree. Doug, stop attacking people. I'm gone two days, and you're waging world war. What's up with this, Doug?Well, he didn't say that. Doug just made it up. Others agree that Doug just made it up. For example, Jason Gatties said
Where did Jake say I belong in prison?
gene chapman | 01.09.07 - 8:54 pm | #
Gene, Jake never said you belonged in Jail.Doug responded as follows:
Jason Gatties | Homepage | 01.09.07 - 10:51 pm | #
Jake says there is a law that says Gene has to pay the income tax. Gene does not pay the income tax. Jake therefore believes that "these tax protesters" are criminals. It follows that Jake Porter believes that Gene Chapman deserves to be in prison just like Irwin Schiff. Jake is obviously happy and satisfied that Gene's preffered running mate is in prison and therefore he obviously would be happy to see Gene Chapman join Irwin Schiff in a prison cell.Okay, that makes NO sense at all. Jake NEVER said any such thing about Gene, Irwin Schiff, or prison. Of course, tax protesters like Gene and Doug don't file or pay federal income taxes because they claim that there is no law which requires them to do so. That's all Jake was addressing. Here, read for yourself what Jake wrote:
Doug Kenline | Homepage | 01.09.07 - 11:07 pm
Saturday, January 6, 2007It sounds to me like Jake has some sympathy for the tax protesters's plight, but is pointing out that they are going about it the wrong way since there is indeed an income tax law.
The Income Tax Law
Perhaps these tax protesters would have a better argument to say they are not going to pay taxes for political beliefs.
The most basic myth of tax protestors is that there is simply no law mandating the payment of income taxes—that the whole system is “voluntary” or “optional.” Frequently one can observe anti-tax types to say something like, “if only someone would show me the laws that say that I have to file a tax return and pay taxes, I’d be happy to do it.” I have a strong suspicion that people who say that are not serious, but I’m going to take them at their word. Here are the laws that (a) impose an income tax on you, (b) require you to file an income tax return, and (c) require you to pay taxes:Click here to read more about the law that requires you to pay an income tax.
We will read a little more:The federal tax laws are contained in Title 26 of the United States Code, which is the compilation of laws passed by the Congress (“Title” basically means “Volume” when applied to the U.S. Code as a whole, so Title 26 is what might more casually be called Volume 26). The most important statutory provision with regard to income taxes is section one of the tax code, 26 U.S.C. § 1. This is the section that actually imposes the income tax. It’s very simply written. If you are unmarried, the relevant provision is § 1(c), which states:And now this:The “exemption amount” is defined in 26 U.S.C. § 151(d) as $2000, adjusted for inflation since 1989. You can see the exact amount for the current tax year in the IRS instructions to form 1040. If you have more income than this amount, section 6012 requires you to file a tax return (except that if you’re married, section 6013 gives you the option of filing a joint return with your spouse).Click here to read more about the law that requires you to pay an income tax. | #
So there it is:
Sections 1, 61, and 63 impose the tax,
Section 6012 requires you to file a tax return if you have income of more than the exemption amount, and
Section 6151 requires you to pay the tax at the time and place fixed for the filing of your return.
This is where it gets interesting, and extremely disturbing. A regular commenter on Gene's blog wrote the following:
By that logic, Gene Chapman believes Jake Porter should be shot and killed.Obviously, he was pointing out that Doug's statement is stupid, and not that Doug should shoot Jake Porter. The Chapman Revolution, of course, is when Gene appoints himself Dictator and gives all the paranoids guns so they can do away with "communists".
Doug, during the Chapman Revolution will you be wielding a gun? If you see Jake, would you shoot him?
Anon | Homepage | 01.09.07 - 11:17 pm |
Now, any normal person would say, "Are you kidding? I'm not going to shoot Jake Porter!" Not Doug Kenline, though. He lost what little bit of mind he started out with, and spewed the following threatening bile against a kid who has never threatened Doug in any way, shape, or form.
And this is the same conversation that Kent McManigal was having with some lesser educated readers in his reader comments. No, it's not the same conversation Kent McManigal was having on his blog. I guess Doug just reads what he wants to read.
Gordon call killed the federal officer in self defense and I would kill Jake in self defense if he were to break into my house in the middle of the night by smashing through my window with a sharp knife in one hand and a glock in the other firing recklessly into my home in my close proximity killing my dog and threatening to kill my mother and father who happened to be visiting for the evening and I had a sawed off shotgun hanging on a rack above my bed and then the intruder started yelling out I'm going to kill you I'm going to kill every mother fucker in this house at the top of his lungs and came lunging directly at me with an insane fire in his eyes putting the infrared beame of his glock squarely on my forehead yes I would pull down my sawed off shotgun and kill the son-of-a-bitch then I'd let the buzzards eat him if I was Josey Wales and it was somewhere around 1866 in Missouri by the Missouri river.
Doug Kenline | Homepage | 01.10.07 - 12:28 am |
Obviously, Doug has some very serious mental issues, since he envisions a political campaign volunteer doing what he describes above. I mean, that's a very specific violent fantasy Doug has going on there in his mind about Jake Porter. I have to say, he is more likely than not in serious need of psychiatric treatment.
One commenter summed up my feelings on this fiasco quite nicely:
Which may explain why Doug's only chance to reproduce involves creating a cult-like breeding program, where he is a self-declared "stallion of the brood"Seriously, folks, be careful with those two. I guess I haven't said that enough on this blog, but it's time I did. Mostly they just spew hatred and threats from behind a computer screen, which is pretty damn funny, I must admit (except of course when they detail their sick violent fantasies, while naming a specific person as the intended recipient of their outrage). However, there's a disconnect which could actually render them dangerous if they felt threatened, and in reality it wouldn't matter if they actually were threatened or not. It's all a matter of perception with people like that, and bear in mind they're already delusional.
The sad thing is that these aren't just kids playing around. Gene threatened to blow up a federal building, and attempted to light himself on fire next to a truck with a leaky propane tank.
At least the government is doing its job by keeping a close eye on him. That's one thing government should do, protect people like Jake from dangerous people like Gene and Doug.
Tom Bryant | 01.10.07 - 4:26 pm | #
Alice In Chains probably summed up Gene and Doug's behavior best in their song "I Stay Away" when they sang "Why you act crazy? Not an act, maybe?"

I have no idea why Doug thinks it's okay to say "fuck" on a presidential blog. However, based on his usage of the term "fancy fuck sock puppet boy", I think he has a crush on My Own God. ;-)

Gene Sings!
Oh, did I ever mention that Gene claims to be a "musical genius"? That, of course, only makes this even funnier.
UDPATE: It looks like Gene isn't the only "musical genius" floating around on our little area of cyberspace. "My Own God", who posts on Gene's blog, wrote the following little ditty for Gene:
I think that Gene Chapman is real crazy. Do-Do-Do-DoI wonder how long it will be before "My Own God" is banned from Gene's blog? LOL
I think he really needs to get a grip. Do-Do-Do-Do
There is no way in hell he’ll get elected. Do-Do-Do-Do
It’s like he is on an acid trip. Do-Do-Do-Do
He wont be a slave or pay his taxes. Do-Do-Do-Do
He spent 40 days on a hunger fast. Do-Do-Do-Do
The IRS wouldn’t answer his questions. Do-Do-Do-Do
So he started eatin, he could not last. Do-Do-Do-Do
He met a nice girl, her name was Jessica. Do-Do-Do-Do
She was real sweet, a southern bell. Do-Do-Do-Do
But when she looked closely at her new lover. Do-Do-Do-Do
She got up and ran as fast as hell. Do-Do-Do-Do
He took some gas to that evil building. Do-Do-Do-Do
And at that place he flipped his mental lid. Do-Do-Do-Do
But they stopped him from lighting himself on fire. Do-Do-Do-Do
I truly wish that they frickin did. Do-Do-Do-Do
If anybody else wants to take a shot at writing a little ditty about Gene, feel free to post your lyrics here. I'll post them to the main blog (as long as they aren't horribly profane).
UPDATE #2: Gene has apparently updated his song then updated it again. He messes up the words an awful lot but still, this time he gets it right, since instead of "Doon-Do-Do-Doon" he sings "Dumb-duh-duh-dumb". LOL
I still have no idea why he thinks anybody reading his "presidential" blog wants to listen to that kind of crap except, of course, that Gene claims he was told in college he's a "musical genius" despite having taken only "Piano For Beginners".

Gene Chooses Running Mate
Irwin Schiff is (like Gene) a diagnosed delusional. Unlike Gene, who has yet to be prosecuted for tax crimes, Schiff is currently serving his third federal prison term for tax-related crimes. He's 78 years old, and his projected release date is October 7, 2016.
Schiff has written several books on tax law, all of which he self-published. One of his books, The Federal Mafia, was effectively banned by a federal court. The court believed Schiff's book constituted commercial speech, which is not protected by the First Amendment, and the main concern is that it incited people to break the law while encouraging them to seek further "help" (at great cost) from snake-oil salesman Schiff. While I disagree with the banning of any book, for any reason, the fact remains that at least 26 people over the years have been sent to federal prison as a result of following Schiff's teachings; that's not even counting the number of people whose lives have been ruined by Schiff's teachings.
Gene is one of those people. He first stopped filing and paying income taxes after deciding to follow Schiff; his religious arguments against the income tax came later, almost as an afterthought. Despite all the problems Schiff's teachings caused in Gene's life, he refuses to believe that Schiff might be wrong.
Yet, even Schiff admits he might be wrong. He filed a brief with the court in his latest case, stating that he was diagnosed with a chronic, severe delusional disorder which caused his beliefs about income tax law. Schiff later tried to backtrack in an effort to lessen the impact of that brief, by claiming that his beliefs are true (and, by extension, that people who don't see that it's true must be delusional themselves) but still admitted that more than one psychologist believes him to be delusional. Here's what Schiff wrote in his attempt to backtrack:
In any case, Defendant does not believe he is “delusional.” However, a person who is “delusional” certainly doesn’t believe he is “delusional.” Defendant believes – with every fiber of his being – that, for a variety of reasons, (1) no law requires him nor anyone else to pay income taxes, and (2) the entire federal judiciary, along with the entire tax division of the Justice Department, are involved in a monumental, mind-boggling criminal conspiracy to collect income taxes in violation of law. This will be Defendant’s primary defense – as reflected in a number of his pre-trial motions, none of which suggest that he intends to use a “psychiatric defense.” However, maybe Defendant is “delusional” with respect to his unconventional beliefs.Gee, I wonder why anybody would think Schiff was delusional? LOL
Nevertheless, the fact remains that Schiff used offshore accounts utilizing various tax identification numbers in an attempt to hide assets from the IRS, which is certainly not the actions of a man who believes there is no requirement to pay taxes. Not surprisingly, he was convicted of conspiracy to defraud the United States, aiding and assisting others in filing false tax returns, filing his own false tax returns, and evading the payment of millions of dollars in taxes. He received a sentence of 151 months on those charges, an additional 12 months for contempt of court, and was ordered to pay $4.2 million in restitution to the Internal Revenue Service.
Doug wrote in the comments section of Gene's blog that he thought Gene's decision to ask Schiff to be his presidential running mate was "a stroke of genius". Hmmmmm ..... well, it was a stroke of something. Or maybe, he just suffered a stroke, and this brain fart was the result of that cerebral incident.
Interestingly enough, this would not be the first time an incarcerated federal felon set their sights on the presidency. Leonard Peltier is the perpetual candidate for the "Peace and Freedom Party", and he is serving two consecutive life sentences for killing two FBI Agents. While some dispute Peltier's guilt, believing him to be a political prisoner (he was a Native American activist) the fact remains that he has been in prison since 1975, and no appellate court in over 30 years has found his arguments convincing enough to overturn his conviction, or grant him a new trial.

"Dear Mr. President ....."
Gene Chapman, 2008 U. S. Presidential CandidateI have no idea who told Gene he is entitled to a million bucks. No real attorney worth their salt would put a dollar value on a suit of that nature, even if his rights had been violated (but I will note that the lady at the Internal Revenue Service was just doing her job, by collecting income taxes from a guy who hadn't filed or paid in years, so that claim of impending compensation by Gene is highly suspect to say the very least).
P. O. Box 295545
Lewisville, Texas 75029
January 1, 2007
George W. Bush, President of The United States
1600 Pennsylvania Blvd.
Washington, D.C. 20502
Dear Mr. President:
On August 28, 2004, I was called in before a Communist Inquisition to explain why I had not paid personal income taxes (2nd Plank of "The Communist Manifesto") since 1999. IRS Agent Beverly Lee in the Ft. Worth, Texas office presided over the Inquisition.
I explained that my Christian religion forbids me to be a slave (taxed in labor, taxed in property and counted like cattle) and that Marxism's 10 Planks are designed to be a direct attack upon the very existence of the Christian religion. (See the enclosed Class Action Materials to gain further insight on the issue.)
IRS Agent Beverly Lee then proceeded the next month to place a lien upon any property I might own in Denton County, Texas (1st and 4th Planks of "The Communist Manifesto"), took about $100 out of my checking account (forcing it into negative territory and closure) and put a levy on my $1,000 per week paycheck (forcing me out of the job I had at Western Express in Birmingham, Alabama).
I spent the next six months unemployed, as I tried to figure out how to live as a Christian in Communist America, costing me about $30,000 in lost job opportunity.
On my way to burn myself in front of the IRS Building in Greenville, South Carolina, in January, 2005, I was hauled off to a mental hospital for evaluation for the next 39 days, where it was finally found that I had nothing wrong with me other than "depression" from my long fight with the IRS and was very committed to my "Christian views on slavery."
I am asking for your help in:
1) firing and filling charges against IRS Agent Beverly Lee for violating my 1st Amendment protected right to practice my Christian religion in Communist America.
2) removing the lien from my property in Denton County, Texas.
3) returning my $100 of checking account monies and $30,000 in lost job revenue.
4) gaining the $1,000,000 I'm informed that is to come to me for the religious abuse I suffered at the hands of IRS Agent Beverly Lee and her helpers.
5) gaining written assurances that Christians like me will never have to face Communist Aggressions from IRS agents in the future.
most respectfully,
Gene Chapman,
2008 U. S. Presidential Candidate
cell: 972-872-0784
I will also note that Gene was not diagnosed as being just "depressed". He was placed on an antipsychotic medication, Risperdal. Risperdal is not used for depression; quite the opposite, in fact, since it is used for schizophrenia and bipolar mania. You can also read Gene's own statement about taking Risperdal.

Doug Lifts Bans, Admits Gene Was BanMaster
However, what I still find very disturbing is that Doug also said that Gene Chapman was the one banning people all along. Worse, Gene doesn't even take personal responsibility for this behavior, and instead let everybody blame it on Doug.
No blog should ever ban anyone from commenting. This is especially true when the blog is a "campaign" blog for a guy running for president, and even more so when that same candidate berates everyone else constantly for doing exactly what he does himself. I don't even ban spammers from my blogs, and anyone can comment anonymously if they so choose. I only have a word verification tool, to keep spambots from overwhelming the blogs with advertisements.
Gene should bear in mind that the questions he's getting now about his background, which infuriate him so much, are nothing compared to the level of scrutiny he will face if and when he ever makes it out of the blogosphere, and into the mainstream. Based on the amount of information I have garnered about Gene's real background, in my spare time and for my own curiosity and amusement, one can only imagine how much more information I'd get if I ever decided to really investigate him, since that is after all what I do for a living. While I don't think Gene or his candidacy is newsworthy, other journalists may disagree. Gene needs to be prepared for that, and the best way to prepare himself is to field questions on his blog.
Hey, I tried to warn him that these questions would come up, back when he first started that blog. He chose not to listen, and now he's dealing with the completely predictable fallout of that decision.
That being said, I want to make clear that I am not any of the people asking those questions about Gene. I don't know who they are, but I still knew it would happen. Too many people have been laughing at Gene's antics for too long, for a presidential campaign to go unnoticed by his critics.

Tables Are Turned On Comments, Gene Predictably Whines
Doug asked George Phillies to be Gene's myspace "friend", and Phillies accepted. Then, Gene left a comment asking Doug why he asked to be Phillies's myspace friend, and saying that being friends with Phillies was like being friends with Fidel Castro.
Predictably, the Phillies campaign removed Gene from Phillies's friends list, based on what appeared to be a (very rude) request from Gene.
Unfortunately for Gene, you can't leave comments on myspace if you are not on someone's friends list, so he effectively cut off his nose to spite his face.
The fallout has been hilarious. I have not heard so much infantile whining and tantrum-throwing since my son was a toddler. They baited Phillies to remove them, now they whine because they can't comment. Huh?
Gene, why would you want to talk to someone you regularly call a "Communist", and who you now compare to Fidel Castro?
Those two just want something to whine about, to bring attention to themselves. It's not unlike a toddler in a supermarket, wanting a toy, getting it, then throwing it out of the buggy and getting upset when their parents put it back on the shelf.
Also like a toddler who won't let it go after someone reacts quite predictably to their bad behavior, Gene and Doug keep droning on and on about being deleted. Phillies campaign volunteer Jake Porter has explained to them ad nauseum why he did it, but they refuse to accept his answer. What a couple of babies.
Doug Quitting?
Oh, he also explains how he plans to defraud the IRS (and possibly a bankruptcy court). What a frickin' 'tard. He has assets he is hiding, so what does he do? He advertises what and where they are on the internet. LOL

Dishonesty on the Chapman blog
Doug is posting under too many names to enumerate, to make it appear that Gene has a lot more support than he really has. It's very easy to pick out Doug's comments as Doug's, though, no matter what name he uses.
Worse, he's deleting others' comments, and making comments of his own in their place, under those other people's names to make it appear that they are saying something they never said.
As if all that's not bad enough, they've banned yet another person from commenting, for no apparent reason. Jason Gatties is victim #3 of the so-called "anti-Communist" candidate (I'm assuming there are probably others, but those are the ones I know). The strange thing is, no one seems to know why Jason was banned.
This is a very strange situation for a candidate who claims he is keeping other candidates honest by berating them constantly.

Gene says I look like .... Rosie O'Donnell? Bwahaha!

Gene can't come up with any substantial comments about me, so he decided to insult my looks. He saw my pic on George Phillies' myspace, and said that I look like Rosie O'Donnell. The pic in question is of me and my grown son, and Gene is such a 'tard that he can't even figure out that my son isn't a female.
My nick is ElfNinosMom, and the photo shows a middle-aged woman with an attractive young man. It's not rocket science to figure out who's in that picture.
Judge for yourself. Do either of us look anything like Rosie O'Donnell? I didn't think so.
That insult was extremely lame even for you, Gene.

Chapman Campaign Pretending to be Visitors on Gene's Blog
He should have put the bong down first, though. Note the unique layout of these comments, and the fact that the layout had to be entered manually.
Comment #1:
Either the list is secret or it's public. If it is public please post a link to it. But there is no link for you to post because the list is secret. Prove me wrong. Post a link to this list that is public information.Comment #2:
I submit that this secret list is THE most valued asset that the Phillies campaign has. And that is why nobody but the Phillies campaign will ever see this list.
.
Ben Franklin | 12.19.06 - 9:03 pm |
Nice try.Comment #3:
But we all know that a list of names without mailing addresses, telephone numbers, or email adresses is for all intents and purposes basically useless.
Why not just point to the list that George has that includes telephone numbers, mailing addresses, and email addresses?
Why is it that you are not able to point to any list that is useful?
We all know that the Phillies campaign has this list with all of the useful information. Why is he hiding it from the other candidates?

Another person posting on that blog as "anon" (small "a") and "Art" is Gene's "Intelligent Design Advisor" (whose name I will not post since he's only 14), who until very recently posted under his own name. His writing style gives him away. As "anon" he repeatedly used the term "free sitemeter", and knew that Gene had banned Joey Smith due to the content of his posts, rather than for simply posting a link as Gene stated. As "Art", he slips into his old cheerleader style of post with "Thank you very much Gene Chapman. Good work!"
Here is another post by "anon", which is clearly the kid's normal writing style (i.e., thinking if he uses lots of big words it will make him look smarter, while not realizing that his poor syntax gives him away):
Gene allows anybody to comment without moderation as long as they are respectful and are not just continuously posting baseless personal attacks. Anybody that he bans he gives plenty of warning before he bans them and then he lets everybody know that that person has been banned and why that person has been banned. Doug Kenline never complains about anybody who has such an amicable and equitable reader comments policy as Gene Chapman does.I really think this kid is out of his league in trying to maintain any argument with visitors on Gene's blog, because the sharks are coming out about Gene's self-immolation attempt. Besides, he's got his hands full enough with the sharks on his own blog, with many unanswered questions from readers and promises made but not kept (for example, he promised to give proof that the Bible discusses pterodactyls). His main problem is that real scientists came out of the proverbial woodwork to challenge his completely non-scientific assertions, once they got wind of a presidential candiate having an "Intelligent Design Advisor".
anon | 12.20.06 - 12:44 pm
It is also noteworthy that the kid is posting on the Conservative President 2008 blog under the name "Worldviews Revolution", without revealing his connection to Gene. However, a quick view of the Worldviews Revolution blog reveals that the same kid is "managing editor" of that blog.
I certainly hope Gene and Doug did not put a 14-year-old homeschooled Christian child on a path to dishonesty, by encouraging him to post under more than one name on the same subject while also not disclosing his personal campaign affilation with the subject.
Gene's Christmas Message?
If you're reading this, MOG, thanks for the laughs. :-)
Gene Bans Joey Smith From Blog
The first was Frank Buckner, who Gene claims threatened him. Frank Buckner did not threaten Gene Chapman, because I remember the conversation in question.
Now, he has banned Joey Smith, a moderator at Quatloos.com:
Joey Smith got himself banned for refusing to stop his link to Quatloos, a group of IRS employees who just attacks with no reason behind them.I have never heard of any sane blogger banning somebody just for leaving a link which nobody can even see unless they click on "homepage" by their name.
gene chapman | 12.20.06 - 5:16 am |
Also, it bears stating that Quatloos is not a group of IRS employees at all. Most people there aren't any crazier about the IRS than anybody else, but they're also not dumb enough to believe there's no law which requires them to pay income tax. It's pretty funny that Gene says Quatloos attacks people without reason, since he and Doug do that to other people (especially other candidates) all the time.
Nevertheless, Joey Smith had been asking Gene questions about his past, trying to make him accountable (just like Gene does to others), and that's the real reason Gene banned him. It appears that everyone agrees with my assessment, including the person who was defending Gene.
Gene Chapman believe in censorship!followed by
I thought you were blogging for the people with unfiltered reader comments.
Why does Doug Kenline and this campaign complain so much about other candidates moderating their comments or not allowing comments when they do the same?
Do you have something to hide, Gene? We're just trying to hold our politicians accountable.
Anon | Homepage | 12.20.06 - 10:18 am |
Gene allows anybody to comment without moderation as long as they are respectful and are not just continuously posting baseless personal attacks. Anybody that he bans he gives plenty of warning before he bans them and then he lets everybody know that that person has been banned and why that person has been banned. Doug Kenline never complains about anybody who has such an amicable and equitable reader comments policy as Gene Chapman does.Of course, Doug Kenline complains about anybody who doesn't have reader comments (although of course banning people negates having reader comments), and Gene has complained repeatedly that he had been "banned" when in fact he just couldn't figure out how to leave a comment. Gene does not have an "amicable and equitable reader comments policy", especially for a presidential candidate who claims to be blogging to increase communication with the people. If he did, he wouldn't have banned anyone unless they just were posting spam.
anon | 12.20.06 - 12:44 pm |
That happened at Quatloos, too, incidentally. Gene claimed he couldn't leave a comment there, but he was never banned. Finally the registration requirement was dropped for a while, to allow even somebody as dense as Gene to post. He was specifically informed of these facts. He still never posted, but to this day he still claims he was banned.
"continuously posting baseless personal attacks"Gene specifically said that Joey Smith was banned for leaving a link, but that is obviously not the case. Joey Smith was banned for making comments that Gene didn't like.
I'm confused. Was Gene Chapman NOT institutionalized for attempting to set himself on fire? Does Gene NOT pay $30,000 in taxes per year?
How are these "baseless personal attacks"? I thought they were facts. If they are not, then please let me know. I don't remember Joey posting anything other than facts, as well. Does Gene or doesn't he support the 10th plank of the Communist Manifesto, which states: "Abolition of children's factory labor"?
How about the 6th plank: "Centralization of the means of communications and transportation in the hands of the State"?
Gene supports fuel taxes and makes his income off of public roads (centralized transportation).
Doesn't this make him part communist?
Anon | Homepage | 12.20.06 - 2:21 pm |
So much for seeing the same accountability and honesty from Gene's camp that he demands from other candidates.
Gene Admits Trying To Set Himself On Fire
They almost let me go, but I kept insisting that I'd be going right back to the IRS building to do the burn. They couldn't just let me back to go make a spectical of myself and the situation.
In South Carolina, threatening to kill yourself is technically grounds for being kept by the gov't, even for political or religious protest.
gene chapman | 12.20.06 - 1:40 pm |
Yes, Gene, threatening to set yourself on fire in public makes you a danger to yourself and others, so it is indeed grounds for being kept by the government. This is especially true if it takes them over a month to talk you out of it.

Gene's Directory Of Evil
I'm not sure where Internal Revenue Service employees fall in Gene's directory of evil. He's previously called me a Communist, as well as a Satanist. However, I think Gene believes a Satanist is more evil than a Communist, and that an IRS employee is more evil than a Satanist.
I suspect IRS employees are the highest rank in Gene's entire directory of evil, since Gene actually printed and distributed a tract called "Why IRS Employees Go To Hell When They Die". He hates the IRS so much that he even said that the parents of IRS employees will go to hell for raising evil children ("evil" assumably just because they work there).
I'm not a Communist, a Satanist, or an IRS agent, in case you were wondering.

Gene's Audioblogs
Doug says Kent McManigal is "afraid" to talk to Gene. That's not true. McManigal doesn't want to appear on Gene's show because Doug and Gene spent the entire audioblog prior to his last appearance insulting him. Nobody in their right mind would make a return appearance after being subjected to that kind of childish behavior from the Dim Duo.
Gene said that Steve Adams is probably a nice guy who might do well as a volunteer on the Chapman campaign, but that he's not a real candidate because he has never threatened to set himself on fire, like Gene has. ROFLMAO
He made some pretty insulting comments in response to Adams's statement, that Gene's cheap shot about him spending time with the kids was incorrect, because he was with his mother in the hospital, where she almost died. Gene thought that was just a sympathy ploy. What an asshole!
He and Doug talked about Phillies and Kubby, as usual. Gene said something about Phillies making a comment about the Mark of the Beast. Maybe I missed that one?
Gene says he's going to back off on insulting the other candidates, until he's in the lead. Well, he'll never be in the lead. How much you want to bet he'll start insulting people again though, especially since he couldn't even get through one audioblog without doing so?
He brought up his stay in a mental hospital, and claims it was caused by Communist aggression against Christians. No, it wasn't. It was due to Gene threatening to set himself on fire to "end the IRS".
Gene's thinking of changing his campaign slogan to something about the end of the world happening by 2018. Yeah, that won't make him look like a fanatic. LOL
He also said he might change his campaign song to "The End" by The Doors. Of course, that's the song where Jim Morrison speaks, and says he wants to kill his father and f*** his mother. That's a great idea for a presidential campaign, Gene - real family-friendly. **eyes rolling**

Gene's Fascination With Blog Polls Causes More Nastiness From Chapman Camp
Gene is usually listed under both the Libertarian poll and the Constitution Party poll. He somehow manages to get a lot of votes, although that certainly appears to be an anomaly given the extreme weirdness of his platform.
What's even stranger is how he reacts when other candidates get a lot of votes. Steve Adams, for example, gets quite a few votes. He's a Methodist minister and computer guy in Lexington, Kentucky. Yet, he has over 300 registered supporters (i.e., support from registered voters), so he has a lot more support than Gene has.
Gene has picked on Steve Adams about his blog, which Gene says shows that he can't be getting that many votes. However, Steve Adams has both a blog and a website, while Gene's blog is his website. It should therefore be no surprise that most people visit Adams's website instead of his blog. He's also upset because Adams moderates his comments. That's understandable, given that he is a minister, and he explained that he does it to make sure there's no profanity. He did let a post through from Doug, which said "Get a clue!" so obviously he isn't leaving anyone out.
Gene has an absolute hissy fit over the amount of votes Adams is getting. He previously accused Adams of using his computer expertise to cheat on the polls. Now, he condescendingly says Adams is getting votes from children, since he is a youth minister.
Here's Gene's blog statement:
Well, I found out where all the poll votes are coming from for Steve Adams. He's a youth pastor in Kentucky. So every kid in the church is hitting the polls. OK Steve, welcome to the polls and the race for President. I'll leave you alone so you can have your fun with the kids.I guess it never occurred to Gene that adults might be supportive of a youth minister. That's probably because Gene just pretends to be a minister, so he has no idea how highly people view all of their real church leaders.
I personally suspect Gene is using his job as a trucker to cheat on the polls, if anyone is cheating. He has a different IP every day, after all, since he seeks out truckstops and motels with internet access.
Of course, I don't know that Gene is cheating, any more than Gene knows that Adams is getting his votes from children.
At least Steve Adams doesn't have a 14-year-old campaign advisor. No, that's not a typo - Gene's "Intelligent Design Advisor" is a 14-year-old homeschooler who got third place in some online essay contest. I guess that's how Gene found him.
I'm not going to name the kid, because I have a feeling his involvement with Gene Chapman will come back to haunt him, and I don't want to contribute to that eventuality. In fact, I think the best thing that kid could do is get as far away from Gene as possible, while he still can. People are already cracking some very nasty jokes at the kid's expense due to his involvement with Gene. It is only going to get worse, and most people don't think twice about using the boy's full name (since it is listed on Gene's blog regularly) when referring to Gene's wackiness.
Phillies "Communist" Attack Ad
The ad is actually very good. It's definitely better than the ad Gene proposed for himself, posted earlier on this blog. Kudos to you, Jake!
What makes this ad particularly interesting for our purposes is that in it, George Phillies amusingly calls himself a "Communist". Of course, that comment is made tongue-in-cheek (since Phillies is definitely not a Communist from what I can tell), and was made for people who just can't live without political attack ads.
That's an interesting concept, to attack yourself rather than wait for your opponents to do it. Phillies is a smart guy. Jake Porter is a smart guy, too.
It bears stating again that Gene's ideas are decidedly not libertarian in nature. Quite the contrary, in fact, since his ideas seems far more communistic than those of any other candidate. I still haven't figured out why he's seeking the LP nomination (much less why he thinks he will actually be elected). Gene doesn't vote, he's not even sure he's registered to vote, and he's never been a member of the Libertarian Party. Hmmmmm .....
Anyway, here's the link to the Phillies self-attack ad. Enjoy!
New Blog: "The Chapman Challenger"
Gene wasn't very happy with that new blog being started. He blamed it on Quatloos.com. Quatloos, however, has nothing to do with any of the anti-Gene blogs (there are now three: The Deadbeat and TogaFraud Show at www.taxprotesters.blogspot.com, the Chapman Challenger at www.chapmanchallenger.blogspot.com, and of course this one).
Here's what Gene wrote:
Sounds Like Quatloose is At it AgainSo, the teaching profession is "dominated by Communists"? I'm sure that will come as a surprise to teachers, as well as to Communists.
This Conservative 2008 blog sounds like one of my IRS agents at Quatloose is attacking me from a new angle. OK hotshot, attack me. Tell the world how wrong I am. I've only been dealing with people like you since 2003 on the internet.
Everybody go watch "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington," and you'll understand the tactics of entrenched power attacking the good guy.
This guy has already twisted my words once. I never said that being a teacher was "=" to being a Communist. I said that "the teaching field is dominated buy Communist." That would be most teachers being equal to being a Communist, not all teachers. Think about it. Where do public school teachers get their pay checks? And where do those government grants come from for many private school students? -- The first, second and forth planks of "The Communist Manifesto." I read somewhere years ago that most teachers are Democrats. Well, I wonder if any of those might be "left" leaning or Communist in nature. So what is a logical person to conclude but that "the teaching profession is dominated by Communists?" I draw no distinction between a Communist who loves and lives off of one plank or ten planks of "The Communist Manifesto."
Gene Chapman
ChapmanForPresident08.com
You'll note that Gene thinks he is so important that IRS agents are not just IRS agents, they are his IRS agents. What a megalomaniac. It is important to note that the vast majority of volunteers at Quatloos don't work for the government at all. However, a lot of tax protesters believe everyone there is an IRS agent (or an FBI agent, or a CIA agent .... you get the idea). I'm not sure why they think that about Quatloos, except that perhaps it makes them feel their "cause" is important - and, by extension, that they are important - if a bunch of government agents got together to destroy their silly tin foil hat plans.
It is interesting to note that none of the blogs in question are run by "IRS agents", and I don't know why Gene thinks otherwise unless, of course, he's just being paranoid since he owes the IRS a lot of money in unpaid (and unfiled) federal income taxes. It is also interesting to note that Gene recently called me a "satanist" and "IRS agent", even though I am a United Methodist and have never worked for the government in any capacity, unless you count voluntary service in the US Air Force decades ago.
He just pulls this crap out of his rather sizeable arse, just like he does the accusations against his opponents.
At any rate, I guess Gene will be commenting on the new "Chapman Challenger" blog, as soon as he figures out how to do so. (He earlier today claimed they were not being "honest" because he wasn't allowed to post there - they responded by saying that is untrue, and he can post there since they haven't banned anybody.)
I also saw that I got a little "link love" (as Doug calls it) on the comments section of the new anti-Gene blog, from somebody named Bob. If you're reading this, Bob, I just wanted you to know I appreciate it. :-)
I guess I'll open this blog up to comments, and see what happens. It should be fun. I also finally got around to adding a web counter today. I intentionally did not use the web counter Gene's blog espouses. Why? Simple. I make it a point to never, ever do what frickin' 'tards demand of me.
UPDATE: I note that Gene has attacked the Chapman Challenger blog for using the same web counter I use. I got the idea to use this one from them, and I had a feeling this might happen since they weren't using sitemeter as Doug demands of everyone. However, if that's the best complaint Gene and Doug can come up with, against a blog devised to counter Gene's attacks against other candidates, Gene and Doug are even lamer than I thought. LOL

What If "Marlin" Brando Wore A Toga?
Important Question for Gene
"What do mean about the other candidates not having an agenda?"
Gene's Reply: Well, for example, if I get elected to the oval office, you know that it's gonna be "Apocalypse Now" with me playing the part that Marlin Brando did so well, while IRS agents will be "Charlie" (Communists in my Washington D.C. jungle). The White House will be my cave and the IRS building will be my play place.
The other candidates don't have a real stated agenda in Washington.

Gene actually looks and dresses more like Brando in "The Island of Dr. Moreau", as you will note from the photo in the upper left column of this blog.

Gene Expands on Removing Body Parts As Punishment for Crime
To lessen the suffering of inmates in long jail terms for crimes they sometimes did not even commit and protect society from the responsibility of killing people, I propose a plan to do away with the death penalty. But my plan doesn't let criminals off lightly either.
If you commit a violent crime and are convicted in a court of law, you will see your body parts, used in the commission of the crime, surgically removed, be allowed to heal and returned to society.
Yes, ladies (you often ask me), if a man rapes a woman, he loses all body parts involved in the commission of that violent crime.
If you rob a bank, consider that you walked into the bank on two legs, handed the robbery note to the teller with one hand that was held up by and connected to an arm. You may have held a pistol in the other hand that was held up by and connected to the other arm. You used your eyes to scan the room and may have given an order with your lips, tongue, teeth and jaw. That's alot to lose for bank notes.
Keep in mind that my world has no Social Security Administration, as all monies have been returned to the owners at 10% compounded interest (see my Platform Writing: L/ Private Sector Benevolence), so you will have an interesting time walking, talking, eating or even wiping your own rear end alone. And who wants to help a convicted violent criminal after your mother passes? My approach presents lots of incentive not to commit violent crime.
And repeat offenses will be a thing of the past, saving $70,000 per year, per violent inmate, while allowing America to return to a day when doors may be left unlocked day and night.
Gene Chapman
ChapmanForPresident08.com
Of course, he doesn't take into account the phenomenon of wrongful conviction, and thus the fact that innocent people will undoubtedly be subjected to this extremely barbaric form of punishment.
Then again, Gene admits his IQ is only 96, so I guess we really shouldn't expect him to understand the complexities of ... well, of anything.

Gene Admits He Might Be The Anti-Christ
Important Question for Gene
Q: "When will the world end?"
Gene's reply: My theological training indicates that "three score and ten (70) years" after the "budding of the fig tree" (the birth of Israel, which took place on March 14, 1948) "all things shall be fulfilled." That puts the Battle of Armageddon as late as 2018 and the Beast of Revelation signing the Peace Accord with Israel as a world leader by 2011.
On January 1, 2019, you can call me a liar.

Gene Chapman Caught Altering Others' Blog Comments
The original comment posted to Gene's blog was
Thank you Mr. Chapman for liking the fact that we now have the Bomb.
Yes, we are a Communist Country as you point out.
Now that we have the bomb we will force communism on others.
We will side with communist China, invade South Korea and then Japan.
Again, thank you for your kind words and lack of insight.
However, what shows up on his blog is
Thank you Mr. Chapman for liking the fact that we now have the Bomb.
Yes, we are a Communist Country as you point out.
We fear a Chapman presidency.
Again, thank you for your kind words.
Both the original and the alteration were signed "Kim Jung Il".
The person who wrote the original comment has come forward - not surprisingly, it wasn't posted by "Dear Leader" - and said in no uncertain terms that what others saw on the blog is not what was originally posted, and that it was in fact altered from what was originally posted.
It's hard to tell how many times Gene has done this, and it has gone unnoticed. I'd guess he has done it more than once, though.
Gene Congratulates North Korea On Successful Nuclear Test, Then Threatens To Kill Them; "Dear Leader" Responds
To the People of North Korea
On behalf of the Chapman Campaign for President of the United States, I wish to congratulate the people of North Korea on their successful underground test of a nuclear weapon. Under the Chapman Doctrine, I support nuclear weapons in the hands of all nation states and continued space exploration as the best temporal hopes for the survival of humanity.
Let me make clear, however, that North Korea is a Communist country, and Socialist Communism entails the enslavement of the individual to the state via income taxes, property taxes, secular public schools and the like. We pray for an end to this enslavement of the human being everywhere, including, in America.
While we wait for this day of global liberty, the people of North Korea must understand that the Chapman Administration shall view any nuclear explosion upon any human population anywhere in the world, that is deemed to be connected to North Korea, as a direct immoral and unprovocated Communist nuclear attack upon the peace-loving people of the United States. Such, would require an immediate and full U. S. nuclear response upon North Korea under the Checker Board Plan, with the intent of destroying all human, plant and animal life in North Korea within minutes of this determination.
Gene Chapman
ChapmanForPresident08.com
Of course, Gene's small mind cannot grasp the enormity of what he's saying, which is of course that the self-described "American Gandhi" is openly threatening to start World War III. After all, what does he think will happen after he annihilates an entire country? Does he think the nuclear fallout will remain only in North Korea? Does he not realize that the rest of the world will come after us?
Those are rhetorical questions, incidentally, since we all know the answer.
Someone posted to Gene's blog the following comment:
Thank you Mr. Chapman for liking the fact that we now have the Bomb.
Yes, we are a Communist Country as you point out.
We fear a Chapman presidency.
Again, thank you for your kind words.

Our Favorite Gandhi Wannabe Wants To Nuke Iraq
Oh, and he blames war in general on Muslims.
Iraq: Past, Present and Future
The Past War: As the first tracer rounds began to pepper the skies over Baghdad in 1990, I was sitting on my livingroom couch watching Cable News Network late at night. There remains, today, some dispute over whether the U. S. Ambassador gave passive approval to Iraq's attack upon Kuwait, based on an oil and border conflict between the two countries, but it was and is clear that President George H. W. Bush wanted Iraq out of Kuwait by the next morning's news headlines.
This alone should have been enough warning to Iraq that the United States would be protecting her oil interests in Kuwait, weak as that authority sounds to a person trained in theology, as I am.
Had I a time machine and could go back as President of the United States the day after Iraq invaded Kuwait, I would have:
1) evaluated whether there were any real national interest to the United States, and
2) had I found that our skies would have fallen without intervention, I would have gone on television to explain that nuclear bombs would be dropping on Iraq at 12 noon Washington D.C. time the next day, under the Checkerboard Plan of my platform. This tactic would continue until Iraq's troops were moving out of Kuwait and back to Iraq or until Iraq was a parking lot.
The Present War: The current war, had I a time machine and were the President of the United States, would have gone much the same as it did for the first few weeks, assuming all things were unchanged in and from the first Gulf War. (In other words, assuming we had a real national interest the first time around and had not withdrawn our oil dependency over the past ten years between the first and second war for something more farmer centered (i. e. bio-diesel).)
The "Weapons of Mass Destruction" charge for going to war with Iraq the second time is a moot point in my mind. The bully, Saddam, signed an agreement to stop our U.S. attacks via weapons inspections. He toyed with us and disrupted the weapons inspection process to the tune of 17 U.N. resolutions over ten years, so we resumed the attack under the agreement the bully signed.
The mistake we made in the second Iraq War was to try and fix Saddam's internal national problems after we took him out. When you kick the tail of your street's bully, you leave it kicked and go back home. You don't go into his livingroom and start trying to tell his family where to go to school, what color to paint their walls and what church to attend. If they want a civil war, that's their business, not ours.
The Future War: Until we learn to mind our own national business, the Muslims will keep on attacking us for no other reason than that we are not family to them. Some 2,700 American soldiers are dead in the second Iraq War, as of this writing, due to wars with Iraq we probably didn't even belong in, had we the vision to build up our own bio-fuel industry with American farmers and such, who are just now getting the attention they deserve.
The Muslims have been fighting and killing Hindu's and Christians, etc. since the time of its founding, like a mound of fire ants that just won't go away. If they want nuclear weapons, I'm fine with that; however, my Checkerboard plan should stay fully operational until the last Muslim walks the earth.
In fact, I believe that "Mutually Assured Destruction" (MAD) via nuclear arms in the hands of all nations is the only hope humankind has for an end to War. When is the last time a nuclear power went into direct war with another nuclear power?
Mahatma Gandhi observed that nuclear states would be foolish to fight each other, and I agree with Gandhi's observation. The great wisdom is nonviolent resolution to conflict, but humanity seems destined to full nuclear armorment before they will see the futility of war. My solution is the only practical one, I think.

Gene Wants To Start A "Libertarian Breeding Program"
It's bad enough that he talks to underage girls over motel computers, and hired a 14-year-old boy to be an "Advisor" on his campaign. Now he's looking for some good "breeders", ladies.
Hey, this is Gene. I've been working with Doug on a new plan for a Libertarian breeding program so we can win back the White House. The plan is that we will encourage women of the Libertarian Party to be pregnant as soon as possible, age 18 and up and hopefully married. But uh, we're going to encourage people to get married, encourage families in the Libertarian party to develop, to try to operate a dating service of some sort, and encourage women to start pumping out these kids as quick as possible so that we can win the White House by attrition. We want to out-breed the Republicans and Democrats. And so the mission now is to make babies until we win the White House. I'd like to see one coming out every nine months from now on. So I'll be looking forward to that. And I guess I'm looking for a wife now. So if any of you ladies are looking for a stallion to father your brood, I'm here, Doug's single as well, and we need to start working on creating the next generation of Libertarian leadership in America. Y'all be good, bye-bye.I could say more, but I think that the above speaks for itself.
Yesterday, Gene made some more comments about his extremely bizarre plan to get into the White House. Here are some quotes:
"Can you imagine the kind of interest that that would create in the political sphere if that got out that we had a Libertarian Breeding Program to outbreed the Communist Aggressors in the Demopublican Party. So I support that position."
"Everybody seems excited about the Libertarian Breeding Program, I guess we'll call it "Operation Get 'Er Done""
"If we got every womb of every woman pregnant, let's see, that would give us about 720 million babies by the time the first batch got ready to vote in 2024"
"I'm thinking we might make up some caps, we can have red for people who aren't married or aren't in a relationship and blue caps for people who are already utilized. We could have the red caps say "Available. Libertarian Breeding Project. Chapmanforpresident08.com" on the red caps and then "Libertarian Breeding Program. Utilized. Chapmanforpresident08.com" on the blue caps"
"I guess we'll get on there later today and see what the hemales and Communists look like"

Dear Communist Aggressor McCain:
As I ram up for my presidential run, I am looking forward to the hurdles you and your fellow Communists in the FEC have placed before those of us in the non-communist community.
But to the point, as your leader, Karl Marx, seeks the utter destruction of individual liberty to the enslavement of the same, I can never trust the Demopublican Communist Party, the perverse marriage of the Democrats and Republicans, to seek honor with those of us in the non-communist world of thought. But it is my hope that some lost memory of your youth might remind you of fairness and cause you to open debate access to those of us presidential candidates that have sufficient ballot access in the 2008 election to be able to win the Oval Office, were the votes present.
This Debate Fairness Doctrine should be adopted at all debate levels, as we in the non-communist community deserve to be heard too, else your brand of Pilot Bureau Democracy is made into an open lie for all the world to see. Thus, I expect to see the Libertarian Party, Constitution Party and any other group with sufficient ballot access to win the given seat present at the given debate.

On the bright side, maybe this means Gene will wear his toga to the protest. That's always good for a few laughs.

I don't see that they are running presidential candidites yet on the LP site, but they talked up Kubby, so they are gonna talk me up too. I'm the American Gandhi; who is Kubby?

Gene Wants To Be Our Benevolent (Yet Violent) Dictator
NESARA was never passed, incidentally. As an interesting side note, however, NESARA has been turned into an elaborate scam, much to the chagrin of the organization which still promotes Dr. Barnard's ideas.
Let's review the Second Amendment, shall we?Just a short time before the passing of Dr. Harvey Bernard, the renown author of the National Economic Stabilization and Recovery Act (nesara.org), I had the profound honor of having breakfast with him one Sunday morning outside of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. His lips already turning deep blue from the heart troubles he was having, he shared with me that Congressman Sonny Bono pulled him into a hotel room shortly before his own death to meet with several other congressmen to discuss Dr. Bernard's ideas about restructuring America's government.
Dr. Bernard explained to me that he believed, and told the congressmen, that what was most essential in cutting the Vine of Communism from the Tree of Liberty was a short time, perhaps a few months, with a "benevolent dictator" at the head of American Government. The issue of whether I fit this mold of the "benevolent dictator" came up, but I quickly moved the conversation to other things, as I was too shocked to consider the idea at the time.
As I reflect back on our breakfast conversation, I have grown less shocked over time at the ideas Dr. Bernard espoused and realize now that what he proposed was both constitutional under the purpose and function of the 2nd Amendment and practical in getting the Communist Aggressor under control.
You will never elect kudzu out of a forest; it has to be chopped out, and that is what the 2nd Amendment is designed to allow on a governmental level. The 2nd Amendment does not require a violent revolution, but it does provide for a restart to our Constitutional Republic from non-violence up to civil war. This non-violent agenda of mine is why I propose to enact The Chapman Revolution only upon a popular vote victory in all 50 states.
Gene Chapman
ChapmanForPresident08.com
A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.Gene is clearly proposing armed revolution, under his sole command, even though he says it is a "non-violent agenda". Armed revolution is hardly nonviolent. Bear in mind, this is the same guy who wanted to start his own armed militia, while pretending to be the reincarnation of Gandhi. He has been under surveillance by the FBI for years, because they consider him to be dangerous. He tried to set himself on fire to "end the IRS". He threatened to commit "The Samson Solution" on Washington, DC (to recap, Samson's solution was to collapse a government building, killing everyone inside). I could go on and on, but you can read this blog for yourself and see what kind of attention-getting crap he's been pulling for years now.
If the idea of this guy being President doesn't scare you, I don't know what will.
Gene Lies Again
Chapman Asks Phillies to Withdraw from Presidential Race
Dear Mr. Phillies:It is clear to me that you are unarmed for the issue that will be central to the 2008 election presidential race. That issue has been made clear by Arron Russo's film, "America: Freedom to Fascism," Bob Schulz's work and mine too.
As you read my "About Gene" section on my blog, you can quickly gather that challenging high level people in their most fundamental views has been common for me since age 19. I'm now 40. You seem like a nice man, and I don't want you to be humilliated in a debate or in some other setting with me, so I'm asking you to withdraw from the race for President of The United States as a jesture of friendship.
Your obvious payment of the income tax and support for it will be exploited on even a moral level by me. Please stop this and join my campaign, and I'll find a nice hand shaking job for you.
What the Libertarian Party needs now is a junk yard dog in the face of the Communist Aggressors in Washington D.C. and at the IRS. I am proven to go for the throat of the biggest boys on the block, including Pope John Paul II in 1986 and 1987. Let it go, George. Let the big man fight the giant.
Respectfully,Gene K. Chapman, 2008 U.S. Presidential Candidate
ChapmanForPresident08.com
Where to start, where to start .....
The only way Gene is a "big man" is in the undeniable fact that he is fat. The guy has a gut that sticks out so much you could park a plate on it and use it as a table. I guess you could say he's a big fat liar.
Okay, I decided to start with a cheap shot that time. That's payback for all the cheap shots and outright insults Gene and his sidekick Dougie decided to hurl at opponent Kent McManigal on an audioblog, when they already knew Kent was nice enough to agree to go onto their stupid audioblog show the next day. They had that one coming, plus some. You don't treat nice people like dirt.
Anyway ....
Sure, it's a "jesture" of friendship. That's why Gene immediately insults Phillies over and over again. What a jerk. Can you even imagine this guy being a real minister, like he claims to be? Of course not. No real minister would act like Gene acts, unless of course they are some kind of weirdo wannabe cult leader. But, that's an observation for another post altogether.
There is no way on earth (or anywhere else in the universe) that Gene stands the chance of a snowball in Hades of humilitating George Phillies during a debate. It just simply will never happen except in Gene's overactive imagination. After all, that's pitting a truck driver with a stated IQ of 96 (Gene) against a college professor with a doctorate in physics (Phillies).
Looking into Gene's thought processes is kinda scary though, isn't it?
It's just a matter of time before he makes another "jesture" and asks the other candidates to drop out, even though he has no chance whatsoever of getting even a single delegate vote. Who knows where this guy gets his ideas. I sure don't, and I'm not sure I want to know since I like to live in a little thing I call "reality".
Here, from Gene's main blog, is his comment about the protest against the Pope:
Under God's hand, I led to a Scriptural defeat of a visit of Pope John Paul II to South Carolina in 1987 at age 20. They called this young preacher, "a revisitation of Martin Luther," as 600,000 people followed my theological lead.
Gene Explains What He Will Do As Dictator of the United States of America, Incorporated
The Chapman Revolution
Should I gain the popular vote in all 50 states, I shall declare myself the "Sole Representative of the Sovereign Will of the American People" for a period of 9 months after my inauguration.I shall immediately, under the authority, purpose and function of the 2nd Amendment, sign legislation bringing all laws under my immediate control for this 9 month period, while we clean up our problems in America.
I shall then return all Social Security monies paid in to their owners plus 10% compounded interest, in accordance with my platform. I shall then declare all debts, public and private, paid in full, ending the National Debt and the past and current enslavement of America's children to debt service.
I shall then implement the remainder of the domestic side of my 26 point platform, dove-tailing it into the U. S. Constitution, return powers on October 20, 2009 at 12 noon Eastern Time and serve out the remainder of my four year term as President of The United States of America at the 9 month deadline.

It appears that Gene has never read the Constitution, which clearly sets forth the three branches of government. It's set up that way for a reason, and he's a very good example of that reason.
At least now we know why Gene calls everybody a Communist. He must be looking into a mirror when he makes comments like that.

Gene Explains (and Misspells) Self-Immolation
D/ Right to Die
I am often kindly scolded by some folks for my view that an individual should be free to take their own life, if they feel the need. Even Jesus Christ, the most respected thinker in American culture stated, "No man taketh [my life] from me. I have power to lay it down . . ." (John 10:18). Even Jesus utilized self emolation to martyr himself, if we are to take him at his words.
Self emolation is often confused with autocremation, but self emolation includes a whole host of self martyrdom options that autocremation does not. Self Emolation includes options like fasting to death, throwing one's self to the cold and throwing one's self to the wild animals (or wild humans in Christ's situation). It may also include burning one's self in the face of evil rather than yielding to it.
I've utilized self emolation nonviolent force tactics in one form or another on many occasions againt the Communist Aggressors at the Internal Revenue Service and may well do it again. When I fasted, they ignored me in a way, while trying to buy off my confidence in order to stop the fast. Eventually, I realized that the Government has a series of tactics designed to stop fasts when they get too close to top officials or too close to the end for their comfort. But when autocremation hit my front burner (pun intended), the Government went into high gear to keep me from the front of Federal Buildings and IRS Buildings by hauling me off to mental hospitals for evaluation to try to discredit my work the best they could via points 38 and 39 of "The Communist Goals."
They never found anything wrong with me other than that I was highly dedicated to my views of shutting down the IRS. But I think such self martyrdom tactics should be viewed with respect in Western Culture anyway. They are consistent with Christ's tactics, after all.
Concerning the ill taking their own life, I am forced to Proverbs 31:6, being trained in Christian theology, as I am. (In a nation where 82% of the people profess faith in Christ, I am always called upon to put out the theological view, it seems.) It states, "Give strong drink to him that is ready to perish." The idea is that when your world is falling apart and life's end is the last option, get loaded on some (liquid in this case) drug and ride it on out high as a kite. Who am I to say how high or drugged a person needs to be? If you feel the need to drug yourself even unto death, I see no opposition to it in Christian theology.
And as a Libertarian, I support the right of an informed adult to ingest anything they wish without Government intervention. However, I want to make clear that I do not support a culture that presumes that this or that person, because of age or health condition, etc., should be expected or obligated to take their own life either.
Gene Chapman
ChapmanForPresident08.com
I could go on to explain the truth behind his self-immolation attempt, but I've already done that on this blog. Instead, I offer two quotes from Gene, made during his involuntary stay in the psychiatric hospital:
"The doctor is on board with all my beliefs, except the self-immolation stuff"and
"The doctor doesn't think I'm crazy, he just thinks I have an alternate reality"Think about those statements for a moment. Need I say more?

Gene Does Audioblog With Opponent Kent McManigal
Of course, Gene is a tax denier who's been in big trouble with the IRS for years. McManigal opposes taxes, but he pays them and says he has had no problems with the IRS. McManigal didn't know who any of the tax protest movement leaders were, even though Gene and Doug named them, with the sole exception of Irwin Schiff (which is not surprising, since he lives out west and Schiff was in Vegas).
McManigal has owned a pet store, a "mountain man store" where he sold leather goods and such, and worked framing original artwork for Manhattan galleries. McManigal is 43.
Gene asked him about Communists, which is not surprising since Gene seems to think everybody is a Communist. McManigal believes there are only authoritarians and libertarians, and doesn't care what other labels are used (or, assumably, whether Gene calls them a Communist). McManigal used to be a Republican, until 6 or 7 years ago when he became a Libertarian.
McManigal got into how religious people try to get other people to go along with their thoughts and beliefs, and said he opposes that and tries to avoid it. Gene didn't say much about that, not surprisingly, since that's exactly what he wants to do as President, and he and Doug quickly changed the subject.
Doug and Gene then brought up Gene's idea of requiring politicians to blog, by law. Kent McManigal said he doesn't believe in requiring politicians to blog. In fact, he specifically said he doesn't believe in forcing anybody to do anything. He thinks if politicians don't do what you want, you just don't vote for them again (duh, Gene). The only exception to McManigal's mind is when politicians don't follow the Constitution, therefore breaking their oath of office, and then they should be removed from office. Of course, Doug got all indignant that McManigal didn't go along with his "blogging for the people" idea. McManigal said he doesn't trust politicians to tell the truth, so what they said even if they had a blog needed to be checked out. Is it possible he has read this blog, and realized that Gene doesn't tell the truth on his own blog? LOL
McManigal had no questions for Gene, but has read Gene's blog (which makes his comment about religion particularly significant).
McManigal doesn't view other Libertarian candidates as opponents. However, McManigal would like to hear Doug Stanhope debate Gene, because Stanhope is a comedian. He said he'd like to hear Gene's reactions. (Hey, so would I.)
McManigal said the third parties getting together, as Gene wants, is like herding cats.
Gene brought up his religion again. McManigal said any government strong enough to promote Gene's religion today is strong enough to ban it tomorrow. He is absolutely right.
Then, out of the blue, Gene brought up the Crocodile Hunter and his death. No one knows why, since it was completely irrelevant to the conversation. However, apparently he was watching it on television while talking on the phone, and is unable to think about two things at once.
Then Gene and Doug asked McManigal what he thought about 9/11, since Gene has a "9/11 Advisor" who thinks the US government attacked its own soil, and McManigal replied, "what about it?" McManigal said the WTC was a terrorist strike, but the Pentagon was not strictly terroristic since it struck against the government and not innocent civilians. He has read about the theories that the government caused it, but said that it doesn't make sense because people would be coming out by now and telling what they know. He said all the conspiracy theories that the government did it are simply proof that people no longer trust the government.
Overall, I get the impression that McManigal is a very nice guy with a good head on his shoulders, a grasp of the issues, and is clearly a LOT more intelligent than Gene Chapman. Gene shouldn't be having these "debates", because he just makes himself look even more incompetent.
My score: McManigal 10, Gene 0 (minus one, if you include him bringing up Crocodile Hunter).

Gene Compares Phillies to Castro
Fidel Casto Hasn't Attacked Me Either
Gene Chapman Radio Hour "Phillies is not the Cream of the crop, just a physics professor."
Has George attacked you, or your profession? I worked for two years as a custodian, and George has never attaced me for it.
Jake Porter
Gene's reply: George has ignored me. That's the ultimate insult, as every third party candidaite who has ever been denied ballot access or debate access has known that I'm right on target. If your not a blogger with comments, you're the enemy of Liberty in my book.
You think Fidel Castro has a blog with reader comments? I've checked. He doesn't! I know Bay of Pigs Veterans (friends of mine in Little Havana) who saw their fellow soldiers die in that invasion because Castro didn't have a way to be called into check by the people. I'm calling Phillies to walk away from Tyranny by starting a blog of his own with reader comments.
Gene Chapman
ChapmanForPresident08.com
And Gene is just a guy who lies a lot. So, what's his point, and why is somebody running for President blathering on and on about blogs? I don't get it. Like I said before, Gene likes to insult George Phillies just because he can, but his insults don't usually make sense. First, Gene insults Phillies for being a physics professor in one of his pathetic audioblogs. Now, he says he's mad at George because George ignored him. Boo-hoo. Gene seems to overlook the not-insignificant fact that Phillies is also a third-party candidate.
Come to think of it, that is pretty funny - a third-party candidate who is ignored even by other third-party candidates.
Gene's contact with that little thing called "reality" seems to be getting weaker and weaker. It won't be long before he's completely off the deep end again, threatening "The Samson Solution" on the Internal Revenue Service. Problem is, this time he's madder at George Phillies than he is at the IRS, so George Phillies needs to be careful.

The (Phillies Campaign) Empire Strikes Back!
Phillies Alludes to My "P" Platform Point
Phillies states:
"That is an open electronic discussion site for all libertarians. It’s not a blog site where an elect few write essays and the masses get to comment. It is open to everyone. My campaign bought the advertising to pay for the site."
Reply: The "elect few" at my blog are involved in informing the "masses" about our activities. We are not acting like we are talking to the masses and dodging the "masses" in the process, and our written blog activities are absolutly free, a good use of campaing funds. Under the Phillies approach, we must assume that if I buy a piece of ground in Oregon and let whomever go there to talk about my campaign, I will have done a good job for my campaign. I reject this assumption. Blogs with comments allow the "masses" to come to one place and interact with the principal consistently.
I used to think Phillies would make a good addition to the American Libertarian University faculty, but I'm concerned that his thought process is lacking after this last post of his.
Gene Chapman
ChapmanForPresident08.com
I'm not sure why Gene thinks George Phillies is lacking thought processes. After all, Phillies is an MIT-educated physics professor. Physicists must by definition have extraordinarily good thought processes. On the other hand, the fact that Gene would assume that comment to be about him brings his own thought processes into question.
Jake Porter seems to be George Phillies's webmaster, and he responded to Gene's newest bizarro diatribe. I think he's getting more than a little sick and tired of the Doug and Gene Show, and I can't say I blame him since they regularly take cheap shots at Phillies just because they can (and most of those cheap shots don't even make sense).
Gene,
George did not allude to anything you or Doug have wrote on this blog. I believe he was alluding to Hammer of Truth (which I at one time wrote for), Small Gov., etc. and not a blog of any other Presidential candidate.
The purpose of Liberty For America is to give every Libertarian in the country a chance to build the Libertarian Party, not the ego of George Phillies. The liberal Democrats have effectively used the website Daily Kos to gain large amounts of donations, and volunteers for campaigns. Libertarians should be provided the same opportunity and the Phillies 2008 campaign have provided them that opportunity.
Liberty For America is not only there to allow others to talk about our Presidential campaign, it is there to allow Libertarians to interact and build the party.
One goal of the Libertarian Party nominating a Presidential candidate is to build the party. As you can see from our website, we have provided Libertarian candidates across the country with radio ads, and a site (Liberty For America) so Libertarians can interact with each other and build the party. Doug was able to find the test audio our webmaster created, why didn’t he link to the campaign radio ads our campaign have created? We have about seven radio ads currently on the Phillies 2008 website.
Here is a link to one of the radio ads we will be using. We have two more that will be posted soon.
Also Liberty For America has user comments and users can write their own posts. You claim that users cannot comment on Liberty For America.
Now onto a few other claims you and Doug have been making. First, I want evidence that George has said he wants Americans to be forced to pay property taxes? Where does George say he wants Americans to have a permit to carry weapons?
George is not at this time interested in debating, but building. We could debate all day long, but how does that build the Libertarian Party. It is not that George does not like you, or that he is afraid of you. We are trying to build the Libertarian Party. I hope you join us in building not attacking.
Jake Porter | Homepage | 08.29.06 - 7:47 am | #
I think I like Jake Porter.
Then, Gene decides to comment. As usual, he twists around everything that was just written and makes it fit his own agenda.
Gene's reply: Thanks to Mr. Phillies for the reply via his blog manager. I am happy to see that "George" doesn't want to force us to pay property taxes or that he wants Americans to have a permit to carry a weapon. This is how we build the Libertarian Party and reputation for the world to see and follow: we more prominent members talk to each other infront of the world about our views.
Does "George" want Americans to pay an income tax? What does he mean when he says he thinks a President should "pay his taxes?"
Why is Mr. Phillies in opposition to Hammer of Truth? I think they are good bloggers. Gene Chapman
I have no idea why Gene keeps putting Phillies' name in parenthesis. I also don't think it's a mystery as to why Phillies would say that people need to pay their taxes. I do believe that means he thinks people need to pay their taxes. LOL
It's hilarious that Gene refers to himself as a "prominent member" of the Libertarian Party, though. According to the websites I have reviewed, only a handful of Libertarians have ever heard of Gene and, of those, only one has had anything positive to say about him. Most pretend like he doesn't even exist. Only 15 people showed up for Gene's big presidential campaign announcement, where he raised a whopping 130 bucks (less than ten bucks a head). Worse, most of those people who showed up are easily recognizable as being associated with his campaign (Doug, Clarkson, the doctoral candidate kid, RW Moore, etc). Still, Gene declared that announcement a "hit".
The Libertarians need to distance themselves from Gene as soon as they possibly can.

Doug Opens Mouth, Inserts Foot
Kubby Enters LP Presidential RaceAn impressive list of candidates have been lining up to compete for the Libertarian Party’s 2008 Presidential nomination. And it’s only 2006!
Activist George Phillies, Comedian Doug Stanhope, and now you can add Steve Kubby to that list. Kubby is best known as a fighter for marijuana legalization who has spent time in prison for using the substance to treat his medical condition. He served as the California Libertarian Party’s 1998 gubernatorial candidate, earning 73,823 votes or 0.88%.
No mention of Gene Chapman. Don't miss the reader comments.
Read more here.
Posted by Doug Kenline.
So, I followed Doug's directions and read the reader comments, expecting to find some real jewels of wisdom. Guess what I found?
Maybe one of these guys could make a great Libertarian VP candidate.
I hope we have some more people step forward. I would like the choices to be a lot deeper. There is also two other people who are running.Gene Chapman and Christine Smith.
At this point, Doug posted Gene's website address. Most people were still completely ignoring Gene's name being mentioned, until the following:
I’m not a Stanhope supporter, but all the people you named above, besides Ed, would be much worse of an emberessment.
Then, the same illiterate who first brought up Gene's name posted:
I eat Breakfast this past Sunday with Gene Chapman,he seemed like a great guy.
Then, someone who had obviously given more than a quick glance to Gene's website posted the following:
Hi everybody. I don’t usually comment on websites but I have a question. I looked up the Gene Chapman url posted here. The whole site looks like it’s just a free blog. His platform has some very violent old testament stuff in it and talks about communists a lot. He says he is Gandhi and there is a picture of him wearing Gandhi clothes. He says he is a slave and it looks like he is suing the government over the mark of the beast and slavery. It also looks like he is running for nomination by a bunch of third parties.
This is my question. Does anybody know if that website is just a joke? Thanks.
That post received the following response:
Gene Chapman didn’t even know anything about the process for gaining the LP’s nomination… sorry, but when you have to post on blogs finding out how to run for President, you’re a joke.
Clearly, I am not the only person who thinks Gene Chapman is a joke. I'll keep following Doug's advice, and watch those reader comments, LOL.

Another Libertarian Presidential Bid
Steve Kubby Announces Bid For President
SEATTLE -- Steve Kubby announced his candidacy for the Libertarian Party nomination for President to more than 50,000 cheering fans on Sunday, August 20, at the 15th annual Seattle Hempfest in Seattle, Washington. More than 150,000 attended the event held in Myrtle Edwards Park on the shores of Puget Sound.
50,000 people showed up to cheer this guy's Presidential bid. Gene will be lucky to have five show up. At this point, it should be obvious even to Gene that he stands no chance of getting the nomination.
Gene Blames the Colombine Massacre On Marxists
B 10/ Columbine Was a Symptom of a Marxist Problem
A few years ago, two young men took a host of weapons into Columbine High School in a Colorado town and caused the worst school killing spree in American history. Being church and university educated for the Christian ministry from my late teens through my late twenty's, I submit that this would never have happened in a Christian school setting where all the kids had been raised from first grade on to believe that they were more than a Darwinian accident planned to live through life in a Marxist slave society by our Communist Aggressor government.
What I do know as fact is that my own Secular Public High School (10th Plank of "The Communist Manifesto") days were filled with the struggle over public prayer at football games when I came through the Commuinst Institutionalization process in the 1980's. Bible reading in public school was long past by the time I came through, and you could feel the difference between a Christian school campus and a Communist school campus. The Commuinst school was cold and anticeptic of human emotion, while the Christian school grounds were human and inviting. The "creator" in the "Declaration of Independence" could not be discussed by teachers in my Communist school days in Texas, I remember. (A couple of years after public high school, I went back to see my old favorite teacher, and I was asked to leave the classroom because I spoke of Jesus Christ being raised from the dead as being a "credible historical event" that I'd studied in Bibe College.)
Two of my friends in public high school killed themselves from the dispair of life in that hopless moral vacume. And six kids from Plano, Texas, a couple of towns over killed themselves one year, as I remember. What we lacked was divine purpose, love, mercy and second chances from the Communist Public Schools. Notice that I've just presented several moral constructs. Karl Marx told us that his intent in the Secular Public School was to "abolish . . . all morality" (p. 242, "The Communist Manifesto," Penguin Classics Edition).
Thankfully, Micro-biology, around since the mid 1980's, is finding that life is too complex on the micro level to have evolved from other things, making Darwinian Marxism moot to the younger scientists coming up. Thankfully, the fossil bone record has gaping holes in it that are discrediting Evolution to the pages of the Fiction section in libraries across America. High level astronomers are concluding in droves that the universe had a beginning, requiring a Beginner. Intelligent Design is kicking Darwinism and therefore Marxism, reliant upon Darwinism, to the curb.
What we must do is finish the job by closing the Secular Public School System. This will allow a great deal of waisted property taxes, now utilized in Public Schools to teach the religion of Secular Humanist Socialist Communism, to be put back into the hands of parents, who can then afford to set up their own school settings for their children K-12.
Gene Chapman
ChapmanForPresident08.com
I hate to tell Gene this, but Microbiology has been around a lot longer than the 1980s. Bacteria was first observed by Antony van Leeuwenhoek in the late 1600s. Furthermore, anyone who didn't sleep through elementary school science class is well aware of the advances of Louis Pasteur (early 1800s).
I'm going to be deadly serious for once, because Gene is grossly misleading others with this statement about teenage crime and the causes thereof. I read this several times, and I still don't understand why Gene thinks Colombine is a symptom of Marxist ideals. Colombine was caused by some teenagers who been picked on mercilessly by their schoolmates (a situation which has existed since time immemorial, both in secular and religious schools) and tragically those particular boys decided to take deadly vengeance against those they viewed as their tormentors. Honestly, I'm surprised that type of deadly situation didn't happen long before Colombine, given the other contributing factors (easy access to firearms, etc).
In recent years, teenage suicide has reached epidemic proportions. This has nothing to do with church, or the lack thereof. Our society has become one in which there are too many latchkey kids, too little adult involvement in the lives of children, too many kids on drugs; and too much exposure to adult topics with which they are not prepared to deal, which in turn results in a sense of hopelessness. The church does not change this, and I state that from the viewpoint of someone who has been involved in the church since childhood, and who raised my own son in the church. Only the individuals involved can change it and, more often than not, the teenagers don't tell anyone what they are thinking, so no one realizes there's a serious problem until it's too late. That's true whether it's drugs, violence, or anything else. Anyone who has ever raised teenagers knows this. Gene has never raised a teenager, so once again he's discussing a topic with which he has no experience, and no firm basis for his beliefs.
Marxism (and what he calls "Socialist Communism") are just Gene's version of the Boogie Man, which is why he blames everything he doesn't understand on those factors. What he proposes - that there be no secular public schools - doesn't and can't solve the underlying issues, which are societal, not religious. Furthermore, Gene doesn't seem to understand that freedom of religion means that people have the right to not believe, as well as the right to believe. Many of our Founding Fathers - as well as many scientists - were/are theists . In other words, they believe(d) there is a creator, but that the creator does not intervene in humankind's problems. Many Christians are theists. If they weren't, they'd just depend on God to fix everything, rather than doing something themselves to change the plight of humankind.

Another Person Throws Their Hat Into The Libertarian Presidential Nomination Race
"Christine is a writer, author, social justice activist, singer, and an aspiring model and actress. Also, she is seriously considering entering politics."
Okey-dokey, Christine. Well, when you run for President of the most powerful country in the world, I should hope that you are doing more than "considering entering politics".
It will be interesting to see what Gene has to say about this. I wonder if he'll think she and I are the same person? After all, we're both redhaired female professional writers (although my work is clearly a lot more serious than hers in nature).
She seems like a nice enough lady, but we are indeed two very different people who have never even crossed paths.

Doug and the Boston Tea Party
Boston Tea Party Tax Position
The Boston Tea Party calls for legislation adopting an annual, regularized increase in the personal exemption to the federal income tax of $1,000 or more, and the additional application of said personal exemption to all FICA/Social Security taxes paid by employees and employers.
Sounds like they need a little bit of education on the federal income tax. We'll get Gene to straighten them out on the audioblogs down the line here.

How To Alienate The Libertarian Party by Doug Kenline
Libertarian Party Blog
Zero audioblogs from the leadership at the Libertarian Party blog. You guys afraid to talk on the telephone or something? What's going on? How did the meeting go this weekend in Denver? Audioblogs can be done impromptu and off the cuff. No need to wait to get back to the office and have time to think up some kind of spin to put on it. Let's get some daily audioblogs going over there. They are also hiding their traffic stats from the people. What else are they hiding from the people? Let's get a sitemeter on there and let the people see what kind of traffic you are getting.
Posted by Doug Kenline.
Doug, people don't like listening to audioblogs, because they can read much faster than they can listen to two people talking.
Rather than insulting the Libertarian Party for not carrying audioblogs and not having a site meter (and suggesting that they're trying to do something questionable just because they don't play by your rules) why don't you take a hint from the people who actually know what they're doing, and stop putting audioblogs on Gene's blog?
Or, you can keep posting statements like this one, and I can keep making fun of you. I can go either way.
Gene Talks About Polygamy
E/ State Sanctioned Marriage
I am at a loss to understand why America, a nation with a 1st Amendment protection of religion would even try to attack polygamy, as they are now doing in Utah against Fundamentalist Mormons. A group of children of polygamous families in Utah has been protesting the Government's attacks upon their parents this past week. They call themselves, "Principled Voices of Polygamy."
As President of The United States, I will be aggressive in my protection of 1st Amendment religious rights of our citizens, unlike the Communist Aggressors in power now. I will work to challenge and overturn the Utah constitutional provision making polygamy a felony crime.
On a theological note, one of my Religion professors at Baylor University in 1993 made a challenge to our class that if any of us could find a place in the Bible where polygamy was done away with, we could gain an extra "A" in the class. We never found it, and a lot of preachers I've interacted with through the years will tell you behind closed doors that there is no place in the Bible where polygamy is done away with. There are only a couple of provisions for Bishops and deacons to be the "husband of one wife." Nothing more is found in opposition to polygamy.
The Government has no business trying to define marriage as the union between one man and one woman, anyway. Marriage already includes the marriage of one king and 700 wives (King Solomon). Let people alone to use their unlimited ability to contract without Government intervention.
If people can find a church that wants to unify gay people, so what. If some churches don't want to sanction gay unions, then let them live it their way. The Government should leave people alone. We live in a Post-Christian Era that is pluralistic in nature, and we Christians are gonna have to get used to this fact, as long as the Secular Public Schools are in place (10th Plank of "The Communist Manifesto").

How interesting that, in his Bible class in a Baptist university, they never covered the part of the Bible which states that homosexuality is an "abomination". After all, Baptists are some of the biggest homophobes you will ever encounter.
Any woman who would agree to her husband having multiple wives probably should have her head examined, and any man who wants more than one wife should have his head examined too. But, like I said, Gene is apparently running for President to pick up women, based on his statements, so I guess it's no surprise that he would think polygamy is a good idea.
This is not the first time he's brought this up, either. He's discussed it on his other blogs before. I get the distinct impression that Gene - who can't even hold onto one wife - would like to have more than one wife. That's probably because he's a pervert just pretending to be a minister.
Gene Asks Stupid Questions, and Gets A Very Blunt Response
You shouldn't be running for the presidental nomination of the Libertarian Party if you have to ask these questions publicly. I won't embarrass you by answering at HoT. I already spent some time in the past week helping another possible LP presidential nominee who was oblivious to LP internal operations.
delegates 2006: see http://www.lpconvention.org/ dele...delegates.shtml
delegates 2008: to be determined by state conventions, probably in 2008. The number got reduced by convention action in 2006. I don't recall the exact formulas (based on LP membership and presidential vote totals in the last presidential election), but the number of eligible delegates is reduced from about 1300 to about 1000, to make it easier to locate a suitable venue for the convention (also, many states don't send a full delegation). Only about 300 actually showed up in Portland for the 2006 convention.
The date and location for the LP 2008 presidential nominating convention hasn't been determined yet. The Libertarian National Committee (basically our board of directors) is meeting in Denver this weekend to consider this issue and possibly form a committee; Denver is in the running to host and has a reception tomorrow evening to mark the 35th anniversary of the LP, born in Colorado in December 1971. See
http://lpcolorado.blogs.com/ lpco...ibertarian.html with link to the meeting agenda (it used to be on the front page of the LP website but has scrolled off and I couldn't locate it quickly).
--from a Colorado delegate to the LP 2006 convention. I should be working on my own campaign website, not helping novice presidential candidates.

Gene Actually Thinks Somebody Would Want To Steal His Identity
My Grades Are Coming In
My grades from Tabernacle, DBU and Baylor are in. I'm still needing to mail out requests to the test center in Irving, Texas that my opponents like to attack me over and one other college.
I have been asked by Baylor not to distribute my transcripts, given that I am a public figure now and that people do need some way to prove they are who they say they are over their lifetime. By reserving my transcripts for private viewing only, I can both provide them to interested parties while protecting my identity from being stolen. If you need to see my grades, I'll be happy to come to you and show you all you would like to see.
Gene Chapman
The transcripts are his, and he can do with them as he wants. There is no reason why he can't redact his social security number, after all. I suspect Gene just wants to find out who his detractors are, and where his detractors live. No one in their right mind would allow that kind of information be released to a diagnosed delusional, especially when he is already being monitored by the FBI because they think he's dangerous.
He seems to think he has risen to some sort of national prominence, which could not be further from the truth. He's just some loon who decided to run for President of the United States of America, Incorporated. The only reason he's a public figure is because he has a years-long track record of bringing attention to himself. Of course, being a public figure also means he no longer is afforded the same protections as a private citizen. He should have thought that through a lot better, given the number of his critics.
I just don't think he has to worry about anybody stealing his identity, since you'd have to be nuts to steal the identity of somebody who owes the IRS tens of thousands of dollars in back taxes.
Gene Calls His Opponent A "Communist"
Concern About Mr. Phillies
I recently read that Mr. Phillies, my opponent in the Libertarian Party primary, said that we should pay our taxes. I propose that any political official who says that we should be paying property taxes, income taxes, Social Security taxes or the like is a Communist. I hope this is not true.
I've fasted 30 days in front of Gov. Bob Riley's office in 2003 (see: August and September, 2003 archives at slavefreedom.com) in opposition to his proposed income tax and property tax increase in Alabama to fund the Secular Public School System. I'm not backing down on this issue and neither should any real American!
Gene Chapman
Real Americans pay their taxes, because the law says they have to pay them. Problem is, Gene thinks there is no law which requires taxes. Well, at least he used to think that, then he went off on his pseudo-religious tangent when that original ploy didn't work. I'm sure when the present plan falls through (and it will), he'll come up with yet another loony excuse for not paying taxes.

Gene Finally Finds This Blog & Thinks It's Here Because I Take Him Seriously, Hehehe
No Reader Comments on Opposition Blog
Today, I found an opposition blog that I figured might show up, if I were worth the effort. I'm flattered to see ChapmanForPresident.blogspot.com/
This is not my site, and I left the domain name open on purpose, Miss. Opponent, to see if I were worthy of an opponent. Now, when I see some comments allowed on this blog, I'll be happy to address your attacks upon me further.
Gene Chapman
P.S. Where is it found that an I.Q. of 96 is low? I was told without reservation that 95 is right dead center of average. Are you sure you are using the right standard?
And do you have anything on aptitude testing, wherein I was found to be at "genius level," according to the tester? You propose to be informed, so I'm interested in your thoughts.
Thanks for the link, Gene, but you certainly have no reason to feel flattered. The sole purpose of this blog is to present your lies (and the corresponding truth) in a manner which is both informative and humorous.
I don't have reader comments on this blog because there's no reason for them. After all, it's just the other side of the proverbial coin from your blogs (which also don't have comments, with the exception of your "presidential blog"), because some of us believe in telling people the truth when wannabe politicians lie. And I have to say, you have told some real whoppers. Besides, I figure the only people who would post here anyway are your fellow wingnuts, and I make it a point to never have a battle of wits with unarmed opponents. It's cruel, because you have no chance of winning.
Besides, Dougie prefers to go back and forth between blogs for your "blogospheric presidential debate", so I decided I'd play since none of the other candidates take you seriously enough to be bothered with you. Are you having fun yet?
I already posted numerous questions on your blog, and you failed to answer almost all of them. Even when you did answer, most of the time it was a non-answer. That being the case, why would I post anything else? Your blog is just there for my neverending amusement at this point in time. If you wanted to be taken seriously by people like me (i.e., smart people), you should have answered the questions posed to you.
Insofar as average IQ is concerned, all you have to do is google "average IQ", and you will find that it is universally accepted that 100 is by definition "average". Besides, anyone with an above-average level of intelligence already knows that. Insofar as your tester allegedly saying you were "genius", I got that directly from your blog. Learn to read for comprehension, Gene. Are you now saying that the tester never told you that you tested at genius level in any area?
Here's the quote from your blog:
What the man showed me next was that I rated very high in deductive reasoning skills and four areas of musical aptitude. He reported to me that these areas were the aptitude equivalent of "genius" (his words, not mine).
Yet, despite the fact that you lie constantly and have only a 96 IQ, you want us to believe that you left this url open on purpose. Yeah, right. You left it open because it never occurred to you that anyone else would take it, and now you're trying to save face. I'll believe your version when I believe all your other lies.
Gene Speaks! Why As a Libertarian He STILL Thinks We Should Get Involved in the Israeli Conflict
It's not an "attack piece", Gene. It's a statement of fact. Libertarians do not believe in getting involved in international conflict unless it is absolutely necessary for the security of our borders. Period, end of discussion. Of course, you think that you know more about Libertarians than Libertarians know about Libertarians. Idiot.
You might try reading the Libertarian platform sometime. It very clearly states:
"American foreign policy should seek an America at peace with the world and the defense -- against attack from abroad -- of the lives, liberty, and property of the American people on American soil. Provision of such defense must respect the individual rights of people everywhere.
The principle of non-intervention should guide relationships between governments. The United States government should return to the historic libertarian tradition of avoiding entangling alliances, abstaining totally from foreign quarrels and imperialist adventures, and recognizing the right to unrestricted trade, travel, and immigration."
Important Question/ Issue for Gene
"I thought Libertarians didn't believe in getting involved in international conflict unless it is absolutely necessary for the security of our borders? I have no idea why he's running as a Libertarian."
It "is absolutly necessary for the security of our borders," as I quote your attack piece upon me, for us to get Israel out of harm's way. We put Israel there ultimately based on a Bible reading of President Truman that God would 'bless those who bless Jerusalem.' Unless God gets quickly involved in the Middle Eastern problem that we imposed upon that area in the name of our Christian God, Israel will see much larger problems in its future than a few hundred rockets in its cities. These Muslims are foaming at the mouth to destroy Israel with anything they can find, and they are finding bigger and bigger things.
America is in a Post-Christian Era, which means our Christian based support for the nation of Israel is leaving the world stage over the next few decades, all things being equal. I don't believe you send somebody (Israel) into a deadly environment and abandon them. We have an obligation to finish the blunder we started by extracting Israel out for their own safety.
My longterm objective is getting the U. S. out of international conflicts, and my proposals work to that end without the United States being blown off the map by other countries in the process. You don't just stand up after you've been pinning somebody to the ground (Islamic Nations) for 58 years (Isreal became a nation in 1948) and think they are just gonna walk away.
Israel was designed as a "people for a land that had no people." Even Israel recognizes now the obvious, that there were people there already there in 1948.
We have two populations that claim God gave them the same piece of ground. How do you solve this nonviolently? King Solomon is my best mind on the matter. Perhaps you are wiser than Solomon?
Gene Chapman
How do I solve it nonviolently? I don't, and neither should the United States. They should be left to work it out for themselves. It does not involve us, as it poses no security issues for our borders.
I'm not wiser than Solomon, to answer your question, but I'm sure one helluva lot smarter than you. I think you missed why King Solomon suggested cutting the baby in half. He said that because he understood human nature, and knew that he would discover the identity of the real mother. What you propose will not come to that logical conclusion. In the Solomon story, the real mother gave up her rights rather than have her baby killed. In the Israeli conflict, both sides are willing to die for what they think is right, and they are even willing to sacrifice their children. So you might want to listen to the smart people every once in a while, rather than just showing your ignorance and stupidity every time you "speak" or, more correctly stated, blather.
Besides, how do you propose to physically move two countries on barges? That's one of the most ludicrous ideas I have ever heard in my entire life. Furthermore, it's not just a matter of moving land, and neither side will allow it anyway. They both consider it holy ground, and you are asking for the United States to become embroiled in a holy war that we can never win by even proposing it.
As you illustrate very well, there is nothing quite like a religious fanatic when it comes to starting wars.
You might want to pull your head out of your ass every once in a while. You would be the biggest warmonger in the history of the United States, no matter how your platform is viewed. As such, you are an embarrassment to Libertarians everywhere.
There, now THAT was an attack piece. Happy now? LOL
Gene Speaks! "The Checkerboard Plan"
"If a world conflict is serious enough to risk the life of one American footsoldier, it's big enough to use a nuclear bomb, I say. Therefore, I propose to call our troops home from the 130 countries around the world where they are now, reassign footsoldiers to other jobs and form a global nuclear web, allowing the President and other top military personel to target and destroy 50 quare mile areas of the planet, when absolutly required to stop a larger problem. (This should all but end low level conventional tinkering by the U. S. Government around the world.)"
S/ The Checkerboard Plan
The U. S. Government has had its foot on the neck of a bunch of nations for a long time. And when new blood makes it into power in Washington and starts pulling that foot up off of those necks, the people held down by that foot are gonna come up swinging anything they can find to hit us with.
Withdrawal of U. S. troops from the 130 countries from around the world where they are now sounds easy, but it will be the hardest task imaginable, for we will have to trust the whole world not to hit us with whatever they do find. If and when we decide to be good nonviolent neighbors in the world community, we will need a good distant deterrent to those who wish to do us the greatest possible harm here on America's shores in retaliation for American past Communist Aggression against them.
The Checkerboard Plan provides this distant deterrent.
The safest airplane is one where every disinterested passenger carries a loaded pistol, and the safest world is one where every disinterested nation state has equality of weaponry. When everyone is armed, everybody gets polite.
To reach this disinterested end:
1) Israel must be moved out of harm's way.
2) Respect for religious beliefs and individual property rights must be embraced in real ways by nation states.
Until then, The Checkerboard Plan is the best I can offer the world to provide enduring security during a time of U. S. troop withdrawal from the whole world.
Gene Chapman
ChapmanForPresident08.com
If nuking a 50-square-mile area is the best he can offer the world, then he needs to get back into his big rig and keep driving.
What he doesn't understand is the fallout of such action, both literally and figuratively. If you nuke a 50-square-mile area, not only are you going to kill millions of innocent people in that country, the nuclear fallout could easily drift into other countries as well. When that happens, the excrement is really going to hit the fan, because we'll have every country on earth coming after us with everything they've got, from biological warfare to black market nukes left over from the former Soviet Union.
Of course, I still haven't figure out how he is going to move Israel (although he said he was going to ship it on barges, ROFLMAO). You can't move an entire country, especially when that country is fighting because both they and their enemies consider the ground to be holy ground. Try to even touch it, and we'll end up in a war we'll never win, because it will be a holy war.
Besides, I thought Libertarians didn't believe in getting involved in international conflict unless it is absolutely necessary for the security of our borders? I have no idea why Gene is running as a Libertarian. He's an embarrassment to Libertarians everywhere.
Gene obviously plans to get us all killed by starting World War III, and two of his platform items ("Checkerboard Plan" and "King Solomon Solution") will accomplish that end rather speedily. I thought Bush was a marmonger, but Gene makes Bush look like a harmless little kitten.

Gene Thinks Gandhi and Jesus Would Approve of a "Bloodbath"
A/ 2nd Amendment
Mahatma Gandhi, the man I have most often been compared to in recent years, worried openly that nonviolent force would not work when dealing with a Communist government, like the government we now face in the United States. The Communist, Gandhi mused, does not care about whether it is perceived as moral in the world; rather, it seeks ruthless economic efficiency at great cost to the individual and the longterm economic success and even survival of the nation. Gandhi wrote that he would die in the face of this evil rather then use violence against the Communist, but he did not lay out any absolute instruction for the rest of humanity to follow in the midst of this type of government oppression.
The 2nd Amendment is not written to protect your hunting rights nearly so much as it is intended to allow We The People of The United States to overthrow our servant government should they get too far removed from our Constitutional protections. Gandhi, I think, would approve if he were alive in present day America that the people must be able to overthrow tyrany via violent force, if need be.
As a student of Jesus Christ these many years, I am reminded in his Bible that "There is a time for war" and "a time to kill." There is a time when the Lamb of God becomes the Lion of The Tribe of Judah. There is a time to bleed the demon robed in flesh. There is a time to "judge and make war." There is a time for bloodbath counter revolution in the defense of Liberty.
Thus, I am left with no moral reservation about the 2nd Amendment. I support it with my whole heart.
Gene Chapman
ChapmanForPresident08.com
Nowhere did Gandhi or Jesus Christ ever advocate a "bloodbath"; quite the contrary, as they both advocated total non-violence. While they both made comments about violence and taking up arms, Gene has misinterpreted them. For example, Gandhi wrote, "I do believe that where there is only a choice between cowardice and violence, I would advise violence." In other words, he considered cowardice to be a vice, so much so that violence would be preferable. That does not mean that he advocated violence. He even suggested that the Holocaust victims should have committed suicide rather than allow themselves to be killed by Hitler. Never did he suggest that the Holocaust victims should have fought back, so Gene is crazy if he thinks Gandhi would approve of this.
Gene Compares Himself to Opponent George Phillies
Huh?
Let's think this through a little bit. Here's some information about his opponent, George Phillies:
While at MIT, Phillies earned degrees of Bachelor of Science in physics and in life sciences, as well as Master of Science and (in 1973) Doctor of Science degrees in physics. Phillies then joined the Harvard-MIT Health Sciences and Technology program as a researcher.
In 1975, Phillies moved to California, working as a postdoctoral fellow in the U.C.L.A. Chemistry department and living in Santa Monica. Phillies in 1978 moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan, where he was employed as an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at the University of Michigan. In 1985, after declining alternatives at nationally-known schools, Phillies moved to the prestigious Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where he rose to the rank of Professor of Physics and Associated Biochemistry Faculty. Phillies has attained international recognition for his scientific studies of light scattering, soaps, and polymer solutions. [Phillies: ``A polymer is a long thin molecule, shaped like a strand of spaghetti. A polymer solution pours very slowly. An engineer uses the pouring to design machines. A physicist asks `Why do molecules shaped like spaghetti strands pour slowly?']
Read more about George Phillies at http://users.wpi.edu/~phillies/#biography
George Phillies is also involved in Libertarian politics, whereas Gene is not and never has been.
I seriously doubt George Phillies has ever been arrested, much less ever been involuntarily committed to a mental hospital. I cannot even imagine that he has ever been diagnosed as delusional, either.
At any rate, I'm pretty sure a guy who has a doctorate in Physics from MIT is capable of doing anything he wants to do, and he would not be the first President who was a scientist. Most recently, we had Jimmy Carter, who had a degree in nuclear physics. It would be interesting to see what he has to say about Gene's plan to nuke 50-square mile areas every time somebody pisses him off.
Overall, I seriously doubt anyone with an IQ as low as Gene's is capable of doing anything more complicated than driving a truck. People with IQs in Gene's range can be taught to do things, but when it comes to highly complicated subjects (like the President would encounter) they are incapable of learning.
Gene also says that, as a truck driver, he has a gross revenue of 200K. I'm sure the IRS would love to find out about that, considering that he hasn't filed or paid taxes since the late '90s. Oops - dropped a dime. LOL
Anyway, here's an excerpt of a speech Phillies made about running for President, with regard to his opponents:
When you look at a candidate you should ask yourself: Does this person have serious educational and professional credentials? Is he in touch with reality, or is he fond of every sort of conspiracy theory? Americans believe in reasoning from the concrete behavior of the candidate. Does he pay his taxes? Is he a person of sober temperament? Does he enjoy the trust and respect of people who know him? Does he behave like a mature and sensible person?
That comment seems to have been written about Gene Chapman.
Well, here's what Gene-Gene-The-Lying-Machine has to say about George Phillies.
Phillies Is Accomplished, But ...
I saw on Mr. Phillies' blog that he is a Physics professor with a degree from MIT. I certainly respect his accomplished life, relative to mine, in the field of liquid research. However, I think of my hero, President Reagan, an actor, who challenged Communism like no one else in his generation.
In my studies and life, I've been on a board of directors with the President's of colleges and universities (Dr. Jack Hyles and Dr. Lee Roberson come to mind). I've seen my ideas used by the U.S. Government (the hours-of-service issue comes to mind) to save 210 lives a year. I've picked a lot of fights with the IRS, a major enemy of the Libertarian ideas, and they shudder when they see me coming. I've helped the President of J.B. Hunt Transport, Kirk Thompson, think through the purchase of 15,000 new trucks ($1,000,000,000) and to retain the company cash dividend to reinvest in the company for better returns for the shareholders with regard to tax issues. I was told in the now famous testing center in Irving, Texas that my three days of aptitude testing indicates I was "made for upper level management," above anything else I could aspire to do or be. I own my own business (an 18 wheeler) and live off the free market with $200,000 gross revenue per year, while Mr. Phillies, a respected teacher, appears to take a check from the state. (I've been offered 6 more trucks (easy money) in the past two years, ($1.2 million per year more in potential revenue) but I turned them down rather than bow to Karl Marx and his income tax). Walking away from money; that's integrity.
What top executives do is spend time in the big picture, to set the big vision for the group. I've done almost nothing in my life but be inside the big picture with various executives, examining the moral outcomes of decisions.
I respect Mr. Phillies, but I do not shrink from my successes either. Mr. Phillies appears to be a technical man, middle management stuff, based on my experiences and studies. We need a general (or the like) to lead the troops into battle for the freedoms we hold dear, not a middle manager, in my humble opinion.
I propose to be the Admiral in an armada, the Libertarian Party being the aircraft carrier, the Constitution Party being the battle ship and the Southern Parties being the destroyers. I do not need to know the chemical components to the chipped paint on a ship to be an admiral in a fleet of Anti-Communist ships. And so I continue to assert myself as every equal to Mr. Phillies, all respect intended.
Gene Chapman
Gene is not equal in qualifications to George Phillies in any way, shape, or form. He is certainly not "General" material by any stretch. Most people know that about themselves, because less than 1% of us are a George Phillies. Of course, Gene's a delusional narcissist, so I guess it shouldn't be surprising to find that he has such an overinflated opinion of himself.

PAYMENT OF TAX ON LABOR (ei. income tax) by a free born Christian is an immorial act. "Be not ye the (slaves) of men"
(Corinthians 7:23)
"Eenslaver"
(Timothy 1:10): One who extracts a tax on labor (ei.income tax) from another person; thus, under the judgement of the law of God.
In this most unique video presentation, Dr. Robert Clarkson of the renowned Patriot Network introduces Minister of Christ Gene Chapman to the Patriot World. Here, Chapman shares his odyssey in finding that the IRS is part of a Socialist Communist system of slavery imposed upon the American people and that it is both a sin for a "free" Christian to pay a property and/or income tax (I Corinthians 7:23) and a sin for anyone to collect such taxes (I Timothy 1:10-"menstealers").
He's been compared to William Wallace, Martin Luther, C. S. Lewis, Nelson Mandela and American Hindu's openly contemplate him as the possible reincarnation of Mahatma Gandhi. The Gandhi Community in India and two U. S. Presidential candidates have taken positive interest in his work in the Slave Freedom Movement. Documentary film makers in America and Europe have sought to film his life story. He has been covered by virtually every major media outlet in the world. He is a truck driver and university trained Christian minister named Gene Chapman
Follow his odyssey at: SlaveFreedom.com 888-606-9379
The person selling this crap took the above information off Gene's blogs. No one has ever compared Gene to William Wallace, Martin Luther, C.S. Lewis, or Nelson Mandela. Well, to be fair, no one has done that except Gene. The Hindu community does not contemplate him, either openly or privately, as the possible reincarnation of Mahatma Gandhi. No one has ever taken a positive interest in anything Gene does, except of course his fellow wingnuts. No one has sought to document his life (unless you consider this blog to be a documentary of sorts). He has not been covered by any major media outlet, ever, anywhere. He is not a university trained minister, Christian or otherwise.
Damn, Gene, your lies are entirely too easy to debunk.
Oh and, lest I forget, Dr. Robert Clarkson is the long-disbarred lawyer previously discussed on this blog. Just to remind you, he was disbarred for (among other things) stealing a poor woman's welfare check to force her to settle a case.
And, the Patriot Network isn't "renowned" by any stretch of the imagination. It's just a bunch of redneck wingnuts who have nothing better to do than criticize the government, while doing nothing worthwhile to effectuate change.
Gene Chapman and "The Turner Diaries"
For those of you not familiar with The Turner Diaries, it's the book used as a primer for the Oklahoma City bombing. While originally written by a white supremacist, envisioning a world without non-whites (and without whites who are not prejudiced against minorities) it has since been adopted by all kinds of wingnuts who aspire to revolt against the government.
Gene recently made the comment:
Make me dictator, and I'd tie the IRS agents to light poles across America and burn them at night to save money on electricity. I do not jest.
Here is a statement in The Turner Diaries:
Tonight, from tens of thousands of lampposts, power poles, and trees throughout this vast metropolitan area the grisly forms hang. Even the street signs at intersections have been pressed into service, and at practically every street corner I passed this evening on my way to HQ there was a dangling corpse, four at every intersection....the politicians, the lawyers, the businessmen, the TV newscasters, the newspaper reporters and editors, the judges, the teachers, the school officials, the "civic leaders," the bureaucrats, the preachers, and all the others who, for reasons of career or status or votes or whatever, helped promote or implement the System's racial program.
Gene wants to become a dictator, as stated above. In The Turner Diaries, the world is turned into a dictatorial oligarchy, under control of the white supremacists.
Gene wants to nuke everybody who pisses him off. In The Turner Diaries, the entire continents of Asia, Africa, and the island of Puerto Rico are all apparently nuked, with the specific intention of rendering those areas lifeless. They even have a plan to do away with the mutants who survived the holocaust.
I'll look into this further, and update you on other similarities between Gene's beliefs and The Turner Diaries. In the meantime, I feel the above is enough information to serve as proof that Gene has not only read The Turner Diaries based on the "light pole" comment but also, like a lot of other dangerous lunatics, he takes it seriously as a primer on how to revolt against the government. I cannot even imagine that he came up with that "light pole" comment in particular on his own.
I think the stockholders of the United States of America, Incorporated, will find this information both frightening and enlightening.
Gene Wants A Bloodbath!
Gene also references there being a time for a bloodbath. Do we really want this bloodthirsty wannabe tyrant as President of the United States of America, Incorporated? I bet the shareholders don't!

PAMite PERFORMS "EXORCISM" OF IRS. SERIOUSLY.
Meet Gene Chapman. This toga-wearin' dude became convinced that the IRS office in Atlanta was "possessed" by a "demon" which he called "Enslaving Thief".
So, he did what any other red-blooded American Gandhi-wannabe would do. He performed an exorcism.
I was disappointed to note that the exorcism only took about 30 minutes, and consisted of one sentence being repeated over and over. I mean, c'mon, they last longer than that in the movies. And there was no cool "The power of Christ compels you!" dialogue, spinning heads, or projectile vomiting involved, either. Instead, he just threw ashes on himself and walked around the building saying "Enslaving Thief, Be thou cast into the sea, in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost."
Sounds kind of boring to me.
I'm not real sure about the casting into the sea thing. I mean, that's an awfully long way to travel from Atlanta, and there's the possibility that Enslaving Thief would drop in on an IRS substation along the way. I think that particular command would work better in, say, Jacksonville Beach. But, hey, I'm not an exorcist, so what do I know?
Now, I thought the name "Enslaving Thief" was pretty doggone convenient, since Gene goes on and on in his 20+ blogs to talk about the word "enslaver" (and his interpretation that it's referring to the IRS) in excruciating detail. But, not to worry. According to Gene, "It is not so important that I call his name in a correct tongue as it is that I address him to his face with his crime clear in my mind."
Hello? I think that if you're in the business of casting out REAL demons, you'd doggone well better know their REAL names!
But, Gene has nothing to worry about since there isn't really a demon possessing the IRS in Atlanta, Georgia. And I'm pretty sure he knows that, too.
As weird as this is, Gene's only trying to keep up with his own past record for weirdness. Last year, he went on a "death fast", trying to force the IRS to tell him, in a manner acceptable to him, why he owes income tax. They responded, but of course the explanation wasn't good enough. After all, PAMites have decided that they don't have to pay income tax, and therefore no explanation will ever be good enough.
Needless to say, since he performed an "exorcism" just a couple of days ago, his "death fast" did not result in his death. Why? Was it a miracle? Did the IRS crumble in fear of his threats and decide that there is no income tax after all? Nope. He didn't die simply because he started eating again. He then blamed the failure of his "death fast" on - who else? - the Internal Revenue Service. But, he leaves it open to start his "death fast" again at a later date.
I don't think it works that way. Once you eat, the fast is over. Of course, he could drag this out for years, "death fast" after "death fast". And people will feel sorry for him, and send him money.
Suckers.
I'm sure his failure to die was somewhat of a disappointment to the PAMites, because he had informed them fairly early on that he was in the "death zone" and promised to become a "martyr" for their cause if the IRS didn't bend to his demands. And they all watched, and waited, and blamed the Internal Revenue Service for Gene's certain death. Then, he didn't die. What an anticlimax! Oh, well. When he kicks the bucket 20 years from now, they can still blame the IRS and say that it was caused by a weakened heart brought on by his "death fast". *grin*
What's really funny is that on his "death fast" blog, he doesn't appear to be losing any weight. None, nada, zip, zilch. He claims to have lost over 50 pounds, but he sure looks pretty robust and healthy to me. No gauntness of the face, no abdominal swelling, and his limbs appear to increase in size. In fact, it looks like he's GAINING weight! Check out the photos for yourself: "Death Fast" Blog
By day 40, he looks something like a cross between Eric Cartman and Jabba the Hut. Looks more like a "death fat" than a "death fast" to me. ;-)
Anyway, after the "death fast", he decided to walk about 700 miles to bring attention to his fight against the IRS. Problem is, it doesn't look like he walked most of it. He made all kinds of excuses for driving most of the distance, from rain to the danger of walking on the side of roads.
Gandhi, he ain't. Come to think of it, even Forrest Gump did a better job - and he not only walked, he ran, and for a much longer distance. AND, Forrest did it for "no particular reason"!
Life really is like a box of chocolates. Sometimes, you get a real nut.
So, who is this guy anyway? Well, he's an on-again off-again truck driver who filed income tax returns showing zero income (although he was making over $700/week), and as a result he owes the IRS tens of thousands of dollars.
So, except for the Gandhi get-up ... and the exorcisms ... and the death fasts ... he's a pretty run-of-the-mill PAMite. (Without the "run" part of it. And forget anything about a "walk" either.)
Typical, that is, until you read that he also wants to start his own ARMED MILITIA. He even specifies what kind of guns he wants to use ....

American Rangers
We are in need of forming a Texas Ranger styled citizen's police force under the authority of the Christian AntiCommunist Party. This is to ensure that citizens are given due process in property in land rights issues with the IRS and local governments.
We are observing local police agencies being afraid to deal with the IRS, for example. An "American Ranger" will need to be dressed and carry himself or herself in a fashion that would be respected in the Texas Rangers organization of old.
This is a war of imagery, and we must not allow the government to paint us as fringe elements. We are not a fringe after all. To ensure this American Ranger detachment is respected, we need a uniform: white or tan cowboy hat. We need hair standards that will ensure respecability in any setting: trimmed beards and hair over the ears and collar. We need tan boots as footwear, nothing black. The side arm should be American made: maybe a .44 on the hip with a .30 cal. lever action long rifle as standard. The idea is to be more American than anybody else could be.
This will help us win any public issue before it gets out of hand. We will be presented as the best American citizenry has to offer. The result will be openess to our ideas when times get rough.
respectfully,
Gene Chapman, Co-Founder
Christian AntiCommunist Party
Hmmmm ..... I don't think the real Gandhi was interested in armed confrontation. And I don't think any true follower of Gandhi (as this guy claims to be) would be interested in it, either. In fact, I'm pretty sure they'd find it absolutely abhorrent.
Poor Gandhi. He's probably turning over in his grave as I write this.
So basically what we have here is a PAMite in a "Gandhi" halloween costume ... but now he wants a new "Texas Ranger" costume, and he wants one with real guns.

MULTIPLE "DEATH FASTER" AT IT AGAIN
Blog readers may recall several previous entries on Gene "TogaDude" Chapman, the Texas truck driver and Gandhi wannabe who has done such absurd publicity stunts as performing an "exorcism" on the IRS Building in Atlanta, Georgia, and going on a "death fast" against taxes. Obviously, since he's a multiple death faster, he didn't die. He backed out of the last one on Day 40 because he was told that Gandhi says we don't fast against those who don't love us. He decided the IRS didn't love him. It sounds to me more like a guy who wasn't prepared to actually die in the first place. He just wanted attention, and he's kind of known for that. He's not above coming up with some pretty tall tales in trying to get that attention, either.
He called Gandhi a "light-weight faster" compared to him, and claims that some Hindus believe him to be the reincarnation of Gandhi, although I suspect that no one thinks that except Gene. Nevertheless, we all know who Gandhi was. Very few people know who Gene Chapman is. And of those who do know who he is, almost all think he is certifiable.
In a most un-Gandhi-like move, he proposed to start his own armed militia, as I previously noted in this blog. He's kind of a wingnut, needless to say.
The guy has even said that he doesn't understand why he hasn't gotten a Nobel Prize yet for his actions in exposing that there is not really an income tax (even though everyone with a functioning brain knows that there is indeed an income tax).
He claims that he beat out financial genius Warren Buffett in picking stocks, and that they had something of a friendship. Someone talked to Buffett, and he says he's never heard of Gene Chapman. Buffett further stated that he would certainly remember anyone who could out-do him in the stock market.
Another wild claim by Gene is that he was "consulted" by the FBI during the Waco standoff. Nowhere in all the thousands of documents released since that time is he ever mentioned, although many other people are quite specifically mentioned as consultants. Furthermore, there is no evidence whatsoever that he had any credentials to even be a consultant. He says he had them pipe in certain Biblical verses a specific number of times over a loudspeaker. Nowhere does it ever say they did that either.
Apparently Gene lives in a world the rest of us never get to see.
In recent months, the IRS has really cracked down on Gene. I personally think it took them way longer to do that than it should have, and that they've been a lot nicer about it than they should be. See, Gene's a tax protester who intentionally filed fraudulent income tax returns specifically to evade payment of income taxes. As far as I'm concerned, he should have been prosecuted a long time ago. Yet, the IRS has been nice about it, even trying to set up a payment plan. You'd think he'd be grateful that they didn't just throw him in prison, but instead he vilifies them as "evil".
This is where it starts to get even more bizarre, and endlessly hilarious. Gene, a self-styled minister, very recently (and conveniently) decided that taxation is slavery pursuant to Biblical principals. He got a couple of people that he calls "Greek Scholars" to back up his interpretation of a single word, and has turned that one Greek word into his own tax protesting religion.
What's quite humorous is that one of those people who back him up was unashamedly referred to by Gene as a "Greek Scholar and upscale house painter", if that gives you an idea of the level of expertise he really sought. He now claims that taxation of any kind is slavery. He also claims that the Bible says it's okay to commit suicide rather than be a slave to taxes.
Gene must have a different Bible altogether than any one I've ever seen, because the Bible does not to my knowledge say any such thing. Whatever happened to "Render unto Caesar"? Well, Gene has his own unique interpretation of that, too. See, he claims that, in the United States, the citizens are "Caesar". Um, yeah.
At any rate, the IRS finally figured out that he was never going to voluntarily pay what he has owed for years. So understandably they started garnishing his paychecks and slapping liens on property. Gene then declared that he could not be a "slave", and went off on a number of weird tangents to try to get the government to back off from trying to collect his taxes.
He requested a "self-immolation permit" so he can set himself on fire on the steps of the IRS Building. Um, I just don't see that bizarre permit being approved. He said that he would slit his throat or his wrists rather than pay taxes, and said he bought some razor blades and was practicing by cutting his knuckles. When that didn't get him the attention he wanted, he then said he was going to commit the "Samson Solution" when he went to the IRS in Washington.
Now, THAT got him a LOT of attention.
Not surprisingly, the FBI, TIGTA, and the Department of Homeland Security were all over him once he posted that on his blog. For those of you who recall the story of Samson, he did all kinds of violent things. He slew 1000 people with the jawbone of an ass. Well, unless Gene's planning to slay 1000 people with his own jawbone, we can assume that's not what he meant. Samson foolishly let a woman cut his hair, which was the source of his strength. Gene's bald, and as far as I can tell, he has no strength of body, mind, or convictions. So that can't be it either.
Samson's final solution, however, was to collapse a government building, killing all inside. Shades of Timothy McVeigh? The government was quite obviously concerned, as well they should have been especially considering that he at that time was driving a semi.
There is quite a big difference between Gene and Samson, though. Samson really was a slave. Gene Chapman just thinks he's one. Frankly, I find it offensive that he would even begin to compare paying taxes to actually being a slave. It doesn't even make sense.
Gene "turned in" his social security number, making this huge production of it because he believes it to be the Mark of the Beast and proof of his "slave" status. He made an appointment and even invited people to come watch him do it. However, since social security numbers are not worldwide, that theory also doesn't make sense. It's additionally worth noting that you can't turn in your social security number. Once it's issued, it's yours forever. You can give them the card back, which is an exercise in pure futility; and you can say that you don't have a social security number, but if you do that, you're lying because you do still have one. He even once went on a tangent about how his mother, when he was just a little kid, signed him up for the "Mark of the Beast" by getting him a social security number. He's not only an idiot, he's a disgraceful son. His mother ought to slap him upside the head for saying disrespectful crap like that about her on the internet.
Gene then decided to camp out in front of the IRS in Washington. The federal agents, still understandably wary of his "Samson Solution" threats, kept coming out and asking him the same questions over and over again. Then they took him into the lobby and told him that if he makes less than $7800 per year, he doesn't have to file taxes. At any rate, he couldn't handle being asked the same questions over and over - in other words, getting the attention he wanted in the first place - so he left after only about 28 hours.
Way to stand by your convictions, Gene.
He now has requested religious "assylum" from the Vatican. I can't imagine that happening, for a number of reasons. First, he's not even Catholic, he's Baptist. Second, his claim makes no sense. Third, he made up some wild story a while back about leading something like 600,000 people in a protest against the Pope during one of the Pope's visits to the US. No one has ever been able to substantiate that story, although many have tried. Nevertheless, the fact that he said it - and posted it on the internet - doesn't speak well of the chance that the Vatican would even consider giving him "assylum".
He has also requested "assylum" from just about every other country on earth. The funny thing is, he has yet to apply to even one without an income tax. I guess that's why he calls it "assylum". He just pulls this stuff out of his ass.
Now, that's another interesting thing about Gene. He makes all kinds of wild claims that cannot be substantiated. Some of those have been chronicled in this blog either here or in previous entries, some have not. There are just too many of them to keep up with. The most notable is that he claims to be a minister, but there's nothing to suggest that he is any such thing except in his own mind. He has never worked as a minister (although he claims to have spent numerous years in a monastery, when challenged he claimed that his semi was his monastery). He claims to have studied for the ministry for 10 years. Truth is, he attended a couple years of college, but he never got a degree and was never a seminary student.
Even more telling is that Gene doesn't act like a minister either. Recently another tax protester talked to Gene on the phone. The fellow was despondent and suicidal over the IRS garnishing his wages. Did Gene give him counsel to have faith in God, or even to keep his chin up? Nope. Gene told him it would be spiritually acceptable for him to hang himself to death and become a "martyr" for the tax protesting cause. Then Gene launched into a bizarre prayer asking God that this guy have a "painless death" in the face of "Socialist/Communist" IRS oppression.
That doesn't sound like any minister I've ever heard of. It sounds more like a dangerous cult leader to me.
Now, Gene is on another "death fast"; today is Day 22. He has decided that the IRS loves him after all (probably due to all the attention they gave him when he was in Washington), and so now it's ok to fast against them.
He claims to be drinking some water, but otherwise taking in no nutrients at all - no salt, no vitamins, no food. He calls this the "White House Death Fast" even though he's doing it in a motel in Texas. He says he wants his dying body to be taken to the Capitol Building on Day 50 of the fast, so that everyone can see him die. He has also suggested that his dead body be paraded in Washington so everyone can see what the "Socialist/Communist IRS" did to him.
Um, I don't think they did anything. Everybody knows you have to pay taxes, and everybody knows it's the law. They're just doing their jobs. He's starving himself. No one is making Gene do that except Gene.
There are several interesting things about this "death fast", none of which have anything to do with religion, slavery, the IRS, or taxes.
First, during his "death fast" last year, there were photos showing him on each day. He sure looked pretty healthy for somebody who hadn't eaten in 40 days. For anyone interested in seeing his blog on that fast, see http://www.in-austin.com/death-fast/.
Furthermore, there is a rumor that the girl he was engaged to at that time (another very weird story) said that she was talking to him on the phone during the "death fast", and she distinctly heard the sound of a potato chip bag rustling. When she asked him what caused the noise, he told her that it was not for women to ask men questions.
I'd guess he was eating potato chips, otherwise he would have just answered the question. At any rate, I don't think I need to tell you that engagement didn't last.
So based on his last "death fast", there is a legitimate question as to whether he really is starving himself to death as he claims.
Right now, Gene claims that he's going blind. Then he claims that his eyesight is better. It reminds me of a Monty Python sketch. "Bring out your dead!" "No, I'm not dead yet." "Well, you will be soon." "No, I'm getting better!"
He also told God in a prayer (he records audioblogs, which is pretty annoying, but I digress) that the parents of IRS employees are to blame for his impending death, since they raised children evil enough to go to work for that agency. That was a pretty strange thing to say. He also specifically says that the IRS agent who put the screws to him, Beverly Lee, will burn in hell. He goes into quite a bit of detail about her burning in hell too. That was an even stranger thing to say. I take it he doesn't like her too much, but I'm sure the feeling is mutual.
He's very upset that the press isn't covering his "death fast". The idiot doesn't realize that, number one, some crazy guy starving himself to death over taxes is NOT newsworthy; and number two, the media doesn't cover suicides because it's unethical. Think about it. The only news reports you ever see which even mention suicide are reports about murder/suicides. Even then, the suicide is mentioned only as a way of explaining what happened to the killer. The mainstream press is never going to cover this story, nor should they. Only the lunatic fringe thinks it's newsworthy, and they're screaming to high heaven because no one's paying attention.
Hey, loonies - Is this enough attention for you? LOL
It is yet to be seen whether Gene will actually finish this "death fast", or if he'll find a way out of it. Again.
Personally, I think the authorities in the state of Texas need to have him involuntarily committed. The FBI tried to do that when he was mouthing off about the "Samson Solution", but some dumbass at the state hospital decided he wasn't a danger to himself or anyone else. Well, it's now just a couple of months later, and the guy is starving himself to death.
I think it's pretty clear that he's a danger to himself. Whether he's actually starving himself to death right now or not, anyone who makes that many suicide threats is eventually going to do it. I'm a little concerned that this time he may have backed himself into a corner, with no way out but to die.
Now, don't get me wrong. I don't want Gene Chapman to die - if nothing else, the world is more interesting with him in it. I just want him to stop being a megalomaniacal fake minister who comes up with bizarre publicity stunts to raise money and get attention. Oh, and it would be nice if he paid his taxes, too.
Only two things are sure in this life, it has been said. Death and taxes. Gene needs to choose taxes because, if he dies protesting the income tax when we all know it's the law, he won't go down in history as a "martyr". He won't go down in history at all. He'll be just another mentally ill person who took their own life, and were let down by the mental health system which is supposedly set up to save people like him from themselves.

TOGADUDE STARTS YET ANOTHER BIZARRO BLOG
That toga-wearin', multiple death-fastin' self-proclaimed exorcist Gene Chapman has started yet another blog at http://PreparingForAntiChrist.blogspot.com. He already has over twenty blogs, so a new one is no surprise. This one is apparently intended for his newest scheme/scam, helping people set up corporations sole.
I previously discussed corporations sole in this blog with reference to Kent "Dr. Dino" Hovind. They are intended for officials of real churches, but some tax protesters proclaim themselves to be a church and file for corporation sole status so that they become tax exempt without going through Internal Revenue Service scrutiny.
It's a shockingly bad idea to do that, incidentally, because to normal people that's known as "tax evasion". Yes, you can go to prison for doing that.
Gene's new scheme, in which he has partnered with disbarred attorney / tax protester Robert Clarkson, is setting up home "churches". That's right, we're talking about individuals claiming themselves to be a church. He plans to charge $1,000 each for filling in the blanks on some forms, and intends to form 508 such "home churches".
I'm not sure where he came up with such an odd figure, but if successful he could gross a cool half mil out of scamming people and setting them up to not only ruin themselves financially, but also to be possibly arrested and imprisoned.
I don't think I need to tell you that there's no such thing as a "home church". Gene knows that. He also knows that it's tax evasion, could even be considered a conspiracy to defraud the United States government, and that he'll almost certainly get busted for it. I'm not the only one who has told him this. Of course, since a disbarred lawyer tells him differently, why would he listen to anyone else? LOL
Gene believes that taxes are slavery, and claims the social security number is the Mark of the Beast. Of course, since the Mark of the Beast would be worldwide, that's ludicrous. Nevertheless, there are a lot of tax protesters who claim to believe the same thing. I suspect that's just their excuse for not using a social security number because in reality, if they did, the IRS would levy their wages for back taxes. Even Gene used a social security number until the IRS started to levy his wages, then suddenly he was screaming to high heaven about how it was the "Mark of the Beast". Most of these guys work cash jobs only or, as Gene describes it, "living off the grid".
Gene himself is now "living off the grid" to keep the government from collecting back taxes. In fact, he's way off the grid, since he lives in a leaky RV in a campground and works one day a week on a cash construction job. When he wants people to feel sorry for him and send him fabulous cash prizes, he'll poor-mouth about going to live in a homeless shelter and eating at soup kitchens.
Yet, despite his apparent status of complete loser and lazy waste of human flesh, he describes himself on his new blog as follows:
Christian Minister Gene K. Chapman, Servant of the Son of ManChapman has been compared to William Wallace, Martin Luther, C.S. Lewis, Nelson Mandela, and is known widely as, "The American Gandhi." The Gandhi community in India and two U.S. Presidential candidates have taken positive interest in his work. He is the leader of the Slave Freedom Movement (SlaveFreedom.com), Co-Founder of the Christian AntiCommunist Party (ChristianAntiCommunistParty.blogspot.com)and is a missionary to the Christian Underground. He has been interviewed by CNN, BBC World Service, "People Magazine," "The Economist Magazine," "The Washington Post," "The New York Times" and various other news organizations around the world.
A search of those publications shows no such interviews. In fact, I cannot even imagine that any legitimate news source would have the least bit of interest in Gene Chapman. To my knowledge, one local paper ran a story on him in the human interest pages when he was doing something bizarre as usual, and he lied to them about his qualifications by saying that he attended seminary. Gene has never attended seminary. When confronted with that lie, he said the reporter got it wrong. I contacted the reporter, and was told that she not only had that comment on tape, there was a witness to the interview. She reviewed her records and stated categorically that Gene absolutely did say that he attended seminary. Furthermore, when the article came out, Gene didn't try to correct it. Instead, he sent her a letter telling her what a great and accurate article she had written.
I guess it never occurred to him that the statement might come back to bite him. After all, even I laughed at his antics for quite some time before finally deciding to investigate his claims, and even then only did it because someone at Quatloos asked if anyone had done so.
Think about it. If Gene were as well-known as he claims to be in his self-description, his "death fasts" would have been big news. Yet, even though he contacted news organizations trying to get coverage, no one was interested. Not even hokey local weeklies were interested in running a story on it. The one local paper which did do the single story on him a long time ago is not interested in writing about him further, and I don't blame them since it ended up making them look foolish for not having checked out his claims. Yet Gene has repeatedly stated that they were going to do a follow-up. At one point, he even claimed that same reporter was interested in doing a documentary on him. She categorically denies that too, not surprisingly. *grin*
The "Christian AntiCommunist Party" is obviously a joke, although Gene apparently takes it quite seriously. I'm not sure how many members it has, but I'd guess they could all be counted on one hand. Its only presence appears to be on Blogger, and as far as I can tell they've never even had a candidate run for Dog Catcher.
I have no idea which "presidential candidates" allegedly took an interest in him. I seriously doubt that any did, or at least not any that we'd recognize. The only one I can think of who may have taken an interest in Gene is also a tax protester as well as a raving lunatic who has been involuntarily committed at least once. See, www.stewwebb.com/.
Gene seems to think, however, that George W. Bush takes an interest in him. I cannot even imagine that to be true.
I also have been unable to find anyone who has ever compared Gene to any of those historical figures .... well, unless you count the times that Gene has compared himself to them. He is not "widely known as the American Gandhi" by any stretch of the imagination. He is, however, fodder for a lot of jokes among those who follow the antics of the lunatic fringe.
At any rate, it appears that Gene will be posting a lot more drivel on his new blog about "giving unto Caesar" (he thinks citizens are Caesar, so we don't have to pay taxes), as well as "kingdom living" (i.e., working cash jobs only to avoid paying taxes).
Incidentally, Gene does have a comment section on one (and only one) of his blogs, http://GeneChapmanTaxCase.blogspot.com. He also makes an occasional guest appearance in the comments section of Frank Buckner's blog http://DougKenline_loserman.blogspot.com known as the "Deadbeat and TogaFraud Show".
Gene told me on Frank's blog that the FBI knows who I am because I take an interest in him. See, the FBI takes quite an interest in Gene, and he claims to have an "FBI handler". However, in another comment on Frank's blog, he said that we even had his "FBI handler" laughing at him. That's pretty bad considering that the FBI isn't exactly known for its sense of humor.
Anyway, I told Gene that the FBI doesn't know who I am, and could care even less who I am. After all, I'm not inciting anyone to commit fraud. I'm certainly not making bizarre threats against the government and various government officials, which is the reason why they take an interest in him. So I told Gene on his own blog that if the FBI wants to visit me to discuss my interest in him, they'd be more than welcome and I'd even invite them in and serve coffee and pastries. Gene's response? "Fine". ROFLMAO
His newest blog doesn't permit comments, probably because he knows people like me will warn others about him. That wouldn't help him sell any of his "Kingdom Living" packages, after all.
It appears that Gene is a wannabe cult leader. Of course, that was an easy conclusion to reach from the time I first ran across him and realized that he claims to be a minister but lies a lot and wears a toga, LOL.

TOGADUDE INVOLUNTARILY COMMITTED TO PSYCHIATRIC FACILITY
While this will come as no surprise to anyone familiar with Gene Chapman aka TogaDude, his bizarro antics finally caught up with him. I've put off including this information in the blog to see how it plays out, but it looks like he may be there for a while.
Over New Year's weekend, TogaDude announced that he was planning to self-immolate on January 3rd at an IRS building in South Carolina. Here are some excerpts from his blog:
RBC: Jan 3: Chapman grabbed by Police and Shrinks
A few blocks from the IRS Office and a few minutes before the demand time, Gene’s pickup-camper was stopped by a dozen police and he was placed in an ambulance. More details later.
I went by city-county jail at noon and he was not there. Apparently he was in the ER waiting shipment to mental hospital and mental examination. He should be back out in 1 to 3 months. Probably, the police had a commitment order from the Judge. Many Patriots showed up to see The American Gandhi mess up the irs parking lot but he did not show. Afterwards we did not go to a BBQ joint because so many people objected.
Press Release: 1 Jan 05 Contact Gene Chapman
For Immediate Release www.slavefreedom.com
Gene Chapman, the American Gandhi, will martyr himself in front of the IRS office in Greenville SC on Roper Mt Rd, off I-385, on Monday at 10am. The press is invited. Gene's last meeting and prayer service was held Saturday at 1pm in Greenville at Carolina Patriots monthly meeting.
This is the regular monthly meeting of the CarolinaPatriots, a Constitution Study Group based in Greenville for almost 30 years. www.patriotnetwork.info
Gene told Robert Clarkson, the President of CarolinaPatriots, that God told him to do this. "Gene has presented reasonable requests to the tax collectors but they are forcing him to depart this earth with a bang." See his blog at www.slavefreedom.com
Gene is unable to obtain employment due to relinquishing his Social Security Number based on his Christian belief that it is the mark of the beast. The Internal Revenue Code requires employers to ask for a SSN and notify the IRS if the employee refuses. No actual law requires a company to secure a SSN. The American Gandhi has requested the IRS to furnish a written statement to that effect.
Gene has perpetuated several hunger strikes against the IRS in Washington, D.C. and in Texas, and the tax collectors capitulated. Chapman was a student at Bible College at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Greenville. Years ago Gene and Bob Jones of BJU achieved world wide media attention with their billboards concerning the Pope's visit to Columbia S.C.
And here was what he planned to read on the steps of the IRS:
Flee The Wrath Of God To Come.
When I was a little boy, all the preachers within and without my family told me that when the social security number transforms from being a benign number dealing with the Social Security Administration to being an all inclusive control number over every aspect of life, "Get away from it!"
Since September 11, 2001, I have seen this transformation, such that Federal and State laws now mandate proof of a social security number just to renew a commercial driver's license, for example. Bank accounts, credit cards, everything is now tied to the social security number.
As a Christian who fears the 'wine of the wrath of God' (Revelation 14:10) for utilizing a government imposed control number on my ability to "sell" (Revelation 13:17) my labor, I can no longer use a social security number.
For two months in South Carolina, I have sought employment and been outright refused or turned down suspiciously a half-a-dozen times over my polite religious refusal to use a social security number. My savings is now gone, and I now demand from the IRS an answer in writing:
1) Must I have a social security number to have a job and get paid by an average employer in the United States?
2) Will the U.S. Government defend my religious requirement not to have or utilize a social security number when employers refuse me employment because of my lack of a social security number?
The EEOC and the Social Security Administration directed me to the IRS and an IRS ruling of July, 2003 for an answer. The IRS has not responded, and I am dying economically for lack of clarification.
Thus, the IRS will provide me in writing either the answers to my two questions by 10:30 a.m. today or written assurance of a written response to the questions within seventy-two hours, or I shall be forced to take my life at 10:30 a.m. in the IRS parking lot this morning.
Since he had actually sent out a press release days prior to the planned public suicide, and advertised it daily on his blog, it was no surprise to anyone when the cops stopped him on his way to the IRS, and shipped him off to a local psychiatric hospital.
Of course, the lunatics he runs around with put a rather unique spin on this by posting a claim that stated "Christian Minister Gene Chapman Arrested For Living". Um, yeah.
Now, before anybody starts feeling sorry for this guy, let me explain something. He didn't turn in his social security card because of a religious belief. He did it because that's how the IRS was tracking his employment, and they had levied his paycheck because for years he filed fraudulent tax returns. No one has been able to confirm his claims about Bible College or his billboard campaign against the Pope. The IRS has never "capitulated" to his "death fasts". Quite the opposite, in fact. They finally got sick and tired of dealing with his constant bullshit - including saying that the parents of IRS employees were going to hell for raising evil children - and attached his paycheck.
He's not quite such a sympathetic character when you know the truth, is he? That's just part of it. Check the rest of this blog for more TogaDude nonsense.
What was very surprising was that some people had gone there to see a guy set himself on fire, and were so disappointed when it didn't happen that they cancelled their planned lunch at a local barbeque joint.
What kind of person watches a man die a horrible, painful, gruesome death by fire, then eats barbeque? I think Gene's not the only they should have shipped off to the nuthouse.
Gene sent several audioblogs in which he stated that he was converting everyone at the hospital to his way of thinking. He even claimed that the psychiatrist would become a tax protester. Those dreams were shattered when, instead of releasing him as he had assumed they would do, he was shipped off for extended treatment at the state psychiatric hospital. He continued to claim that the psychiatrist at the state hospital was also on board with his beliefs "except the self-immolation stuff".
I think it's more along the lines of not ticking off the crazy guy until you know just how dangerous he really is.
Then suddenly, no one heard from Gene for a while. I'd guess the doctor found out he was still posting his lunacy to the internet via audioblogs, because when he finally did emerge again he said that his phone privileges had been suspended. Since then, he has been sending letters to some guy, who then posts them to TogaDude's blog.
That's when it gets scary. See, a warrant has been issued for TogaDude's arrest. The charge is "reckless endangerment", a criminal offense. It seems that he had a leaking propane line on his RV, discovered the same day he was planning to self-immolate. Is it possible that he planned to blow up the RV? No one can say for sure, but it's certainly within the realm of possibility.
So, what did the doctors have to say about this guy?
The doctors diagnosed me with "Delusional Thinking" because I've dared to dream the impossible dream - The End of the IRS with the self immolation tactic.
They diagnosed me as "narcissistic" because I believe I can change the world and should have the right to see that change.
They diagnosed me as "depressed" because I've fought so many years to get the IRS to respond to my question: "Do I have an income tax liability, and where is it?"
My overall IQ has been tested at "average".
So a guy who plans to set himself on fire in the belief that it will bring the federal government crashing down is a delusional narcissist with an IQ of "average". I think their IQ test must be wrong, since he obviously should have tested at the level of "frickin' 'tard".
If the doctors are right in their diagnosis, it's altogether possible that he did plan to blow up that RV and harm other people. Narcissists are unable to consider others, they can only think of themselves. They're pretty sick puppies. Other narcissists have included Jim Jones of the People's Temple mass suicide and the infamous Charles Manson. Not all narcissists are that dangerous, but some of them are. Of course, delusionals live in a world the rest of us don't see, so they're altogether unpredictable. TogaDude might be quite dangerous, considering what he threatened to do and what they found when they stopped him and took him to the hospital.
TogaDude claims that he didn't even know he had a propane tank. That's interesting, considering that he's a truck driver by trade and had owned the RV for about four years. He was even living in it at the time of this fiasco. He later changed that story by saying he had checked it many times, but there had never been any propane in it. Well, which is it? Did he not know there was a propane tank, or did he check it regularly? Something stinks here, and it's not the propane leaking out of the tank either.
He also claims that what the cops smelled was not propane, but some newly-stained lumber he had kept in the back of his RV several days prior. I do realize that "stain" and "propane" rhyme, but that doesn't mean they smell even remotely alike. Incidentally, the newly stained lumber belonged to his minister, who was one of the people who came to the IRS to see him kill himself. What the hell kind of minister is that?
He now also claims that he never planned to set himself on fire, but only slit his wrists. Interesting, considering that he mentioned self-immolation numerous times, once even referring to walking into the IRS carrying a match and wearing "gasoline cologne". He never mentioned slitting his wrists at the IRS until after the warrant was issued.
Okay, so this is where it gets funny again. He now claims that his desire to self-immolate was due to not having any dates with women. Yet he seems oblivious to the fact that he had no dates with women because he's a freak who wears a toga.
He also says that due to a diagnosis of "dysthmia", he will have to go on social security disability. Hey, wait a minute - I thought the social security number was the "Mark of the Beast"? Apparently not, at least when he can make a buck off it.
Just for reference, "dysthmia" is a low-grade depression. No one gets disability for dysthmia. Lots of people have it and don't even know it. They work and take care of their families, but just don't enjoy life as much as they could.
He also says the doctor stated he might have "a small touch of bipolar". Um, there's no such thing as a "small touch of bipolar". Either you're bipolar, or you're not.
Then again, TogaDude is not known for telling the truth, as I've pointed out many times previously in this blog. He lives in his own little world. He's not necessarily crazy, but he's definitely not sane. He even said that the doctor told him about a week ago that he may not have anything wrong with him at all. I seriously doubt the doctor said that, considering that he's still under an involuntary commitment order.
In the meantime, he thinks the IRS will come to the psych hospital and talk to him about his tax problems. I just don't see that happening.
At any rate, it looks like TogaDude will be in the psych hospital for a while. That's probably a good thing. The last thing we need is yet another mental case going around blowing things up and setting themselves on fire.

TOGADUDE RELEASED FROM PSYCH FACILITY, IMMEDIATELY JAILED
It turns out that I was wrong about how long they'd keep wannabe self-immolator Gene Chapman at the state psychiatric hospital. After detaining him on an involuntary commitment order for 39 days, he was released on Friday 2/11.
He is now a guest of the Greenville County Detention Center on a charge of reckless endangerment. It appears from the jail website that bond was denied, but it's unclear whether that was just because the judge who originally saw him was leaving that decision up to the assigned judge.
Here's the entry from the jail log:
Name: CHAPMAN, GENE KEN
Gender: MALE
Race: WHITE
Date of Birth: 8/24/66
Hair Color: UNKNOWN
Eye Color: BLUE
Height: 5' 09"
Weight: 234 lb
Housing Unit: MHC07 - B# 1 HLD CEL (Building One)
Charge 1 : RECKLESS ENDANGER
Charge Date: 2/11/05
Warrant: H884618
Arresting Agency: CITY OF GREENVILLE
Trial Judge: HAWLEY
Commiting Judge: BINNS
Sentence: 02/11/2005 - No Bond set by Judge
Of particular interest is his height (5'9") and weight (234 lbs). For a man who just recently went through a "death fast" of over 20 days' duration, he sure is hefty. This only confirms the suspicion that he was eating when he said he was fasting.
UPDATE: Gene was sentenced to thirty days in the County Jail on the reckless endangerment charge. He at one point was placed in administrative segregation during that jail stint, but it's unclear why.

"About Gene", or, more correctly, Lies and The Lying Liar Who's Telling Them
About Gene Chapman
Gene Chapman has been a tireless advocate of individual rights for many years.
Gene was featured at givemeliberty.org on May 20, 2003 while doing a death fast in front of the IRS building in Ausin, Texas.
Here's more from Gene...
My most prominent accomplishment to date is that I became a whistleblower in the trucking industry hours-of-service issue at the highest levels of American government in 2001. After a decade of university study in fields like Theology, Economics, Biology, Philosophy and Law and then another half-decade plus of almost one million miles accident free in the trucking industry, I felt the credibility and need to begin a campaign to stop the practice throughout the industry by trucking companies and shippers of forcing truck drivers to choose between an unemployment line and risking our lives day-after-day, overworked by out of date hours-of-service regulations and evermore pressing delivery schedules forced upon us by more and more automation.
This work included extensive research and letter writing between myself and Texas Governor Bush and later President Bush, Senator Phil Gramm, House Majority Leader Dick Armey and top leaders of major American Industry. New hours-of-service regulations came to be in January, 2004, bringing death rates from fatigue related truck wrecks down from about 1,500 per year to 1,290 per year, I'm informed. (If I live to 70 years of age, my work will have influenced saving over 6,000 lives during my lifetime.) That's a lot of daddies, mothers, sons and daughters coming home each night alive, and my work is not finished. I believe we can cut these death rates much further without infringing into the civil liberties of truckers, while raising driver pay.
Gene Chapman
Here's the truth about Gene's education, from my regular blog circa July 2004:
Gene claims to have spent 10 years in university study at three different universities: Baylor, Dallas Baptist, and Tabernacle. He claimed he had a $104,000 scholarship to Baylor. He also claimed he attended seminary.
Guess what?
He attended Baylor from summer 1992 - fall 1993 (one year). He was not on scholarship. He majored in pre-law, minor in philosophy. At one point his declared major was pre-med, but none of his classes reflected that major.
He attended Dallas Baptist from May 1991 - May 1992 (one year). He majored in Biology.
Tabernacle had never even heard of him despite a manual records search.
So we have only two confirmed years of college, no degrees in anything, and no seminary studies.
He claimed that he had been determined to be a musical genius while at Dallas Baptist. According to their records, he took "Piano for Beginners", and that was the only music class he ever took.
He then said that he lived in a monastic setting for 9 years. When that was questioned, he stated that his truck is a rolling monastery. Um, yeah.
Gene did not attend college for anything even approaching ten years, and he admitted in his statement "'Economics Is The Job Presidents Do" that he got most of his economics information over the internet (yet he still can't figure out that he has to pay taxes, which certainly makes that information suspect as well). He never studied theology as a major, he never studied law (pre-law first year students don't study law). This is all a lie, and I have no idea why he thinks no one won't check, especially now that he's running for President.
But, the truth never stopped Gene before, so why would it stop him now? Nevertheless, I think the stockholders of the United States of America, Incorporated, need to know this information, since he wants to be President.
Gene Complains To The FBI About Blogger
Frank's blog is at www.taxprotesters.blogspot.com
See, a couple of years ago Doug had a blog which allowed comments. (Gene has numerous blogs, but at that time none of them allowed comments - in fact, even now, only two of them allow it, because Gene thinks his life is some kind of historical record. Go figure.) The topic of Gene Chapman performing an exorcism on an IRS building, against a "demon" he called "Enslaving Thief", came up on Doug's blog. Frank made a crack about being a Satanist. I remember it vaguely, but the only reason I remember it at all is that it was funny as hell. He didn't threaten Gene Chapman in any way, because I would have remembered that even more vividly.
Nobody took it seriously, it seems, except Gene, and he had the most delayed reaction I have ever seen - over two years, if you can believe that. So once Frank started posting to Gene's presidential blog, Gene decided to sic the FBI on him. Obviously, Gene is completely oblivious to the fact that it's not a crime to make a crack about being a Satanist, but Gene claims that he fears for his life and safety, as well as the life and safety of his family, as a result of that comment.
Tough, Gene. Suck it up and act like a man for once in your pathetic excuse for a life. Nobody threatened you. If they had, you would have made this complaint at that time, instead of waiting until you needed an excuse to shut Frank up.
Gene has repeatedly try to ban Frank from his presidential blog, but he never could figure out how to do it. Then, today, Doug said he had banned Frank.
Guess who the next comment was from? You guessed it, Frank Buckner. LOL. Apparently neither one of these two idiots can figure out how to ban somebody, which is pretty bad considering one of them is the "webmaster".
What follows is Gene's letter to the FBI about Frank Buckner:

Special Agent XXXXXXXXXX
Dallas FBI Office
One Justice Way
Dallas, Texas 75220-5220
Dear XXXXXX:
About two years or so ago, I found a website attacking me. I found this via the help of Mr. Doug Kenline, my current webmaster at ChapmanForPresident08.com. (Yes, I'm seeking the nomination for three parties.)
This attack website is operated by a person who says they are in "security" in Laughlin, Nevada. "Frank Buckner," as he calls himself, is a self professed "Satanist" who has in the past years threatened me with physical violence and has never said a kind word about me, despite never having met me.
Dr. Clarkson J.D., my Southeastern States Campaign Manager, studied his attacks on me and told me that Mr. Buckner is "unstable," "dangerous" and that I should "stay away from him," as nobody takes this kind of interest in another person.
I am asking you to look in on this situation, as Mr. Buckner seems to know a great deal about me, be it flawed and twisted information. He knows that I took beginning piano at Dallas Baptist University, for example, and he cares!
Most respectfully,
Gene K. Chapman,
ChapmanForPresident08.com
Actually, Gene, Frank doesn't care about your "Beginning Piano" class. Like the rest of us, he laughs about it, because you said that you were a "musical genius". If you'd stop making such ridiculous claims, maybe - just maybe - people wouldn't feel the need to confirm everything you say.
Needless to say, the FBI isn't going to do anything with the complaint, and in fact they haven't done anything. They're very well aware of Gene's antics, since he has been a thorn in their side for years, and I'm sure they laugh at him sometimes too. Gene once got upset and told me that I even had his "FBI Handler" laughing at him, and that's probably the only statement he's ever made that I didn't question.
Don't let the title "Dr.", or the "J.D." behind Clarkson's name, fool you. He was disbarred from the practice of law many years ago, for stealing a poor woman's welfare check in an attempt to force her to settle a case, and filing a lien against a client's house even though they didn't owe him any money. Clarkson tried to resign so he could save face, but the South Carolina Supreme Court wouldn't allow it - they would settle for nothing except formal disbarment. Therefore Clarkson's alleged comments - that Frank is "unstable," "dangerous" and that Gene should "stay away from him" - is definitely the pot calling the kettle black, both from Clarkson's viewpoint and Gene's.
Besides, Gene isn't really afraid of Frank Buckner, he just wants Frank to shut up because Frank criticizes him. How do I know this? Simple. Gene posted a comment to Frank on his presidential blog, and said that he was going to come to Laughlin to visit Frank. If he feared for his life, would he do that? Of course not.
This is the man who wants to be President of the United States of America, Incorporated. Do you think he deserves your vote, when he obviously has never read the constitution, er, I mean, the bylaws?
Gene Speaks! "How To Save Your Marriage By Shutting Down The Federal Reserve Banking System"
Huh? That makes no sense, and it will make even less sense after you read what Gene has to say about it:
B 5/ How to Save Your Marriage by Shutting Down the Federal Reserve Banking System
Have you ever considered that the main reason that marriages break up is due to money problems? Have you ever wondered why modern marriages break up at an ever increasing pace? Well, let's examine a few facts.
Karl Marx stated in his book, "The Communist Manifesto": "But Communism abolishes eternal truths, it abolishes all religion and all morality" (p. 242, Penguin Classics Edition), and the Federal Reserve Banking System is the 5th Plank of his manifesto, found on p. 243.
Marriage is a "moral" construct, so we are left to understand that Marx wanted to destroy marriage via Communism. His "community of wives" concept, also in his manifesto, speaks to this end too, so my point is made.
The reality is that government prints up worthless pieces of paper and inflates the money supply of these dollars (Federal Reserve Notes). The home you bought in 1977 for $21,000 (FRN's) is now at $110,000 (FRN's) in 2006. You think you are better off today with the 110,000 FRN house in 2006 than with the 21,000 FRN house back in 1977, but you really are just holding the same piece stuff, watching it rot under your feet and paying more-and-more property taxes on it, all things being equal, waiting for a gas line to burst and burn it down, so you can start the process all over again. All commodity prices eventually rise to keep pace with this government theft of your buying power. But last of all to rise is wages (your paycheck).
So you work three jobs to catch up with the ever increasing commodity price increases, your credit cards are maxed out, you can't afford the baby sitter, and the government builds a new court house where you and the other Americans file Bankruptcy and Divorce papers at an ever increasing rate, all tied in the end to the Federal Reserve Banking System's theft of your property.
It's a Marxist trap designed to destroy your marriage and all moral constructs so that he may build his ruthless global slave state, and Marx didn't even try to hide it from you. Everything that is Communist is designed to this end. I'm running for President of the United States to save your marriage by shutting down the Federal Reserve Banking System and all things Communist. Shouldn't you be voting for Gene Chapman, if you love your marriage?
Gene Chapman
ChapmanForPresident08.com
I don't think a guy who's divorced and couldn't find a wife to save his life has any business telling other people how to save their marriages, since he couldn't save his own. I also think the Federal Reserve has nothing to do with marriage, Marxism, or any of this other shit he flings about like a wild monkey in a cage. Last but not least, I think this is by far one of the stupidest arguments I have ever heard in my entire life.
Do you think this loon deserves your vote for President of the United States of America, Incorporated? I didn't think so.
Run For Your Lives, Ladies - Crazy Gene Is In Heat!
Near Vail, Colorado for the Night
Round Table Talk:
I'm settled in for the night near Vail, Colorado. I went to Safeway to shop, and there was not one ugly woman in the whole place. I couldn't believe my eyes!!! I'll be back.
I also just spoke to a couple of girls in the motel where I'm staying, here at the computer. One is an illegal from Mexico. She, a 16 year old brought over at age 2, was curious on my illegal immigration stand, so I showed her my website and platform. She took it all in, and we will see if she visits the site for further discussion on my policy proposals.
Doug tells me that the 911 Meeting in LA will be replayed on CSPAN Tuesday at 6:10 pm. I don't know the time zones. I saw it Saturday night in my motel room north of Amarillo, Texas and wondered if Washington D.C. would be under seige by morning by the American people. Wow, that BYU professor is the big story. Melted metal at the base of building 7 is something that has to be examined. I support a citizen's physical blockaid of D.C until the FBI turns over the tapes it took from the gas station and the hotel. We can't just let this die.
I will be off to New York City tomorrow. I'll be on !-76 to I-80 all the way from the Denver area, so if you want to have a cup of coffie with me inroute, give me a call. I'm happy to talk issues in person. Gene 972-872-0784.
I responded to this, by writing, "Sheesh, Gene, grow up. You're acting like a teenager in heat, rather than a presidential candidate." Presidential candidate Gene's reply? "I am a teenager in heat (ha ha). You try going through life singe with the moral training I have on my back (ha ha)."
So, this two-ton behemoth who walks around in a sheet and performs exorcisms on buildings - and constantly threatens to set himself on fire to "shut down the IRS" - is in heat. And, he wants to be President of the United States of America, Incorporated.
Let's just pray he never breeds.
Nobody Wants To Play "Debate" With Poor Crazy Gene
Round Table Talk
My Webmaster, Doug Kenline, informs me that he has contacted both the other Libertarian campaigns about setting up a video taped debate somewhere in the country. It has been about 48 hours with no reply, I'm informed. Where are these serious candidates for Prsident of The United States? Gene Chapman.
Chuck Baldwin, the 2004 VP Candidate for the Constitution Party and I spoke on the phone yesterday. He is trying to plan a meeting between Badnarik, myself, top CP members, etc. to discuss unification of the pro-constitution third parties.
I informed Dr. Baldwin that I am to speak in Atlanta on August 28th, be in Chattanooga, TN on October 13 and 14th for a Southern Party related event and be on a tv show in Chicago the middle of September. I'm trying to do one major event per month.
My debate invitation is still out, but my schedule is filling up fast. The CP will not have candidates for a while, Dr. Baldwin informs me.
I am to give a copy of Badnarik's book to an FBI contact of mine in Dallas, as we have lunch together Friday or Saturday. I also hope to show Aaron Russo's movie to the FBI Agent or the whole office then.
We bought $300 worth of bumper stickers today to distribute August 28th in Atlanta. Gene Chapman ( Doug, post this, please.) We also have 1,000 business cards ordered at a cost of $40.00. All monies paid out to date are my own. Gene Chapman.
I'm off to New Mexico if anybody wants to visit at a truck stop. Gene Chapman
posted by Chapman 08 | 9:56 AM | Comments (6) | Trackback
His schedule is filling up fast? The guy is a truck driver, and he has scheduled a couple of events with his fellow loons. I have a feeling he's just trying to cover his ass on the debate front, though, since he and Doug made such a big deal about it.
Besides, the other candidates are running for President of the United States of America, not President of a corporation called "United States of America, Incorporated", so why would they need to debate him at all?
Gene Expounds on Removing All Five Senses as Punishment
It sounds to me like he wants to turn the United States into Nazi Germany. No surprise, since he also posted today that he'd like to be a dictator so he could burn IRS agents for electricity.
Y/ The Five Senses Plan
In my long ordeal with the Internal Revenue Service, 2nd Plank of "The Communist Manifesto," I've come to understand that these Communist Aggressors are incapable of feeling the emotional tragedy they impose upon the supposedly free people of America. It is with this understanding that I introduce and support the Five Senses Plan without reservation.
I think it absolutely morally appropriate to disallow a public servant, elected or otherwise, who is found guilty of attempting to impose one or more of the 10 Planks of "The Communist Manifesto" upon an uncondemned person any experience of sensitivity (taste, touch, hearing, sight and smell).
There are great advances in medical science that would allow this plan to be put in place with minimal pain inflicted upon the convicted Communist Aggressor.
Shouldn't you be voting for Gene Chapman to make your disgust public toward the Domestic Communist Aggression Campaign in the current system of American Government?
Gene Chapman
ChapmanForPresident08.com
I don't know why he thinks the President of "United States of America, Incorporated" would ever have the power to enact laws anyway, so I have no idea what he's blathering about in the first place.
Gene STILL Plans to "Burn Baby Burn"
Some background information so this will make more sense: Larken and Tessa Rose sold CDs that said people don't have to pay income tax. They didn't file taxes for years, and they were finally busted, sent to trial, and a jury found them guilty. Tessa was every bit as much involved in it as Larken. She even bragged in a letter that their young (about 6 at the time, if memory serves) daughter was badmouthing the IRS.
Larkin Rose's Wife Speaks and I Respond
Judge Baylson clearly did not want to put me in prison at all, but when it looked like he was going for six months home confinement, Ms. Davis went somewhat hysterical. She had wanted me in for 15 months, the same as Larken. She was clearly prepared to appeal the sentence if he gave me no prison time at all. She frothed about how nothing but jail time deters "these people." -- Mrs. Larkin Rose.
I told you all that if jail means nothing to us, we win. Gene Chapman
Gandhi was right: "Our capacity to suffer must exceed their capacity to inflict suffering." If we can do jail, they lose. I loved jail. I absolutly loved jail. I really did. I made new friends and heard lots of interesting stories, and if we all go together, we can turn it into a teaching session and sing "Koom By Yah" (SP?). Gene Chapman
These Communist people at the IRS have nothing to throw at us, if we can just make them feed us, clothe us, etc., in jails. It's when they put us on the street that it hurts us most, and they know it. And they know that I'm serious about auto creamation infront of an IRS building, if they attack my world. It's the greatest nonviolent thing we can do to shut them down, but you have to love the idea of burning in the face of evil rather than serving evil. I wish you all could know my freedom from the IRS. They are unarmed to fight me and they know it. All they can do is run me off to a mental hospital for what they cannot "control," try to discredit me in their hospital, just like "The Communist Goals" proclaimed. How do you fight a man's "highest truth?" (religion). You can't, that's why we have a 1st Amendment.
From "The Communist Goals":
38. Transfer some of the powers of arrest from the police to social agencies. Treat all behavioral problems as psychiatric disorders which no one but psychiatrists can understand [or treat].
39. Dominate the psychiatric profession and use mental health laws as a means of gaining coercive control over those who oppose Communist goals.
Gene Chapman.
So, Gene loved being in jail, and he would love setting himself on fire if the IRS bothers him for his back taxes. What he doesn't understand is that the IRS doesn't care if he sets himself on fire.
Then, Gene ranted and raved even more about Tessa Rose. He even brought up the idea of being dictator, and how he would then burn IRS agents. Yep, that's the guy we want in the Oval Office. *eyes rolling*
Important Tax Law Question For Gene
"As Pres. would you pardon Tessa?"
I would utilize the Five Senses Plan on the judge, etc., as President with my platform backed by Congress.
Make me dictator, and I'd tie the IRS agents to light poles across America and burn them at night to save money on electricity. I do not jest.
Pardon of Tessa is not at issue.
Gene Chapman
Whoo-boy. This guy is going off the deep end yet again.
The Presidential "Blogospheric" Debates Are On!
The Lincoln Douglas Debates
Unauthorized Guest Article by Doug Kenline
You and I both know that the Lincoln Douglas debates were nothing more than controlled propoganda by a two party police state even back then.
Gene Chapman understands this new medium known as the blogosphere. Gene advised me that he will indeed challenge all of his opponents to debates here in the blogosphere. The first Presidential blogospheric debates in the history of this great country.
No, Dougie, I don't "know that the Lincoln-Douglas debates were nothing more than controlled propaganda by a two party police state". So I have to ask, who the hell are you even talking to, the pet mouse in your pocket?
The Chapman Phillies Debates
Nothing new at George Phillies' blog. No idea when the last post was made. No date and time stamp.
Perhaps his blog guy Jake Liberty Porter can let us know what the status of his response is.
We have decided to start out the debates with an opening statement by Gene Chapman on the audioblog here at this blog. We will challenge George Phillies to respond to Gene with an opening audioblog statement at his blog.
Stay tuned for an opening audioblog statement from Gene Chapman.
Okay, so apparently Gene really is narcissistic (and Doug's narcissistic, too). They both just assume that everybody is watching his blog, including an MIT-educated Physics professor who undoubtedly has better things to do. Gene's other opponent is comedian Doug Stanhope, and I seriously doubt he's reading Gene's presidential blog either, unless of course he needs material for his standup routine.
Debate
I am proposing a debate between myself and other Libertarian Candidates for President. We need to find out where everyone lives to make it easy for all to attend. I plan to video the thing for the various campaign websites to get our feet wet in the campaign.
We can invite C-SPAN and local media. Gene Chapman
Yes, I'm sure C-SPAN will show up to film a debate between a guy who is running for President of the "United States of America, Incorporated", and two people actually running for President of the United States. Not.
In the meantime, the Phillies campaign posted to the blog, and told Doug to contact them by email to discuss the debate. Doug refused. You'll soon find out why.
George Phillies People Visit Gene Chapman Blog
By Doug Kenline
Jake Liberty Porter from the George Phillies campaign stops by for a visit here at Chapman For President 08 dot com. Thanks for stopping by Jake. As you are well aware, blogs are all about the conversation. Thanks for joining in.
The conversation needs to take place out in the open right here on the blogs. The conversation is the debate. The debate has already started and will never end. Gene Chapman and George Phillies share many common goals. As stated, our objective with the blogospheric debates is to increase the level and quality of blogging in American politics.
Note the techniques being used by the Gene Chapman For President campaign to drag George Phillies into the blogosphere. Envision the winner of the nomination of Presidential candidate for the Libertarian Party using these same techniques to drag the two big Republocrat candidates into the blogospheric debate.
I think if we start dragging in the good and honest leaders like George Phillies first before we try to drag in the crooks and liars, I think that is the way to go. If we can get all of the good and honest leaders of this great country to use the blogs for all that they are worth, to squeeze every drop of power out of his or her blog, if we can get all of the good and honest leaders to do this, then as a coalition of blogging leaders and blog reading, blog savvy voters and citizens, we can have a much greater effect on the two big Demopublican candidates when the time comes.
Time is short. I figure we only have a few months to get all of the good and honest leaders into the blogosphere before it will be time to go after John Bush and George Kerry.
So we need George Phillies on board immediately.
Is George Phillies on board with demanding that John Cheney and Dick Edwards jump on the blogs immediately and give daily status reports to the people?
Does George Phillies support paragraph P of Gene's campaign platform?
P) Require by law all public officials, elected and otherwise, to blog all official daily activities, allowing reader comments in order to maintain a two way dialogue between We The People of The United States and our servant government.
If he is not on board with this, then we challenge him to a debate on this issue. What possible excuse could any elected government official have for not reporting daily to the people on a blog with reader comments? We need to demand this from every elected official.
The only way we are going to be able to do this is to use the power of the blog ourselves. Lead by example. Only by gaining a critical mass of blog reading voters can we hope to have any great effect.
I think Gene would agree that one of his main objectives is to nominate some sort of super third party candidate who can have a real shot at winning.
I submit that this person needs to be nominated in a very short period of time.
I submit that whoever this person is, he or she better damn well have a blog with reader comments that is getting around 300,000 visitors per day.
We have to start working toward this objective now.
A third party super candidate with a blog that gets around 300,000 visitors per day.
The only way we're going to do this is to use the blogs now. Use the blogs now as hard as we can and don't let up until we win.
Let's start getting some attention for this idea. Let's get this blog debate going and ask Doug Stanhope to join in immediately.
I still don't see any response at the George Phillies blog. Please help us with this George. Get on your blog and make a post about what you think about this idea. Or do an audioblog, or a video blog.
Gene will be making regular posts here as well as audioblogs expounding on his thoughts about his platform plank P as well as all of the planks in his campaign platform.
Stay tuned.
Okey-dokey. So Doug and Gene want other candidates to post messages back and forth between blogs, rather than just communicating directly. No one is going to do that.
Yes, I definitely noted the technique Doug and Gene used to draw other candidates to the "blogospheric" debate. It's called "Piss them off because you're too damn lazy to pick up a phone". That ought to work.
"The conversation needs to take place out in the open right here on the blogs. The conversation is the debate. The debate has already started and will never end." WTF? No, dumbass, the conversation is not the debate. The debate has not started. The debate "will never end"? Of course it will, Shit For Brains. And if you think that people will go back and forth between blogs, dig through numerous comments just to see your "conversation", then you really are bat shit insane. No one is going to do that. So either set it up like normal people would, or stop bothering everybody with a debate that you never really intended to have in the first place.
Doug Stanhope Has A Blog
Doug Stanhope has a blog on MySpace. I think it has a lot of room for improvement and I don't see any reader comments, but it is a start. Doug, please join us in the blogospheric debate challenge.
More on Doug Stanhope here...
www.dougstanhope.com
His official campaign website appears to be down at this time....
www.stanhope08.com
Actually, the Stanhope blog allows not only comments, but also avatars and photos. It has a very active comments section, and thousands of people are "friends" of his blog (meaning that they are registered users of his blog). Stanhope also has a LOT of people commenting there already, whereas Gene has less than 5 people commenting. All but one of the people commenting on Gene's blog are only there to make fun of him. The other one is Robert Ingle, the first co-complainant in Gene's bizarro "Slave Freedom/Mark of the Beast class Action Suit" discussed previously.
The Phillies Stanhope Debates
We need to get George Phillies and Doug Stanhope debating back and forth on their blogs. We need to get all third party Presidential candidates involved in the Gene Chapman blogospheric debate challenge immediately.
Okay, we get the idea. You want to have a debate, but you're too stupid to figure out that no one wants to debate a crazy guy. So you wonder why you have no takers. Does that just about sum it up?
Free Conference Calls
We would like to set up a conference call with a representative from the George Phillies campaign to test out the free conference call system and recording the call using the free odeo audioblog recorder.
If it is successful we would then like to repeat the call again this time also including a representative from the Doug Stanhope campaign.
We will be discussing ways that we can use the blogs to amplify our message. We will also discuss what our message should be and our respective campaign platforms.
We are thinking of sometime around 11 A.M. to 12 Noon ET during the week or anytime on the weekend.
The first call will last for 30 minutes as a test and subsequent calls will be one hour duration.
Apparently miracles really do never cease. Gene and Doug figured out that they have to contact these people directly if they want to have a debate. Yet, there are still no takers.
Contact George Phillies
Gene is going to contact George Phillies to talk about some issues.
Okay, so Gene and Doug finally figured out that these people are never going to contact him. So, Gene decides to contact them instead.
No word yet on whether anybody answered the phone (or email), even though that was posted two days ago. I'm sure by now his opponents have googled Gene and figured out they're dealing with a lunatic.
Gene Speaks! "Bush and Castro"
Bush and Castro
The other day, I was watching on television the Bush Administration's desire to help in a "peaceful democratic change in Cuba." CHANGE TO WHAT?
Cuba has a tax system based on Marx's plan. So does the United States. Our effective tax rate is 54%, while Cuba's effective tax rate is 90-95%. So Bush wants us to cut their tax rate by 36%?
The U. S. Government locks up political and religious opponents like me, for example. So does Cuba.
Our property rights do not exist in America, and it's the same with Cuba.
We have a secular public school system, and so does Cuba.
Our President tells the New York Times when it better watch out, and so does Fidel Castro to his press agency.
Name one thing America has in it's political system that is fundamentally different than Cuba, and I'll go to Little Havana and tell the Bay of Pigs Veterans (several are my friends) that they need to quit telling me that America is "Socialista."
We didn't lose Vietnam, and we didn't win the Cold War. Our leaders became Communists, just like their friend, Fidel Castro Ruiz.
Gene Chapman
ChapmanForPresident08.com
Duh, Gene. A "peaceful democratic change" means a change to a democracy rather than a dictatorship.
Duh, Gene. You weren't locked up because you were a political and religious opponent. You were locked up in jail because you planned to set yourself on fire while standing next to an RV with a leaking propane tank; that's called "reckless endangerment". You were locked up in the psych ward because you thought if you set yourself on fire, you could end the Internal Revenue Service.
So if you think you were locked up because you were a political and religious opponent, that only proves the doctors were right when they diagnosed you as delusional.
Duh, Gene. We have secular public schools because people like you aren't smart enough to teach their own children without the US falling far behind the rest of the world. There's also that pesky little "separation of church and state" issue which prevents the government from establishing religious schools, so secular is the only choice.
That's in the United States Constitution, Gene. You might want to actually read it sometime.
Oh, that's right. You're running for President of the "United States of America, Incorporated". Oh, well. Maybe it's in their bylaws. ROFLMAO
Gene Speaks! Initial Campaign Speech
Highest Truth: The August 28, 2006 Speech Beginning the Campaign For President
As many of you know, I have been working for several years in an effort to unite America's religious leaders in standing up in opposition to the Domestic Communist Aggression Campaign of the Republicrat Party waged against the individual rights of all Americans. I have recently come to the sad conclusion that all the major religious leaders of America, from Billy Graham, to Jerry Falwell, to James Kennedy, to Pat Robertson, to John Hagee and right on down the line have in one way or another bowed their knee to the proverbial golden image of Karl Marx. Thus, I dust my shoes of America's socalled "religious leaders," today, here, now.
The religion of Marxism rules the land from every 501c3 church house, to every state house and even to the White House, I must report. Religion being defined as, "the seeking by an individual or group of individuals to honor what they perceive to be the highest truth," I do not withdraw my assertion that a religion of Marxist evolutionary non-theistic assumptions is what we fight.
The Marxist finds a Rollex watch in the dirt and proclaims that Carbon 14 dating ensures that it took 4.5 million years for this watch to evolve out of nothing. Harvard University gives him a doctorate and he lectures the world on Rollex Evolutionary Theory. He is elected to office by an electronic voting machine made by his cousin and imposes his moronic assumptions upon the whole population. All the while, you and I stand back like Charelton Heston in the movie, "Planet of The Apes," thinking to ourselves, "Get your paws off me, you dirty ape."
The Marxist' highest truth is that man is to be nothing more than an enslaved cog in a state machine of ruthless economic efficiency, having no more purpose or dignity than used toilet paper, to be thrown away when used up. The Marxist holds virtue in contempt and proposes that divine concepts like mercy, love and liberty are the delusions of the weak minded.
I say that it is a scientific fact that design in our universe demands a designer. I assert that this designer may only be presumed to be the ultimate designer of virtue, mercy and liberty and that this designer has many names but is also named Love. I hold Love to be the highest truth, not Marxism.
The highest truth the Marxist must understand is that Marx is not the designer; thus, my "unalienable rights" are not the Marxist's to give to me or take away from me.
And so in service to this highest truth, Love, and in absolute opposition to the Marxist evolutionary assumption toward global enslavement of the individual, I officially announce here today that I am seeking the nomination for President of The United States by the Libertarian Party, the Constitution Party and the Southern Parties.
I am Gene Chapman, and I would like your vote.
Wow. I've never heard of the "Rollex [sic] Evolutionary Theory". I also have no idea what Marxism has to do with evolution.
But, I guess when you're addressing people who would even consider voting for someone who wears a toga and thinks he's the reincarnation of Gandhi, you have to word it in a way that they will understand.
Gene Speaks! "Gene Chapman's Gifts and I.Q."
Gene Chapman's Gifts and I.Q.
The Presidential Nomination Process Continues:
Back in the early 1990's, I was a Biology/ Pre-Med student at Dallas Baptist University in Dallas, Texas. One semester, I found myself having trouble in Chemistry class, as many of us do.
Quickly, I went to my teacher and was directed to the Dean of Academics. The dean arranged for me to take a very expensive test, paid for by a university benefactor, several miles away in Irving, Texas. The testing lasted three days, eight hours per day. Wednesday, Thursday and then Friday came and went without a hitch.
At the end of the testing on Friday, I was called into the testing center office where we reviewed my test results in a whole range of aptitudes. My finger dexterity and inductive reasoning skills were not all that good, the test results proposed.
The man reviewing my test results explained that inductive reasoning is essential in the medical doctor profession, as it demands that one must look at a whole range of symptoms and determine that you have "The Mumps," for example. So being a medical doctor was out for me. And so I quickly redirected my studies into other areas.
What the man showed me next was that I rated very high in deductive reasoning skills and four areas of musical aptitude. He reported to me that these areas were the aptitude equivalent of "genius" (his words, not mine). I also rated high middle range in "foresight," the test paper revealed. Foresight is the ability to see end outcomes, based upon past information, while Deductive Reasoning is the ability to think through problems from A-Z, all things being equal, according to the test giver's review. If "A" thru "X" is true, then "Y" is true; it's linear thinking "like a lawyer" would do, he said.
So I went away believing that I was limited in some areas and gifted in others. And I was motivated to use any gifts to make the world a better place, hence my work at SlaveFreedom.com and in the hours-of-service issue.
Fastforward to January, 2005, and I found myself at the Patrick B. Harris Psychiatric Hospital in Anderson, South Carolina, under observation for my socalled "genius" efforts (tongue-in-cheek) at brinkmanship with the IRS.
Evidently, my "foresight" ability had failed, as I watched the hospital staff, on one of many occasions, pin a 350 lb. man to the ground and stick a needle in his rear end full of something that changed who he was. This was very, very frightening to me. The doctor too informed me that he had court sanctioned authority to drug me all he wanted and that the Federal Government was watching my treatment and that they wanted me "controlled." (I can handle life in prison for what I think is right, but being drugged out of my mind by the U. S. Government, into something else, I'd never fully contemplated until then.)
My "foresight" ability suddenly kicked back in (ha ha), and I saw myself buried in a maze of these places for the rest of my life, drugged out of my mind. Other senior patients commented that "everybody knows that there is nothing wrong with you," and that "you'd better get out of here before you get stuck in the system." All the staff ever ruled was that I was "depressed" from my long fight with the IRS and my failed lifelong search for a godly, supermodel wife who could suck a golf ball through a garden hose.
The testing in college came up in the hospital stay, so they gave me about an hour-and-a-half written I.Q. test. I wasn't that impressed with the test relative to the three day test I'd taken years before, but I think the results were pretty accurate. They concluded that I was almost exactly average in I.Q., my age relative to what information I gave them. It just compared me to other people my age.
I did rush, not knowing that I had more time to take the test, so I could have done better. The conclusion was that I had verbal skills at 95 and non-verbal skills at 96. Average is 95. So I'm a guy who is average for my age and with a little gift in linear thinking.
Gene Chapman
ChapmanForPresident08.com
Okay. So, Gene has admitted that he has an IQ of only 96 (average IQ by definition is 100, while average IQ for people who were educated in the US is 103, so I have no earthly idea where he got the idea that "average is 95"), but he seems to think he could have done better on the test had he taken more time. That's not true. He probably would have scored worse if he had taken more time, simply because that's how those tests work. Your first answer is probably the most accurate one your brain can devise.
Clearly the IQ results are valid, since he took two tests, over a decade apart, and both tests measured his IQ at the same level. So, what can a person with an IQ of 96 accomplish? Most are clerks, tellers, and in other menial positions. They are certainly not capable of running the country, without any doubt whatsoever.
By the way, aren't inductive reasoning skills essential for the presidency? After all, the President has to look at a whole range of information and figure out what's going on so he can take appropriate action (not unlike a doctor would do with an illness). Yet, Gene admits that his "inductive reasoning skills were not all that good".
Note the italicized section, which refers to his stay in the psychiatric hospital. Here, he says he was just depressed because he couldn't find a "godly, supermodel wife who could suck a golf ball though a garden hose". Without going into the misogynistic nature of that statement, at the time of his hospitalization he told quite a different story. At that time, in a letter written while he was still in the psychiatric hospital, he wrote the following:
The doctors diagnosed me with "Delusional Thinking" because I've dared to dream the impossible dream - Tne End of the IRS with the self immolation tactic.
They diagnosed me as "narcissistic" because I believe I can change the world and should have the right to see that change. They diagnosed me as "depressed" because I've fought so many years to get the IRS to respond to my question: "Do I have an income tax liability, and where is it?"
Clearly, Gene has a very serious problem with truthfulness. I think we've had enough pathological liars in the White House .... er, I mean the Board Room of the United States of America, Incorporated. ;-)

American Christians
Re: Invitation to Join a "Slave Freedom/ Mark of The Beast Class Action Law Suit."
My Fellow Christians:
In conversations with Greek scholars at the highest theological levels of both Bob Jones University and the Southern Baptist Convention, along with my own studies, I found that there are three primary attributes of slavery in antiquity:
1) Taxation of Property (1st, 3rd and 4th Planks of "The Communist Manifesto").
2) Taxation of Labor (income tax: flat or graduated/ 2nd Plank).
3) Counting People Like Cattle (to control labor and/ or property).
For more study: (andrapodistes.blogspot.com).
I found also in a read of "The Communist Manifesto" that the function of its 10 Planks is to twist a nation with a free market economy (including freedom of conscience and free exchange of ideas) into an atheistic, secular humanist socialist communist slave state.
Under the class action, we assert that the United States Government has:
1) adopted a state religion called, "Secular Humanist Socialist Communism" and now imposes this Global Secular Humanist Socialist Communist state slave religion upon American Christians (82% of the U.S. population according to Cable News Network), directly violating Exodus 10:3, I Timothy 1:9-10 ("enslavers"), I Corinthians 7:21-23, Ephesians 6:4, Revelation 13:17, Judges 3 and the 1st, 5th, 10th and 13th Amendments to the United States Constitution, along with the concept of "liberty," in the first paragraph of our American Constitution. They have imposed slavery, by definition, upon a people who are called by God to:
(a) "use" freedom from slavery (taxation of labor, taxation of property and being counted like cattle) in I Corinthians 7:21b, if already enslaved, and
(b) in an application of I Corinthians 7:23, reject slavery categorically, if already free. [Greek based expanded translation of I Corinthians 7:22b-23: "[H]e that is called, being free, is Christ's slave. You [free Christians] are bought with a price, be categorically not ye the literal, figurative, involuntary or voluntary slaves of men." (See: "Strong's Exhaustive Concordance of The Bible," #1401: "servants," doulos -- a slave (literal, figurative, involuntary or voluntary).]
2) especially since 9/11/2001 imposed new uses for the Social Security Number that are unrelated to its original intent of individual dealings with the Social Security Administration, such that one may now not "buy" land, cars, homes, cell phones, credit cards, bank accounts, renewed professional licenses, pass ports, etc. "or sell" labor (see: Revelation 13:17) and many types of property without the Government imposed control number (see: Revelation 13 and 14), resulting in a very real emotional torture of tens of millions of American Christians.
3) sought most visibly through the United Nations, Democrat Party, U.S. Tax System, Secular Public School System, and American Judiciary to oust Biblical Christianity from America's shores over many decades of gradual changes in our local, state and federal laws, in accordance with the stated function of the 10 Planks.
4) engaged in an extortion of funds from the Christian people of America and the larger American population by never having legally ratified the 16th Amendment of The United States Constitution by a two-thirds majority vote of the states. (Note: "[N]either . . . thieves . . . , nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God" (I Corinthians 6:9-10). Furthermore, this Government has confessed concerning the income tax: "There is no single sentence anywhere that indicates an individual has a tax liability" (Mr. Terry Lemons, Communications Director of the Internal Revenue Service made this statement to me, Gene Chapman, in the main lobby of the Main IRS Building, 1111 Constitution Ave., Washington D.C., on September 2, 2004 at between 1 and 2 p.m. Eastern Time in front of two Treasury Agents (names withheld at this time)).
Relief sought: Do away with or allow a simple "opt out" with no negative consequences for Christians who do not wish to be slaves (opt out of the 10 Planks of "The Communist Manifesto"), attend Secular Public Schools (10th Plank of "The Communist Manifesto") or be in such close proximity to the "mark of the beast" issue, in accordance with Biblical teaching. No requirement to have or use a national id card, etc.
Like a giant python, the U.S. Government is squeezing Christians into the mold of slavery and the "mark of the beast" more each day. The Social Security Number is now, since 9/11/2001, indistinguishable in American law from the "mark of the beast" for the first time in American history. We have an opportunity here to set a strong legal precedent that will both free Christians from slavery now and perhaps give some breathing room to those Christians who will live through the time of the Beast.
(Note: According to I Corinthians 7:21b, one might infer that when Christians do not seek freedom from slavery (i.e. income taxes: flat or graduated, property taxes and being counted like cattle), it may cost souls their salvation in Christ. The human author of Corinthians, Paul the Apostle, used his freedom to win souls; he feels clearly that there is a "use" for our freedom.
Also, in Exodus 10:3, Almighty God asserts that there is a direct causal relationship between the people of God being slaves and their inability to properly "serve" God.
In my own situation, I have been working several years to gain a visa to Ghana and The Sudan to see what can be done to free Christians enslaved there, but my refusal to use a Social Security number on an international document has constrained me from leaving America's 50 state plantation. My U. S. Government constrained mission to do my job as a Christian minister may even be costing souls contact with the Gospel and resulting Salvation by U. S. policy decisions.
In Judges 3, we find two stories of how God raised up deliverers and sent them to kill kings who had enslaved the people of God (taxed their labor and/ or property).)
In Daniel, we find the story or Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego, who refused to worship an alternative religious figure at the demand of the political leader, King Nebuchadnezzar. They resisted unto death, if need be. In America, a nation that has adopted all ten planks of "The Communist Manifesto," the demands of an alternative religion are imposed upon the Christian people to worship the proverbial golden image of Karl Marx, an open Anti-Christ and false prophet of Secular Humanist Socialist Communism (a religion of Atheism). He was and is through his followers engaged in a direct and open attack upon the Christian religion through the 10 Planks of his manifesto (see: pp. 242-244). Thus, to pay the income tax, property tax, use a social security number, send children to a secular public school, utilize Federal Reserve Banking, pay estate taxes, obey farm controls and gun control/ licensing laws, etc., found in "The Communist Manifesto" and associated Communist materials is to commit idolatry for the American Christian.
Finally, Holy Scripture indicates that there will be a shadowy ambiguity present in the world surrounding the imposition of the 'mark of the beast' (see: Revelation 13:18).
In a day when a one world government is already in place in the form of the United Nations (see: Revelation 13:12). . .
In a day when governments around the world are counting their citizens like cattle in order to impose income taxes and property taxes (see: Revelation 13 and 14) . . .
In a day when the American Social Security Number is not allowing us to "buy or sell" (Revelation 13:17) without it . . .
In a day when our own American soldiers are having Global Positioning identifier microchips placed under their skin by our Government, Christians are no longer in a position to toy with any shadowy ambiguity that may be left in the slavery/ mark of the beast issue. Its paws are on our chest, and it is licking us in the face.
I look forward to a letter from you and Christians you know in signing on as Co-Complainants to the Class Action soon. We are now studying law firms to handle this unique case with a $40,000 per year present budget.
Most respectfully,
Gene Chapman,
2008 U.S. Presidential Candidate
ChapmanForPresident08.com or SlaveFreedom.com
Understanding Exhibit A 1-5
1) We read on page 242 of "The Communist Manifesto," published by Penguin Classics: "When the ancient world was in its last throes, the ancient religions were overcome by Christianity."
Karl Marx and Friedrich Engles assert here that the Christian religion overcame all other ancient theistic religions.
2) Exhibit A2 presents the following: "When Christian ideas succumbed in the 18th century to rationalist ideas . . . ."
Marx's assumption here is that Christianity was intellectually superior to all previous religions but that now it too has been overcome by Rationalism.
3) Exhibit A3 states: "But Communism abolishes eternal truths, it abolishes all religion, and all morality. . . ."
In context, Marx views Christianity as the last religion to be overcome by his Rationalism; thus, Christianity stands as the paramount "religion" that Communism abolishes.
4) On page 243, Exhibit A4 reads: "Of course in the beginning, this cannot be effected except by despotic inroads on the rights of property . . . ."
Marx tells us that his mechanism to abolish the Christian religion is to undermine property rights.
5) On pages 243 and 244, Exhibit A5 is ten planks that are presented in American society, designed to destroy the Christian religion over time, as follows:
1. Property taxes and Eminent Domain Laws.
2. Income Taxes.
3. Inheritance Taxes.
4. Confiscation of Property from Emigrants and Those The Government Dislikes.
5. Federal Reserve Banking to Empower Deficit Spending.
6. FCC and Interstate Commerce Commission.
7. Farm Controls.
8. WPA, CCC and Peace Corps.
9. Population Control Laws.
10. Secular Public Schools.
So Gene not only thinks he's a slave, he is planning to sue the government over his "Slave Freedom/Mark of the Beast" issues. Again, I will remind you that Gene Chapman stopped paying taxes years before he came up with either argument, so the arguments are clearly just a ruse to try to get out of his obligation to pay taxes.
Whoo-boy.
I have no idea why he thinks the government has planted GPS chips under the skin of soldiers. As far as I can tell, they have only given them GPS devices to carry while in a war zone, and that's for their own protection. He probably got it off some wingnut conspiracy theory site. Or, maybe, he just made it up; or perhaps the voices in his head told him. Who knows.

Gene Speaks! "'Economics' Is The Job Presidents Do"
"Economics" Is The Job Presidents Do
The one field I feel most capable in is that of Economics. This blog will allow me to share, as a kind of job application, that I feel I deserve the nomination for both President of The United States, Inc. and President of The United States of America in the Libertarian, Constitution and Southern Parties.
My economics training consists of several university level classes, where I remember making nothing lower than an "A." (Grades will be presented on all my studies at a later date.)
Later, I studied the ideas of Mr. Warren Buffett in great detail, including his Columbia University professor, Ben Graham and others. David Clark, co-author of the renown book entitled, "Buffettology," by Mary Buffett and David Clark, was a boy in the neighborhood with Mr. Buffett's children, who grew up to become a lawyer in Omaha and taught me on the internet for a couple of years the things he learned in the Buffett home about microeconomic theory. He became my entrance into the "Buffettville' community.
Mr. Buffett actually took time out of his day a couple of times in 1998 to write me and slap me on the back concerning my work, but he made clear that he was not offering an endorsement, as his endorsement means millions to a young investor, and Buffett doesn't like to get involved in other people's money matters.
It was this economic study that led me to study the personal income tax issue for which I am now known so well. If I was good "Buffettville" people, I thought, then I should do well in tax law. This journey led me to discover that there are a range of serious problems with tax laws. We will explore this in the future. Gene Chapman
Where to start, where to start ...
Okay, I will freely admit that it's pretty damn convenient that Gene doesn't "remember" making anything less than an A in college. That being said, he also doesn't remember being fired just a few years ago, even though he then sued his employer and appealed the decision all the way to the US District Court.
The truth is, he also said he had a scholarship worth 104K, but when I called to confirm it, I was told there was no way he was a scholarship student because he grades wouldn't have supported a scholarship. I'll post more on his false educational claims later.
As I told you, he lies a lot.
So, he claims Warren Buffett wrote him a couple of letters. That might be true, since I'm sure Mr. B writes letters back to any nitwit who writes to him, but I'd still have to see those letters before I'd believe it. See, Warren Buffett doesn't have any idea who Gene Chapman is, which obviously makes that claim suspect especially given Gene's other proven lies.
More about his many lies later.
Gene's main problem with the tax laws, as previously discussed, is that he has to pay taxes at all. In fact, he doesn't pay taxes, and he makes no secret of that, either. He had a lamebrained scheme a while back to help people establish "home churches" so they would become tax exempt like churches. I don't think I need to tell you that there is no such thing as a tax-exempt "home church".
Yet, he wants to be President of the United States of America and the United States of America, Inc. Um, I don't think so.
In fact, he won't even get a nomination. See, the Libertarian Party believes that government should stay out of economics, yet Gene thinks "Economics Is The Job Presidents Do". (The Libertarian Party also believes that government should not get involved in conflict unless it directly affects American soil, yet Gene wants to nuke everybody who pisses him off).
I could go on and on, but you get the idea.
Gene and the Heartland Express Fiasco
That questionable statement was:
I was never fired by Heartland Express. They seperated my employment because I refused to work in their system, as it then stood -- killing people. I'll have to read the case someday, but I was there and there was no firing. They just played a better hand than my lawyer. It wasn't even about the facts in the end. It was about Iowa being a right to work state. I wasn't even going to bring a case, just attack them with billboards, but the truck safety commuinty wanted me to push the case. In the end, the judge felt the water for a reunion was spoiled by my billboard campaign against Heartland. But I won the war in the end with new hours of service regulations.
Not true. See, Chapman v Heartland Express of Iowa, Case No. 2001-STA-35 (January 8, 2002):
"Complainant testified that he was fired on August 28, 2000 after a meeting with Richard Meehan, Heartland's Executive Vice-President."
"Mr. Meehan testified that he was responsible for letting Complainant go."
"Additionally, he proved that adverse action was taken against him by Respondent, which resulted in his unemployment. However, he failed to prove that he was terminated because he engaged in these protected activities."
Obviously everyone - Gene, the guy who fired Gene, and the judge hearing Gene's court case - all agreed that Gene had been fired. Besides, if Gene hadn't been fired, he couldn't have then filed a claim for retaliatory discharge under the Whistleblower Protection Act (which he lost).
According to the case, Gene refused to take loads, refused to drive at night, and just generally whined about his lack of beauty sleep. They fired him because they considered Gene to be a safety hazard.
Funny how he can reinterpet that, and how he allegedly never read the decision (even though it was repeatedly appealed, and he repeatedly lost, which certainly suggests he probably read it at least once).
In that same case, the Administrative Law Judge specifically found that Gene admitted under oath that he lied in his log book, stating that he had gotten eight hours of sleep when he had only gotten two. Gene broke the law when he did that, and had he become involved in "killing people", he would have had only himself to blame. Heartland Express never told him to lie, and he never claimed they told him to lie.
I therefore find it extremely hard to believe that Gene Chapman had anything whatsoever to do with the new hours of service regulations, since he is a prime example of the type of irresponsible jerk they were trying to get off the road in the first place.
Clearly, telling the truth is not Gene's strong suit. This is just the tip of the proverbial iceberg insofar as Gene's lies go, though. Stay tuned.
Will Gene Chapman be the first Slave President?
Let's start with some quotes from Gene's regular blog:
If a 100% tax on labor is absolute slavery, cut and dried, then wouldn't it stand that a 1% tax on labor is a degree of slavery? And if property is the physical manifestation of labor, then isn't a tax on property "slavery" in it's end? And for one to impose slavery to any degree upon a free person is "andrapodistes" (I Timothy 1:10): "one who unjustly reduces free men to slavery." Right out of the Greek lexicon.
and
"menstealers"/ "enslavers" (I Timothy 1:10): (Greek word: andrapodistes) Those who impose a taxing of labor (i.e. property/ income tax) upon uncondemned free persons; thus, under the judgment of the Moral Law of God.
"Slave" (I Corinthians 7:23): (Greek word: dulos) One whose labor and/ or benefit thereof is by force claimed by another.
Christians are instructed to persue freedom from slavery: "[I]f you may be made free [from slavery (taxation of labor and/ or property)], use it rather [for the winning of souls to Christ for salvation]" (I Corinthians 7:21b).
Now, you can look up these Bible passages for yourself and, when you put them into context with the surrounding passages, you will clearly see that it says nothing even approaching what Gene claims it says. Context is completely lost on Gene, but I guess that's to be expected when a guy with a 96 IQ decides to interpret the Bible.
Basically, what Gene does is to take just a couple of words out of context, and twist them to fit his agenda. His agenda is to not pay taxes. Before you start feeling sorry for a guy who appears to be just exercising his freedom of religion, bear the following in mind.
Gene stopped paying taxes years before he decided it was against his religion to pay them. Clearly, the religion was made up just to cover his ass with the IRS. It won't work, though.
He claims that two "Greek scholars" (one of whom is an "upscale house painter") agree with him. Well, if an "upscale house painter" agrees, then it must be true ... right?
So, Gene took it a step further, and proposed a constitutional amendment to stop him from being a "slave". That constitutional amendment stated
There shall be no Government slavery (i.e. income tax) and no Government armed robbery (i.e. property tax).
I'm sure it won't surprise you to know that he only got 86 internet signatures, and most of those "signatures" were along the lines of "Ugota B Jokin".
Gene also interprets Supreme Court decisions (which is even scarier than interpreting the Bible, when you think about it). As always, he takes things out of context. On his blog, for example, he has the following quote:
Justice Burger -- "Religious beliefs can be accommodated...." United States v. Lee 455 U.S. 252 (1982).
Great, but there's one problem with that. That's just a partial sentence, and it is taken out of context. The real quote, in context, is
The Court has long recognized that balance must be struck between the values of the comprehensive social security system, which rests on a complex of actuarial factors, and the consequences of allowing religiously based exemptions. To maintain an organized society that guarantees religious freedom to a great variety of faiths requires that some religious practices yield to the common good. Religious beliefs can be accommodated, but there is a point at which accommodation would "radically restrict the operating latitude of the legislature."
and the Court concluded in that case with the following:
Congress and the courts have been sensitive to the needs flowing from the Free Exercise Clause, but every person cannot be shielded from all the burdens incident to exercising every aspect of the right to practice religious beliefs. When followers of a particular sect enter into commercial activity as a matter of choice, the limits they accept on their own conduct as a matter of conscience and faith are not to be superimposed on the statutory schemes which are binding on others in that activity. Granting an exemption from social security taxes to an employer operates to impose the employer's religious faith on the employees. Congress drew a line in 1402(g), exempting the self-employed Amish but not all persons working for an Amish employer. The tax imposed on employers to support the social security system must be uniformly applicable to all, except as Congress provides explicitly otherwise.
Clearly, that court case does not support his position; quite the opposite, in fact.
Anyway, I told Gene on his presidential blog that he's not a slave, and pointed out that the proof of it is the fact that he's running for President. His scathing retort? "That's your opinion."
Yes, Gene, it's my opinion that you're not a slave. It is also the opinion of everybody with more than one brain cell.
Gene Chapman's Presidential Platform
Gene Chapman's Platform
Gene Chapman Platform for Libertarian, Constitution and Southern Party Presidential Nomination:
A) Right to keep and bear arms to be as common as the right to breathe oxygen.
B) To protect 1st Amendment Religious Liberty, abolish all ten planks of "The Communist Manifesto" and associated communist activities.
Re: "But Communism abolishes eternal truths, it abolishes all religion and all morality" (p.242, "The Communist Manifesto," Penguin Classics Edition).
Ten Planks of "The Communist Manifesto":
1. Property taxes and Eminent Domain Laws.
2. Income Taxes.
3. Inheritance Taxes.
4. Confiscation of Property from Emigrants and Those The Government Dislikes.
5. Federal Reserve Banking to Empower Deficit Spending.
6. FCC and Interstate Commerce Commission.
7. Farm Controls.
8. WPA, CCC and Peace Corps.
9. Population Control Laws.
10. Secular Public Schools.
C) Right to life of the unborn child to be the same as any other human life in America.
D) Right to die with dignity at one's own choosing protected.
E) Abolish state sanctioned marriage, making state sanctioned gay/ straight marriage a moot issue, while putting marriage back into the hands of the individual, the church and God where it belongs.
F) Legalize smoking in one's own vehicle; shut down all open container laws, state camera and GPS chip monitoring of our people; highways, street corners, etc., as a matter of personal liberty.
G) Break down barriers between Libertarian, Constitution and Southern Parties for cross support of pro-constitution candidates and possible unification, while working to educate Socialist Communism out of the Democrats, Republicans and Green Party.
H) Tear down substantial sections of Bureau of Land Management fencing and build bike paths and walkways throughout America so the people may enjoy their country again and travel more freely.
I) Appoint a White House Commission to examine the "9/11 Controlled Demolition Evidence," as such prominent credentialed experts/ professors are now demanding this attention. (MIT Doctoral Candidate Rick Rajter: Campaign's "9/11 Advisor").
J) Do away with the Death Penalty and replace it with a policy of removing the convicted criminal's body parts (all or some) that were involved in the commission of a violent crime, releasing the person back into society once healed. (Judges will have great discression in this approach, ending the torture of long jail terms, as well.)
K) Place Illegal Immigration under the control of local sheriffs', and fund them. Invite Mexico and Canada into the union if they like, then impose a one year county jail term on illegal aliens, picking up trash on our highways before deportation.
L) To restore benevolence functions to the church and the individual where it belongs and stop state control of our personal lives, shut down all Social Security Administration activities, returning all monies paid in plus 10% compounded interest (the average of all interest rates).
M) The King Solomon Solution: As King Solomon proposed the division of the item in dispute between two people while allowing neither the upper hand, so I propose that the international community buy out the Jews and Palestinians and move their land on barges to opposite ends of the earth to shut down the conflict. This will allow a two state solution at a distance. It is the only solution short of unending war between the parties that does not seem to me to violate the religions of any party.
N) As a matter of improved highway safety and transportation utilization, lower all highway grades by 2%; increase fine to $3,000 for 14 hour rule violations, divided evenly between truck driver, trucking company and shipper. (I also propose an option to allow over-the-road drivers to select a 12 hour on duty/ 12 hour off duty, with no 70 hour rule approach to driving, with three 24 hour periods off duty minimum per month.)
O) Abolish voluntary servitude coercion by the U. S. Government by passing the Slave Freedom Amendment.
P) Require by law all public officials, elected and otherwise, to blog all official daily activities, allowing reader comments in order to maintain a two way dialogue between We The People of The United States and our servant government.
Q) Withdraw Federal support systems for the oil cartels and other abusive monopolies like Idle Aire Corporation, allowing the free market to find energy and clean air solutions.
R) The Elder Court System: To return law back to the community, I propose to return most or all of the American court system back over to supervision by religious and other communities in the local areas where the crimes and many of the criminals reside, so an individual may be tried and judged by those holding the same theistic or non-theistic values as the accused.
S) The Checkerboard Plan: If a world conflict is serious enough to risk the life of one American footsoldier, it's big enough to use a nuclear bomb, I say. S. Government around the world.)
T) Explore the legalization of marajuana with a White House Commission headed by Michael Badnarik.
U) Stop Domestic Communist Aggression Campaign by Democrats and Republicans (Republicrats) against pro-constitution third party candidiates of keeping us from ballot and televised debate access. Non-Communists deserve a chance too.
V) Outlaw all electronic voting machines and return America to the more trustworthy paper ballot voting system.
W) The Cuban Plan: Offer full U.S. Citizenship to all Cuban Exiles in the Unites States and to all political and religious prisoners in Cuban jails, then provide free guns, boats, planes, etc. to anyone who wants to go to Cuba to free our jailed citizens.
X) The White House Open Door Policy: At every opportunity I can, I shall allow protest leaders at the White House gate to come in and articulate their concerns face-to-face in a relaxed seated environment with me.
Y) The Five Senses Plan: I propose that any American public servant, elected or otherwise, found guilty of imposing one or more of the ten planks of "The Communist Manifesto" upon another uncondemned person shall have all five senses removed, allowed to heal and returned into society.
Z) Charter the American Libertarian University in Austin, Texas.
Obviously, based on his platform alone, Gene should never have been released from the mental institution. Want to hear something really scary? This nut drives a big rig. I can actually picture him driving a truck into an IRS building, filled with explosive fertilizer a'la Timothy McVeigh.
Luckily, the FBI has been watching his lard ass for years, and they monitor his activities since he is considered to be a serious threat. So don't kid yourself, this guy is not just some crazy on the corner picking his nose and yelling obscenities at passersby, because the Eff-Bee-Eye doesn't monitor those people. They've been monitoring Gene for years, though.
Gene recently said that his FBI "contact" wanted to meet with him on August 12th. He thinks this means the FBI agent supports him running for President. Um, don't think so. I think it's more along the lines of, "Hey, Bill, you better check in on ol' Crazy Gene, to see if he's having another meltdown".
Who the hell is Gene Chapman, and why did you make this blog?
No, that's not a typo. The guy thinks the United States is a corporation.
Does your brain hurt yet? Keep reading, it will.
He is running for the nomination of the Libertarian, Southern, and Constitution parties. I'm not sure why he's running for the nomination of three parties, except that he wanted to not put all his eggs in one basket. There's a little problem, though. Gene thinks he tells the political parties what their platforms should be. He doesn't seem to realize that they already have a platform, and that if he wants their nomination, he must conform to their platform.
And, whoo-boy - what a platform Gene has! I'll post it momentarily.
There's one insurmountable problem with Gene's plan. To put it delicately, Gene is insane. I don't mean that as a slur. He is literally insane. See, Gene was diagnosed by doctors as narcissistic and delusional after a 90-day involuntary stay in a state psychiatric hospital. Delusional means that you don't know what's real and what's not real, which of course is the definition of insanity.
Here's a quote from Gene about that hospital stay: "The doctor doesn't think I'm crazy, he just thinks I have an alternate reality". Hmmmm .... well, I think the doctor was trying to tell him he's crazy, without coming right out and saying so.
Why was he in a mental hospital, you may ask? Well, it seems the government never issued him that much-desired "self-immolation permit" for which he applied (no, I'm not kidding), so he decided to just set himself on fire in front of an IRS building in South Carolina. Luckily (or maybe unluckily, as the case may now be) a few people who watched his regular blog for laughs decided to call the police. When they stopped him, they found a leaking propane tank on his RV also.
Let's see ..... setting yourself on fire next to a leaking propane tank. Hmmmm .... nah, definitely not a good idea, unless of course you planned to blow up a LOT of people, not just yourself.
Gene also brags about having an IQ of 96. No, I'm not kidding.
At any rate, I decided to make this blog so people can follow his antics without having to dig through all the completely irrelevant crap on his "presidential blog" or his personal blog. I'll just post the good stuff here. By "good stuff", of course, I mean that I will only post things that are really funny, really weird, or really idiotic; or, as usual with Gene's antics, all of the above.
Now, before you start booing and hissing me for making fun of a crazy guy, bear this in mind. Gene has recruited others to get involved in his campaign. He has a webmaster, a Southern States campaign manager, a campaign manager, a "9/11 Advisor", and I'm sure many others will jump on the crazy train later. So, it's not just a lone nutjob pulling this crap. He actually has cheerleaders, and they're all in the so-called "tax honesty movement" - in other words, they think there is no law which requires them to pay income tax. That's why Gene had "death fasts", too, and why he wanted to set himself on fire. He wants desperately to become a "martyr" for the "tax honesty movement".
Obviously he figures that, if he can't become a martyr, then by golly, he'll become President! (It really does hurt your brain to think like this guy, doesn't it?)
At any rate, Gene's "webmaster and audioblog coach" for his presidential campaign is Doug Kenline, the original member of Gene's little Cult of the Poisoned Mind. I asked Dougie if, by being Gene's "audioblog coach", he was suggesting that Gene was unable to speak or use a phone on his own. He got a little upset about that, but I don't know why. It's a valid question. After all, to use audioblog one need only call a number, enter a PIN, and speak into a telephone. It's not rocket science, and one certainly doesn't need a coach for something that simple.
Doug is an idiot, incidentally. He actually puts a goofy homemade "press" sign into a hat, and pretends like he's a journalist. No, I'm not making that up.
His Southern States manager, Robert Clarkson, is a long-disbarred lawyer. He tells people he resigned over a dispute about how bar association dues were being spent, but that's a baldfaced lie. He was disbarred for (among other things) stealing a poor woman's welfare check to force her to settle a case.
His 9/11 Advisor is a MIT doctoral candidate who runs track (a lot) and thinks the government blew up the World Trade Center. He points to (among other things) something in the buildings that he claims is molten metal. Um, it looks like fire to me, and I don't think you have to be an MIT doctoral candidate to have functioning eyes.
Anyway, that gives you a pretty good overview. So, without further ado, enjoy the antics - past and present - as Gene Chapman makes his bid for the White House, Incorporated!
